- It's sad that I am considered a regular member on UnMeta: I haven't been there in several months. -- The Zombiebaron 17:23, July 30, 2012 (UTC)
- Why does UnMeta even exist when all the Uncyclopedias aren't even connected anymore? Whereas the Wikipedias become even more interconnected each day. Maybe we should start creating more interlanguage links. ~
- UnMeta was created by members of the English Uncyclopedia community in 2006 as a hilarious joke. Everyone laughed and had fun for like a month, then forgot about it. Several years later, some foreigners thought that UnMeta was a real thing and started working on it as if it was a serious project. Interwiki links will not foster a sense of togetherness among the various Uncyclopedias. The main barrier between us and the other Uncyclopedias is that we all speak different languages. -- The Zombiebaron 18:12, July 30, 2012 (UTC)

Drop Down Menus and Stuff
Since the recent upgrade (degrade?) of Uncyclopedia, the drop down menu option doesn't work on the browsers I use (firefox or safari on a mac). Are you having the same problem or is there something I need to reinstall?. Thanks. --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 18:40, July 30, 2012 (UTC)
- I have not experienced a problem with my drop-down-delete-menu (I use Firefox 3.6 on my iBook G4). I'm not entirely sure why I haven't experienced a problem, because almost everybody else seems to have. Most of my other javascript stuff is broken though. -- The Zombiebaron 18:52, July 30, 2012 (UTC)

Hey. I was wondering if you were too quick to hand rollbacks to this user. He/she/it is still coming to terms with the nature of the site, and has been getting criticism from a fair number of sources. At the time it was given he/she/it was still not classed as autopatrolled, and I found myself reverting/undoing around 50% of his/her/its edits. It's just my gut feelings on what has happened here, and I don't know if it should be undone, but I wanted to pass my feelings on. Nominally Humane! 12:02 07 Aug

Terms of Use?
Perhaps a legally binding Terms of Use (shortcut: UN:TERMS) will deter those vandals: "You agree not to ... disrupt or cause harm to any articles or other pages that constitute the Service." ~ 02:13, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I have nothing to say to the above statement except Boner. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 02:16, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Ummm...what? "Legally binding"? How are we going to pay for the litigation? How are we going to track down people to litigate? I just don't understand how a huge block of text that nobody will ever fully read is going to curb vandalism. -- The Zombiebaron 02:26, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I had a different reason for doing this. Since we're pretty much an independent website from Wikia, we should probably register our own copyright agent to take care of DMCA-related shit. ~
- We're separate from Wikia? Has anyone advised them, as the site owners, of this? Nominally Humane! 02:39 11 Aug
- There is no "copyright" on anything published on this wiki. Everything here is released under the CC BY-NC-SA license. So other people are free to share content from Uncyclopedia, as long as they don't profit off of it, attribute the work properly, and release their work under the same license. In the past I personally sent some DMCA take down notices to people who were using my images without attributing them to me. We don't need "our own copyright agent". -- The Zombiebaron 03:00, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Mirror Uncyc? Nominally Humane! 03:16 11 Aug
- Does the mirror site comply with CC BY-NC-SA? -- The Zombiebaron 03:39, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Nope. ~ 03:50, 11 August 2012
- Yep. And if anyone bothered to check what CC BY-NC-SA requirements are, and the changes made to the mirror over the past few months, you'd see a lot of the legal issues have been resolved. The underlying issue of not being administered has changed. The only remaining concern I have is it displaying images that are hosted off-site, but that is an issue with an off-site host that is beyond the reach of the mirror's admins. That same issue also crops up on the meta site, and a few other non-Wikia Uncyc equivalents. Of course, there is also the capacity to display offsite images here via URL link, as the Muhammad-sausage incident showed. Nominally Humane! 04:04 11 Aug
- Admins and off-site images have nothing to do with the CC BY-NC-SA license. I already summarized the requirements in my comment above. -- The Zombiebaron 04:50, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Okay - if you can find an example where CC BY-NC-SA hasn't been addressed on the mirror site I'm happy to delete the page in question. Nominally Humane! 04:34 14 Aug

Hey man. This one had a lot of promise. Could you restore to main space? Or failing that, into my userspace? Nominally Humane! 07:33 28 Aug
- Hey, sorry, I didn't realise i needed to write more than that..... I wasn't sure of the "required" length, but I've seen plenty of articles in here shorter than that...What's the general rule-of thumb regarding length or "finished" status then? Would be much appreciated if you undeleted it..... -- Strainj1 08:38, August 28, 2012 (UTC)
- It's an undefinable rule. There's a factor of quality versus quantity. A genuinely funny article can be only a paragraph or two. Longer doesn't always make better. I agree that the article was either complete or close to. If it goes into user space then we can get it reviewed, (I may even get off my butt and review it myself), and any shortcomings can be addressed. Nominally Humane! 09:57 28 Aug
- I can restore it and put a 30 day tag on it. --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 12:44, August 28, 2012 (UTC)

Uncyc comedy network
What's your opinion about starting a wp:webring of comedy websites? —qzekrom.net16.net clicky! 18:32, August 29, 2012 (UTC)
- My opinion of webrings can be nicely summed up by a quote from that Wikipedia article you linked: "They were popular in the 1990s and early 2000s, particularly among amateur websites, but have since fallen out of general use and become rare, except for pornographic sites which still employ webrings quite often." -- The Zombiebaron 20:31, August 29, 2012 (UTC)

- I doubt that chronarion's site gets any traffic these days. But yes, I do agree that we could generate more traffic by partnering with other comedy sites. The big question though is who would want to be our partner. -- The Zombiebaron 22:32, August 29, 2012 (UTC)
