Great start, lots of good humor, and lots of potential. There are some grammar issues that can be easily cleaned up (I'm happy to help with that if you'd like), and then with a few tweaks and expansion, this could be real solid. Hmm, I’m not really sure about the subtle differences for mobile vs. desktop stuff. You could try what you suggested and it might work. You might also wanna ask JJPMaster (again, I know) or Cassie. I need a strong and capable admin to help me with something, would you happen to know one?

Basically, I noticed the interface page for the edit notice at MediaWiki:Edittools is incorrect. Uncyclopedia is not under a Creative Commons SA License, it's under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA License.

Template edit request

Yooooo how's my favourite Uncyclopedia admin doing?

Sorry for being so clingy, I'm still new from Wikipedia, so I need a bit of assistance. Basically I want you to edit Template:Vfh featured. Basically just put a {{If administrator}} template (which I added to this wiki btw) around the {{OmBox}} (which I expanded the documentation page of).

The reason is, non-admins can't edit the featured article queue, so why are they being suggested to edit it? It doesn't make sense.

Also, if you see this paragraph, this means {{If administrator}} is working. If it is, sign off your reply to me with Cheeseburger, please.

Need to talk, need your help

So, get this, I'm submitting these pages about these weird and odd creatures, animals, fish, whatever, and apparently some think that they are based on some real living entities. What the actual fuck? I mean, like what the actual...? If they had bothered to like read my personal page, I mention that I plan to write up a page about The Castaways which is basically the Gilligan's Island cast. About the show, since there's already a page about the fictional island itself. And what I had planned was for the castaways to run into, or encounter these mythical and dangerous creatures. Because that's kinda how the show was designed for plot devices. Something was always preventing them from escaping. So anyway, I just don't know wtf is going on in some people's heads! HOW ON EARTH can anyone assume that a goldfish, an alligator, or a mammoth (which last I heard they are extinct) or a silly dolphin are somehow about an actual bunch of these things? Thanks, and yeah, I kinda do my own thing and stay out of everyone's way. I just feel that this site is a good place to put all my parody, comedy, satire-like stuff. It's a good set up for it. Did they think I was writing about these creatures as if they represented something or someone else? What I wrote was basically an outline for what these things are about, what they did, and their origins. To give them some kind of back story. Ultimately I want to use them as fodder for other articles. I could write a page that's solely about a "clusterfuck" but it would be short, not so much to say. But this stuff, I conjured up whole backstories for these fictional beasts. I mean, what about if someone wanted to do a page about a yodeling vampire from Japan? Thanks. That means a lot to me. One thing that gets to me is the fact that there is very little to do with any Tolkien material here. There are some pages about Lord of the Rings and the author, but no real big presence of it all. Like the Greek topic, I saw to it that there was more added to that group. But all things LotR that...THAT needs to be a thing around here. I made some note somewhere about a new category for the weird creatures I've been writing about.

So that almost certainly is a carry over from the Great Split of Uncyclopedia (which I was not around for, I joined in early 2020). Back in the day, Uncyc was at fandom or wikia or whatever. But then a bunch of the funny writers got pissed off that fandom/wikia/whatever kept censoring shit and putting warnings on pages that shouldn't have them. So the funny writers left and started uncyclopedia.co, while the lame writers stayed (eventually, everything the funny writers predicted came true, and the lame writers were proven wrong about everything, they ultimately were forced to leave fandom/wikia as well). When the funny writers started uncyclopedia.co, they basically transferred over as much of the edit history as they possibly could, including user talk pages. If a user talk page existed, it transferred over, but if that particular user never logged in after the Great Split, their username was technically still up for grabs. So every now and then, we'll see a new account get created that already has an existing talk page. Hope this explains it, tho again since I wasn't here for the Great Split, you might get some better info from some currently active contributors who were around in the before time, in the long, long ago, like DWIII, Kippy, PF4Eva, Nacky, Shabidoo, and Kakun. I joined around 2004 or 2005. Somewhere in there. I was fighting an evil tyranny in a medieval village that was widely known as pompous and faggy, full of kniggits. Anyway, now it's history. But whatever happened in the gap of time between me coming here and the Great Split, I was mostly absent from the scene. Why I had nothing to do with it at all. I was barely involved. Just hanging out with my mafia familia and being a moll in the Cult of the Cow or something that went Moo. I honestly don't know what I was doing there. Probably trying to save them from the kniggits. Anyway, when I did start getting back into the scene, I had found that my hat was stolen. I was moping around for a couple of years, wondering if it would ever turn up. But it never did. So Zana Dark helped me steal another hat. Just like my first hat. And then once I got my hat, I was feeling better and wrote about the Druids. I wasn't dwelling on the past of the kniggits of old. I kinda fixed it. I mean it's working now since I took it apart and added a little more animation. Resized to smaller and it seems to work now. On my end. I hope it doesn't get huffed. I'm weaving a backstory for it. Some of it may or may not have any reflection to any persons living or dead. What I'm writing comes from odd bits of Gilligan's Island, Clash of the Titans, and some other shows and movies involving cauldrons and witches. Oh and some Britons and the Irish. And some Italians. UGH! I really didn't want to bug you with this, but apparently "cauldron" and "caldron" is all mixed up. Is there any way to change the title? I mean both spellings are correct; Canadian vs US versions, but, it's just such a pita. Also the file "CICoC.gif" isn't going to be used, so you can delete that one. And to note; I'm apprehensive about the whole page anyway although I'm literally making it up, there are a few references to personas. But they're so esoteric. The combo mafia elements and historical practices would have to be seen by someone with extensive knowledge in both these areas for some of it to actually mean anything. Don't worry, you're not bugging me. Great humor there so far. For the gif titles, I think you can change them by simply moving them. I'll go ahead and huff CICoC.gif for you. If anything you need ends up getting huffed, just let me know and I'll hack it up for you. As for making gifs "work", that's something I'm not very good at. I often have trouble when I find a gif on google or whatever, then I save it, but when I open it up again, it's just not working, or moving very slowly or whatever. A thousand thanks! There's this site called "LunaPic" that allows you to speed up a gif, but I do it by adjusting the brightness or bringing down harsh light and then I go to Animation and in that you can adjust the speed of a moving gif. But because I have been working so much with animation (from scratch) I will find something, paint a sequence of the pic to show movement, over-impose something (fairy lights, fog, whatever) and then take that sequence to a site called ezgif.com and it will combine the individual pics into a moving sequence. That's how I did most of the gifs I've been making so far. Like the flying mammoth one. I already had the silly looking thing made, so I over-imposed it over a pic of Mount Doom and just moved it inch by inch in each frame until it was all the way across. Then ran that through exgif and adjusted from there. But of course I had to make the model of the thing first. I've been doing this stuff with animation for quite some time. I wouldn't do anything unless I cared about it enough. Like my animated music videos that I personally remix the songs I choose myself. What's more is I'm doing all of this with a PC and an old version of Windows Movie Maker. And of course the sites I mentioned. So if I can do it, anyone could. I don't have anything fancy or high tech programs. This is all from the most basic of things of the old computer world that embraced such things as Dial Up and HTML. The Honey Bees

The gif for the Castaways page must have this gif, but I can't make it work. I can re-size it and maybe that'll work, but if I put "thumbnail" size to the actual gif, it stops being a gif. What to do? The Where Are They Now section is going to be pretty full. There's a lot to tell (in reference to their somehow always ending up back on the island and dealing with a basketball team, etc) so the gif of the Honey Bees is something essential to the storyline. It's tagged as a "high quality GIF", which makes it unable to be animated at sizes below it's intended size. Lowering the quality of the file itself should work. 08:11, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

Thanks Alula, I just went ahead and re-sized on Lunapic and then re-uploaded it, and it seems to be working now. The first one is 540x375 and the resize is 455x350 and so that did the trick.
