AAAA:AAAAAAAAA!/AAAAAAA

Please give a reason why you huffed this page; Will you create an Uncyclopedia in AAAAAAA? --218.186.15.241 08:56, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

I deleted it because it was nominated on QVFD. Please stop creating AAAAA pages. -- The Zombiebaron 07:52, November 26, 2011 (UTC)
Frosty then replaced {{talkheader}} with {{:AAAAAAAAA!/talkheader}} in Talk:AAAAAAAAA!. I reverted that edit saying that {{:AAAAAAAAA!/talkheader}} was meant to be used on Talk:AAAAAAAAA!/AAAAAAA only if it is re-created. Please tell Frosty what he just did and correct him. – Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.186.15.241 (talk • contribs) 218.186.15.241
You can ask him not to do that again yourself. However, that talk page is unlikely to be recreated, so I don't see any harm in him using it. Pup 11:15 26 Nov '11
PuppyOnTheRadio is correct, you can contact Frosty yourself on his talkpage. -- The Zombiebaron 15:21, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

Greek Uncyclopedia Vector

Hello from Sunny Bankrupt land*. I'm a bureaucrat of the Frikipaideia, the Greek Uncyclopedia. We are considering using the Vector skin in our wiki and, as we have no tech wizes amongst our admins, we wondered if you (not necessarily personally, I mean uncyclopedia in general) could tell us what needs to be done and maybe assist us in the process. After all, don't forget that you owe us! :P --JimmyX 12:07, November 27, 2011 (UTC)

**I live in the UK.

  • Step one: Get a real host (ie, not Wikia).
  • Step two: set $wgDefaultSkin = "vector"; in the LocalSettings.php (or have someone at whoever is running it do it, or use a fancy ui thing to do it for you).
  • Step three: There is no step three. You're already done at this point.
I say this because what the English Uncyclopedia uses is not stable - it doesn't work at all on some browsers, and doesn't fully work on any. And every time Wikia changes something, it needs to be updated, something which noone here is prepared, at this point, to continue doing indefinitely. The only other viable option would be if Wikia were to suddenly enable the skin after all, but their PR guys have repeatedly said they won't and this seems like one of those rare things they might keep their word on. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 17:57, 27 November 2011
Lyrithya is the one who designed our vector skin. If you'd like more help from her beyond what she's just said, I suggest you talk to her on her talkpage. -- The Zombiebaron 19:07, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! --JimmyX 21:39, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

A load of crap

Hello, I was wondering if I could get the stuff I did for the article A load of crap moved to my user space. I took some time off for Thanksgiving and noticed that it got jack-smacked out of existence, but I was about 90% finished with it, so I was wondering whether it could be placed there until I can finish it. If you thought it was NRV worthy, then I would also like some ideas on what to do with it, but I thought several of the sections were pretty funny (at least the section titled Dung was pretty funny). Let me know. Thx. Jonny appleseed 17:28, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Your page was deleted because it had a {{construction}} tag on it, and it hadn't been edited for 7 days. I assumed that meant that the author had abandend it without finishing it. In the future, please remember to remove the {{construction}} tag after you finish your article. -- The Zombiebaron 21:46, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for un-huffing this one. Jonny appleseed 16:10, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

Page Deletion

I had noticed that you had deleted my page on Toast Kicking, I am sorry that I couldn't make this clear, but that was a complete article, I would have added more. I was on to other things at that point. If you could please reply, detailing the parameters of a complete page, that would be great. --rincewindthecoward

I have recreated your page so you can continue working on it. Please add some more links, and some pictures to it. When you are done, remove the {{construction}} tag. -- The Zombiebaron 22:54, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
thanks, I will--rincewindthecoward

Please unhuff my vanity page

you deleted one my group of friends' page called SandyGeorgia. we know it's not a person, but it's a person behind an account on wikipedia. it's a username of someone! so we'd like to petition to get it back... it'd mean a lot. HOW DI I START A PAGE ON HERE?

I AM NEW TO THIS AND DONT KNOW HOW TO START A PAGE I THOUGHT THAT PEOPLE GOT ON HERE AND EDITED OTHER PAGES, FOR LAFING. I DIDNT KNOW SOMEONE ELSE MADE THE PAGES. SO NOW KNOWING THAT OTHER PEOPLE MAKE THESE PAGES I WOULD LIKE TO START MY OWN SO I CAN PUT WHAT I WANT. PLEASE HELP ME.

THANKS – Preceding unsigned comment added by Calvincrabtree2 (talk • contribs)

I'll answer for ZB. It's very easy to create a new page, you can go here and simply fill in the boxes. If that does not tickle your pickle then you can just type the name you would like to use for your article into the Search bar, on the next screen you should see some text saying that the page does not exist (if it does choose another title). Just click the title of your article on that page (it should be a red link) then when you save that page you will have created a new article. Also, STOP TYPING IN CAPS, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE SHOUTING, you should also sign your posts with four tildes like this: ~~~~. Hope that helps. --Chiefjustice3DS 12:33, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

Mr. Baron

Good day, kind Sir. A question and a potential disaster (why oh why do changes harm rather than help???) I look at changes to "my pages" by hitting on "Related Changes" on my user page. But that is now gone???!!!! Would you put it back, or else I won't know what changes have been made. Thanks, and all holiday wishes to you and a few of yours. Aleister 18:04 1-12-'11

I'm not sure what you are talking about. The related changes link is where it has always been: in the toolbox right under what links here. -- The Zombiebaron 18:08, December 1, 2011 (UTC)
Ah, I see, thanks. This is the first time my toolbox was collapsed, it is usually open and I didn't know it collapsed. I now have "Participate" and "Toolbox" as collapsed elements and not fully listed. My deepest and unsincere apolgies for taking up your time, but the holiday wishes still hold even though I'd like to take them all back now. Enjoy! Aleister 18:11 1-12-'11
Yes, the toolbox and the participate boxes have been collapsing by default since this morning. I'm not entirely sure why. -- The Zombiebaron 18:15, December 1, 2011 (UTC)
Ghosts in the machine. Thanks for swift answers which have relived my mind. Aleister 18:21 1-12-'11
You're welcome. -- The Zombiebaron 18:24, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

You've ruined my sense of Nostalgia.

Dear Zombiebaron,

I need to know something. You deleted a page of mine called UnNews:Crippled Boy Found Guilty of Treason. I just want to know this: why? I'm not mad (at least not very much), all I'd like really is to get it back. And I don't mean back on Uncyclopedia. I just want a copy of the source to keep o my computer. But I'm getting sidetracked, just, please tell me, why'd you do it? – Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.209.182.98 (talk • contribs)

I deleted your page after it was nominated on QVFD. While it was long and probably took you some time to write, I didn't find it very funny. Maybe it's because I'm Canadian, but "a kid with a broken leg couldn't stand up to salute the flag, so his family shot him to death" isn't the sort of joke that makes me laugh. If you'd like to work on the article some more, let me know. -- The Zombiebaron 02:33, December 5, 2011 (UTC)

I guess I do understand where you're coming from with that. I was just trying to parody some real life suspensions based on not stand during the pledge of alliegance. And you can never expect everyone to find something funny. And to be honest, my sense of humor probably won't change very much. It's just, I know that there are some people out there that liked it, and even if it is never published again, I'd still just likke to archive the source formatting for myself, if that isn't too much too ask for. -Thanks for your time, 24.209.182.98 12:40, December 5, 2011 (UTC)

I have undeleted your page and placed a {{construction}} tag on it. This will provide you with a chance to improve it before it can be deleted again. -- The Zombiebaron 15:35, December 5, 2011 (UTC)
You should probably consult with with UPjcm too, considering you're using his work as the source.-- Phlegm Leoispotter * (garble! jank!) 19:23, December 5, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you.

24.209.182.98 21:57, December 5, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, I did just realize something. I, well, I don't really know how you expect me to improve it (other than the parts where the parents shoot him, I got rid of that already). I don't want to bother you any more. Looking at your talk page, it does look like you've got a lot to do, (or maybe not. I'm no expert) but some pointers might be useful.

-24.209.182.98 22:08, December 5, 2011 (UTC)

Just do your best, then remove the {{construction}}. -- The Zombiebaron 02:46, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

OH NOES! D:

I think I've qvfd'd an article that was far longer and vandalised: "Worst 100 Times To Fart" since it shows in red on the enormous list of lists.... Or maybe it was already deleted? Talk Mattsnow 19:05, December 5, 2011 (UTC)

It looks like the page was indeed vandalized, but it also had had an {{ICU}} tag on it that the author had illegally removed. So, it's six of one half dozen of the other. -- The Zombiebaron 02:49, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

HowTo:oTwoH

I think you may have deleted the article of that title. You don't have to restore it, but please at least give me the original text. My talk page would be fine. Thanks. --S0.S0S.0S.0S0 00:00, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

The title does not appear to be something the mediawiki likes. It's possible it just got eaten when the new namespaces were created, in which case nothing can be done... although if that's the case, that's decidedly not good, since it'd mean anything else with a lowercase after the : would have been eaten as well... o__o Okay, hopefully I'm just being paranoid. Don't mind me... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 02:51, 6 December 2011
Lyrithya is correct. The page you linked seems to have never existed, and I don't know why. Welcome back to Uncyclopedia, So So! -- The Zombiebaron 02:55, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
Innnnteressting.... I'll get it looked at -- sannse (talk) 03:08, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
This is a repeat of what happened with PotR's disappearing feature. Articles in the new namespaces that originally had lowercase titles after the colon seem to have all vanished somehow. --Littleboyonly.jpg TKFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFCK Oldmanonly.jpg 03:17, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

Can you use regex in sql queries? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 17:50, 6 December 2011
I have no idea. -- The Zombiebaron 01:44, December 7, 2011 (UTC)
Depending on the DBMS, the answer is probably "yes." MySQL, for instance, has extensive support for RegExp in SELECT queries.  ~ BB ~ (T) Icons-flag-us.pngWed, Dec 7 '11 3:07 (UTC)

Why did you delete my page

I believe you deleted my page, Pat Bukkkanan. Could you please explain? I thought the point of Uncyclopedia was to make politically incorrect jokes about people and their characteristics, such as Pat and his hatred for Jews, Minorities, and Catholics. 130.15.131.24 11:07, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

I deleted your page because the {{ICU}} tag expired. -- The Zombiebaron 11:14, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

Why did you delete my page Pt. 2

My old Hayao Miyazaki page, which survived on uncyc for nearly 4 years, was blamed just a few months ago. Last I checked up on it, the article had been raped with unfunny content and images by uncyc vandals. Can we restore the older version? --AmericanBastard 15:43, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

I have moved your page into your userspace so that you can fix it up however you like. -- The Zombiebaron 02:12, December 10, 2011 (UTC)

Hello Mr. Baron. Did Lytheryia or whatever the name is huff the Hall of Shame? Can't seem to find it anywhere. I brought coffee for everyone and now have my arms full of cooling brown liquid. Aleister 15:36 12-12-'11

Nope, it hasn't been deleted. -- The Zombiebaron 15:51, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

Question about a huffed file

Most gracious Zombiebaron,

I noticed that you huffed "File:Mrsa cyst exploded.jpg", with the comment "eeew". Other than the obvious "eeew" of the file, I would humbly request (insert low bow here) that you un-huff it. Here's my reasoning: The notice on the upload page states "Pornographic/shock/gore images which are clear copyright violations and/or which serve little satirical purpose WILL be deleted without warning." Please notice the clause "which serve little satirical purpose". Now, I realize that the image is somewhat gory, but it was serving its intended satirical purpose on the page Body piercing. It was intended to satirically show the medical risks of body piercing. And seriously, that whole head exploding thing I've seen on a bunch of other pages is just as gory. (By the way, I got it from Wikimedia, and if it's not too gross for them...) Anyway, the deletion of the file has left a big, gaping *sniff* hole in the article on Body piercing, and I was hoping that in your greatness and benevolence you would kindly restore the image.

Your servant Sir,

Jonny appleseed 20:32, December 13, 2011 (UTC)

I just think there's probably a better way to make that joke. If you need me to find/make you a replacement image, I can do that. -- The Zombiebaron 06:22, December 14, 2011 (UTC)
You were right. I think I found something funnier. Jonny appleseed 20:43, December 14, 2011 (UTC)

Unrelated - Could I get you to remove me from the rollback thingy? I've ended up reverting a number of things recently by accident, and I think that it's the combination of browsing on iPhone and rollback privilege that's doing it.
