It started out all right, and got some good laughs out of me (the silly war, the fascist era, the chiken eater king etc...) But then you kind of lost me along the way - it seems that when you get into the cultural and religion angles, you seem to be playing on the known stereotypes without trying an, let's say, "insider's vision". More or less what Rataube said. For example, if I'd ever rewrite the horrible horrible article on Israel, I'd proably write a whole section about the rediculous parking scene in Tel Aviv, or the everlasting battle with Jelly Fish in the summer, you know? Some inside jokes you want to export which are different that "arabs arabs, bombs, zionists, jews". But like I said, I liked it until that point. What do you think Brazilian Government decided to show? Writers? Artists? Designers? No... just women with chicken bikinis. Because, aside from that, we have nothing to show. Or, better put, nothing "Brazilian" - we do have desiginers, artists, writers, heavy metal bands and such, but they could have appeared in any country in the western world. And there's a deeply hateful nationalist ideology - followed in details by Brazilian government - which says that, for this reason, they are not "Brazilians" at all. In sum, Brazil is pure folklore. Do they just hit random page over and over until they find one or something? They are several ways to locate them: Patrol the recent changes and just wonder around (just bear in mind - this is intoxicating!), use the random page option, or use some sub options of the recent changes: new pages, edits by new users etc. This should usually cover all of your bases. ~ 15:35, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
