Much less than meets the eye! The Sioux City Journal said nothing about us; only a blogger did. And there are enough people in any city trying to improve the image of the city (or their own image of themselves) by proposing an orthodoxy, that Uncyclopedia is a natural enemy. About the blog, I agree with e|m|c's initial comment, the reaction casts him as an ass. Readers are much more comfortable with the parody, and a couple seem to think that the humor is on target, though we certainly have citycruft that isn't. Spıke ¬ 02:05 12-Jul-10

The "blogger" is a reporter for the Sioux City Journal's The Weekender publication which was going to run a full-story on it, but probably decided to not run one after using this blog to determine whether it'd have been a newsy story or not (they do that at the Sioux City Journal a lot). --EMC ^[TALK] 17:22 Jul 14 2010
