Your Article - My Two Thoughts

I have two points about this your article:

1. You're clearly putting a lot of science behind it, it's almost like writing a terrorist article here. Now this isn't particularly a bad thing, but i don't think you need to backup everything you write with evidence.
2. I think you're writing it in the wrong place. I think this would be funny if you did it like War of the Worlds was originally done, but not like that... Have you heard of UnNews? UnNews is a satirical version of a news website, run by Uncyclopedia (if you haven't heard of it - if you have, sorry!). I think you should catalog the whole thing in a series of relatively short UnNews article, you could polish them, rewrite them, get others to help you, then when you're done gradually release them onto UnNews... (in realtime). So the first one could be "Is there life on Proxima Centauri"? This would be a big job, and would require a different writing style, but I think it would work better for the article...

...But they're just my opinions. If you do go for UnNews I'll be happy to give you as much help as humanly possible, if you want it. But whatever you do, keep it in your userspace for a while and just keep going over it. (Do you know what userspace is, by the way?)

I've got a plan. I'm planning to stay at home tomorrow and type out loads more. When I've done that I'll have a good look at UnNews. I'm planing to do it a bit like Star Wars. There the different episodes weren't released in the correct time order. I'm doing the end tomorrow and the middle later. I won't spoil the plot for you. But before you start typing loads out you've got to think how you're going to do this. Uncyc articles are not "episodes". You cannot have an uncyc page that is "to be continued"... That is why I suggest you make a series of "news articles", as if it's happening to Earth, then releasing these articles in real-time on UnNews.

As comes to that mad little cow, I have been around longer than she, and I am one of the reasons she got herself banned. I see your point about not liking me to invade your space. I didn’t know it was your space. I thought it was a banned user’s space and wanted to rescue something good. I also wanted to turn it into jokes about what’s corrupt in the Roman Catholic Church. Now that I know that it’s your page I’ll leave it to you. User:LuvMuffin chose a name like yours because she wanted to confuse people and she succeeded. I don’t think I’ll help you with the page. I don’t like the implications of underage sex there. Also referring to women/girls as pussies encourages men to think of them in terms of genitalia instead of seeing women or girls as people.

I don’t think the images I linked to lack class. The first time I looked at them I didn’t quite like them. I went back to them because they showed corruption and exploitation in the Roman Catholic Church. Later I saw the images for what they are. They show an adult man and an adult woman with a committed loving relationship. The Roman Catholic Church denies monks and nuns in their position the chance for a legitimate relationship which they should have. I saw it as a committed, loving relationship which should be allowed. Then I started to like the pictures and sometimes used them on my desktop. They are stored in my computer with the title, “The Church should let them Marry”. For Uncyclopedians who haven’t seen them, the pictures.

About our fun little dispute

The reason that I've been reverting Adam and Eve was because, as I've explained here, here, and here, it's a stub. The article consists of three short paragraphs (plus a line) and two pictures, hardly enough to warrant an entire article. After consulting with a third party, I think it might be best for both of us for you to move the article to your userspace (e.g. User:Proxima Centauri/Adam and Eve) and expand it on your own time. It's fairly obvious that we aren't going to agree about whether or not it qualifies as an article, and that neither of us is going to give up on this, but it definitely qualifies as a stub and if an admin gets dragged into this (which I want to avoid, as their job is difficult enough as it is) I'm fairly certain that they would agree with me. Articles by noobs

I've put construction templates onto UnNews:JD from scrubs gets stricken off medical record. It might have potential if the author bothers to come back and add more interesting content. How should I treat such stuff in future? Codeine gave me a Ninja Star. I try to live up to it and take a peek at Recent Changes from time to time. The trouble is I'm still a bit noobish. I don't know what to do with stuff that needs work to get it up to Uncyclopedia standard. Proxima Centauri 17:24, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

I would not put constuction templates on pages (thats generally speaking for the authors to do), I use ICUs - these are added like this {{ICU|~~~~~|sub=option}} with options like {{ICU|~~~~~|sub=encyclopedic}} for instance. However the article should ideall be tagged on the day of creation (although yo can tag within seven days, I have never done that though). For artices that are older you can use ones like {{Fix}}, {{Expand}} or {{Idea}}.

It is better to try and ICU though, and categorize if the article survives as once tagged otherwise poor articles tend to sit around (which is bad). Nice revert work by the way - I've seen you take down some real tossers. There is loads of stuff here (though you'll have to sift through until you find the stuff you want) UN:CP - you'll find loads of stuff you can do to help with the boring stuff.
