Today's feature
Hi. Today's feature (now) is Template:Boner. Could you please change it? Thanks. --ShabiDOO 14:30, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- Could you talk to Bizzeebeever please? I'm not entirely sure what's going on at this point - I suggested things be adjusted so Slender Loris would get to be on the main page, since I blew it on that, and he seems to have decided things should be pushed forward a day. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 14:35, 30 Apr 2014
- Yep, I pushed it forward by a day. It'll be displaying at midnight UTC. ~ Wed, Apr 30 '14 15:17 (UTC)
- Bizzee...I don't mind changing the schedule for the retro week...but could you please fill in the slots for the following two days. If boner will be refeatrued tomorrow (Thursday) then Hardwick Fundelbuggy's Userpage should be on Friday and Fire hydrant on Saturday. It would be very appreciated. CHAS! --ShabiDOO 17:40, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- I'll do this actually, since Bizzee seems to be elsewhere. Probably sleeping. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:08, 30 Apr 2014

- I just thought of an idea. Instead of UnTunes; UnAlbums, actual albums turned into UnAlbums!-- MagicBus Talk to me! 22:11, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, that would be cool if we could stick enough untunes into an album. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 22:11, 1 May 2014
- I explain it a little more in a forum but like use real albums on this uncyclopedia like The Beatles's Abbey Road and Let It Be. -- MagicBus Talk to me! 22:16, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi! I passed by your talkpage on Wikia and saw that you left an unblock request at the very end. I wondered how I could miss that at the time it was left and went to the very bottom of the page, where I discovered a response, written by myself. I would have concluded that someone else has stolen my account, but I vaguely remember writing something similar on that particular talkpage, but it was not meant to answer that particular message. At least, I hope so. I read it and I can imagine how it felt, to apologise, to ask for your block to be removed, and to get that as a response. Even I find the message very offensive, and I am very afraid so did you.
So I would like to say sorry for that, even if it was a long time ago. Sorry. Anton (talk) 18:15, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for apologising, but I didn't find your message offensive - reading it over just now I only see that it's slightly inaccurate as I got blocked for violating Spike's rule rather than a wikia rule, but...whatever. I forgive you in any case. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 19:26, 2 May 2014
- Thanks. I see you are making an UnSignpost! Is my change summary coming true? Anton (talk) 19:35, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
- I don't know, you certainly seem to be making actual edits. Unless you meant a different summary. And since you seem to be floating around, is there any chance you could contribute to the unsignpost? – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 19:40, 2 May 2014
- The change summary is here. As for the article, I can write about Retro Week. Actually, I am not floating, I'm drowning. Maybe this will result in something good, maybe not. I had another question: you talked about how Google blocks pages from this site because they are considered duplicate content. But what if the pages here and on Wikia are the same, but the names are different? If a person searches for one name, he will see the version here, if it is the other one, he'll see the Wikia version. Or it doesn't work like that? Anton (talk) 19:55, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah, it'll come true if I can make it happen. Sure, it would be cool if you'd write about Retro Week. I thought of writing about it but I'm not sure what I'd say. If the names are significantly different, yes that would probably happen unless you searched for some of the article's content rather than the title. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:00, 2 May 2014
- Then I'll do it tomorrow, I have to leave in a moment. So renaming the other site's articles brought here or this site's articles brought there could be a solution for assuring that this site's good articles display on Google? Anton (talk) 20:10, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
- Maybe but finding other names for them would be hard, because the names articles have are usually the most appropriate ones for the subject. Thanks for the suggestion though. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:32, 2 May 2014
- I've written the article I promised. Tell me if you need more help. If nobody asks me anything, the next time I return may be in another month. Anton (talk) 19:51, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Benson
If BENSON is Canadian, than why does he have pictures of him as an African American (not trying to be racist)--Ketchup Boss (talk) 08:25, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- Not all Canadians are white. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 13:34, 4 May 2014
- Most Canadians in fact are a sort of beige-grey from spending 8 months a year hibernating from the icy deadly snow-tundra. Even the black people turn beige-grey. That's what unites all races in Canada. They all turn beige-grey when the icy-tundra-winter passes and they have to hibernate. --ShabiDOO 16:15, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

- Ketchup Boss: good for you. Can't say it makes much of a difference to me either way, though.

- Oh dear. It's Special:AbuseFilter/21, which apparently trips on usernames containing 'fuck', among other things. I'm not sure about whether we want to block that or not, but in this case it seems it's just going to repeatedly block the user (and therefore hit MrN9000 with an autoblock, as the account is his) unless someone changes the filter. is what's producing the yellow, though I have no idea where it's stored and it also relies on an image, which would have to be changed. I'll have to do some more digging before I can figure out what needs to be done. I also thought the yellow had something to do with yellow journalism or dog pee, but that's just a rumour as far as I know. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:48, 22 May 2014

I was wondering...
I am a user who does stuff here. The nature of the stuff varies, but there seems to be quite a lot of it.
When I first came to Uncyclopedia my main goal was to try to be funny. I have since realised that some of it has a place and a time. The important thing is that it must not be overly offensive, unless it is exceptionally overly funny. It must also contribute in some way to the humour, or it does not belong. I think I know how to identify whether it does so or not by now. If and only if I do not think it is funny, I remove it.
Because the important thing is that it must not be only offensive it must also contribute in some way to the humour, or it does not belong I was wondering if perhaps this relates to my username. Currently... I certainly would value your opinion on this. Not Aleister's opinion though. I sent that b*st$&d 3 e-mails to 2 different address when I came back and he's still not replied yet. The B"s&t$*d. I must wait for his forgiveness... Anyway... RE your opinion... I was wondering if maybe I should change it to Jesus F Christ or perhaps you could recommend another Jesii? For me, seeing it on recent changes is funny for a while, but then, if something is going to be around for a while, others might get tired of looking at the same joke. So... What do ya think? If you think it would be more funny changed to something else could you please make arrangements to do so? I trust your judgement, although please go easy on me if you change it to a different Jesii!!! Or perhaps you think everything is fine as it is, in which case that's cool also... I would like to know... ? :)
My girlfriend lives in Rhymney, I'm from Bristol. I had no idea about the 'spoon on floor'. Why does no one pick it up? Perhaps the spoon wants to be on the floor. I like the fact that the Welsh language comes from a language which is essentially called British. JFC 17:43. May 24
- As for your username, I think it's one of those things that some find funny, others find offensive, and others still have no or little opinion about. As for the spoon, there could be any number of reasons why it's on the floor. Perhaps it wants to be there, yes, perhaps no one wants to pick it up...or perhaps it thinks it doesn't deserve any better. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:13, 24 May 2014
- Perhaps someone should ask the spoon and end all this speculation, but perhaps the spoon does not want to be asked. JFC 18:32. May 24
- The spoon doesn't like to be asked questions that don't have sensible answers. Giving answers that aren't sensible is a lot of fun, though, I'll admit. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 01:34, 25 May 2014

Linkypoos
I have noticed that if I go to, say, UnNews, or HowTo, the link in the top left hand corner leads back to Main Page and not back to the home page of that sister project (I mean, clicking on the UnNews symbol, I would expect to be taken to UnNews. This occurs both here and on the Spoon, but does not happen on Wikinews or Wikivoyage for example. Do you know why this is? I have been rooting around the templates, but without luck. Leverage (talk) 17:14, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
- That's because Wikinews and Wikivoyage are different wikis from Wikipedia, but UnNews and UnVoyage (and HowTo, Why?, etc) are just different namespaces on Uncyclopedia, not different wikis, and there's no functionality changing the links to point to the main page for that namespace. I suppose there could be, and possibly should be, but I don't know of an easy way - or any way for that matter - to do it with css. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:39, 26 May 2014
Tinkerman
I don't know if you noticed I was messing around earlier with the Lead Articles templates (this Template:Lead_articles_2 and this one Template:Lead_articles_2/a. I don't get how to make the photos into links to the stories. The same code works on the Spoon. Any ideas what's wrong? Leverage (talk) 19:12, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- I've fixed it by putting the title thingy inside {{unnews link}}. Thanks for letting me know. I know we can't link an image to an unnews article without using a fullurl, but I don't know why. I'd be interested to know why it works on the spoon - it doesn't on wikipedia (not that they have the namespace; seems to be something about the characters Unnews:). – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 19:39, 28 May 2014
- Great work! I made about 14 little changes, couldn't get it to happen. The spoon seem to have change the names of both templates, don't know if there's some small print I'm missing, but I have noticed differences in functionalities before when I tried to paste Puppy's Template:UnNews Main Image that I ended up changing. Leverage (talk) 11:14, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- My latest tinkering is here: UnNews:Archive. I know it's not likely to be stumbled upon by casual users, but it has always bugged me how you click on a month, then you have to expand all the days. Do you know if there is a way to make it ignore the subcategories themselves and just to display everything within the month? So, for example, if we go to UnNews:Archive#2014 and the user clicks on May 2014, he simply sees all the articles written in this month, instead of having to go through all the days? Leverage (talk) 08:39, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- That sounds like it might be a good idea, but I'm not entirely sure how it would be accomplished. Maybe some sort of dpl thingy that listed pages in all the subcategories? That would probably be the best way. I should learn how dpl works. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:20, 30 May 2014

I am bored of typing it all out, and looking at it's not funny on recent changes anymore. Please arrange to change my user name to Jesus F Christ. I much prefer the freedom given by the mystery. Also, it no longer feels right. Also, my ministry may require me to preach in hell, and although they know my number, they may not recognise me like heaven did. JFC 20:57. May 29
- Ok. I'll go poke a crat or something. Can't do it myself. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 21:05, 29 May 2014
- Thank you. I just noticed it's not changed here by the File history I see the previous user name. It bothers me not one jot, but perhaps that's something which it should have changed and might cause a problem for others who name change in the future. It's all good. JFC 22:04. May 29
- Name changes don't show up on file pages for whatever reason. I don't know why. I think it's a bug in MediaWiki, not specifically our problem, but I don't know for sure. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 22:26, 29 May 2014
- That text you removed :"however you should always befriend a welshmen because they are friendly to there friends however hate there enemies with a passion so deep that even god can't remove it. the only way to befriend a welshmen is saying your wife looks nice and buying him a drink of beer". Was funny IMO and true. Along with some of the other stuff you removed. :P You vandal you! You were lucky to not get banned forever. JFC 15:09. May 30
- Spike agreed that it wasn't funny so he removed it too. I also removed it from our copy of Wales and you could put it back if you really wanted to I guess but...I don't know. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:16, 30 May 2014

How to download untunes?
How can I download the MP3's of UnTunes to my computer? -- MagicBus Talk to me! 21:08, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- You should be able to click on the white box thingy on the file page, right-click on the greyish stuff that appears and click 'Save as'. Try that and let me know if it doesn't work. Now that you mention it, though, there should probably be a nice easy button somewhere. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 21:39, 30 May 2014

User space
If I edit the Darkness (band) article, will I need to put it into my user space?--Ketchup Boss (talk) 18:37, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
- No, you can just work on it in mainspace. (As far as I'm concerned anyway; someone else may have other ideas.) If someone or other decides your edits don't make it funnier, they will revert them. If you don't want that to happen, you can put a copy in your userspace and work on it there or something. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:42, 31 May 2014

Hey Llwllwlwlwwl,
I really dig your recent articles. I'd be super happy if you'd participate in HMC. It is exponentially more fun when there are more writers. And if you don't feel so upto it...do consider judging. You have a week to read the articles and give it a score out of 10. And since most of them are featured you're going to end up reading the articles anyways on VFH! So write or judge! Say yes!!!! --00:48, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

VFD

I added Howard Stern to Quick VFD.--Ketchup Boss (talk) 16:27, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Can you?
You can... If you want to. Admins can do anything. .. But then this sort of thing happens... Is it right for Satan to remove content from talk pages in Hell? Or for him to control what others have on their own talk page? Like he does currently? This is just one step further... I was actually typing out a nice long message to you about ED and frosty and such. I don't think anyone was insulting or laughing at the the banned user. We were talking about ED. ... As I explained in all the text which was just lost in an edit conflict when you removed text from that page. Are you making a new rule now? If so, please clarify what it is? :P :P :P ... hehe.. I'm not really mad with you. Just playing. I am a little tiny bit offended that you thought I was trying to attack the banned user. I was not. Your judgement was incorrect. That's not how I roll. ... In my opinion. That is why although you can... You possibly should not. Unless you are willing to ban the people who then come and complain to you about you doing this sort of thing, and then you turn into Satan, and we have no users left. JFC 21:31. Jun 11
- What? er...argh. fooey. I thought you said I could remove it, so I did. If you think I was wrong, you can put it back...oh wait, you can't. Bother, this is so confusing. Well, as far as I'm concerned, you can put it back. You never did nothing wrong. This is your rule, after all. or non-rule. I didn't make the bread; I'm just delivering it to the customer, so don't blame me for it tasting like second-hand pee. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 21:36, 11 Jun 2014

- Shabidoo - you do realise that your enthusiasm for writing and getting people to do things involving writing extends to a lot of what amounts to telling admins what to do. There's nothing inherently wrong with that and I know I probably have no right to be pointing it out to you, but it does give me the feeling that you might be better off as an admin yourself. I know you refused it in the past. You have a right to refuse, but I think I also have the right to feel like I'm really tired and depressed and would rather just sleep for a year than fulfil requests by someone who should have agreed to be able to do them anyway. I might put the site notice up sometime but I wanted to get that off my chest. I'm also going to hide behind a history essay now; it's either feel guilty I'm not doing what shabidoo wants, or feel guilty that I'm not getting my 'real' work done. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:17, 12 Jun 2014

- I was not 'taking anything out' on anyone and I apologise if it felt that way. I was pointing out how I felt and I think I have a right to feel that way, particularly since this is by no means the first time you have asked something of me. (Btw, while we're on the subject of rights, none of us have any rights to do anything here at all, so we both of us have no right to be having this conversation.) I did take a break, but I wandered back in. If I choose to hang around the site doing things other than what you want, that's my choice. You shouldn't tell me that I shouldn't be here at all if I don't want to fulfil your requests, which is what you seem to be implying. Anyway, the thing seems to have got done so this is kind of moot.

Poopsmith's Lounge
Hi, feel being a poopsmith would be useful for me. Can you please fill me on with the application process? Thanks. Gabriel Turner (talk) 00:46, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
- I would like to but I'm afraid it may not be a good idea.
- I don't know how the 'application process' works. I'm not sure it's my decision to make; it may or may not require a crat, as when I was made a poopsmith in December it was Zombiebaron who put the box on my userpage.
- I'm not sure you're quite ready. You've been around about two years but in some ways you're still newish; you have a number of things to learn about how stuff is done and I would like you to get a better feel for stuff before you're a poopsmith. You also have this habit of trying to get yourself blocked (yes, I do see it as a pattern because you were doing it before the fork, and this site and wikia are both Uncyclopedia and all that) and I would rather you not do something like that in the course of shovelling poop... though this concern may well be unfounded.
- I think the admins are doing an ok job of things and while help is always appreciated, I don't think we really need to give anyone else a shovel atm.

People have been blocked in the past for making this mistake but I wouldn't do that; it's a mild annoyance at worst. Still something to keep in mind though.) – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:40, 14 Jun 2014

Competition Monkey Happy
Hi! Don't know if anyone explained to you why the full URLs are needed on the scoring page, so here's a link to Shabidoo's explanation. Anton (talk) 06:36, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- 'So the links are clickable' is not an explanation, because any old link is clickable if it's a link, but I already understood that the point was to properly link to the articles on both sites. And guess what? I don't care. There is nothing about what I did that prevents it from being copied as-is to Wikia. If some of the links are red, tough cookies; neither site needs or wants to link to the other, and this whole idea of having the competition be across both sites is stupid anyway. Do we really expect ScottPat to be willing to put his articles here, or Zombiebaron to put his articles there? If we do, we shouldn't.
- And that aside, there is even less of a reason to randomly link to people's Wikia userpages. Puppy and Smuggler have pages here and the ones that don't can be nice redlinks without hurting a thing. Excess Wikia links are nothing more than spam. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 12:14, 19 Jun 2014
- Everything you just said and your edits on the scoring page are petty and childish, and I frankly expect better. Please think about how much this actually matters (Hint: Not at fucking all) before editing a Happy Monkey page again. I think you'll find that throwing accusations and unprovoked mudslinging all over the place is not, in fact, the proper way to run a website. -RAHB 12:41, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- You're probably right. I was kind of thinking that. I'll go away now. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 12:43, 19 Jun 2014
- Llwy, just a few things you might want to take into consideration: as many noticed, Shabidoo's competition, and especially the inter-wiki part, boosted the activity on both sites significantly and resulted in as many new articles, that have appeared in two days, as both sites usually achieve in a month period. This is not the only benefit I noticed. Concerning the "neither site needs or wants to link to the other", Spike, whom you and others often criticise of attributing a too important role to Wikia's policies, did nothing to diminish the amount of external links pointing here on the Wikia site. Finally, you went as far as two reverts, which is quite disruptive and is almost a violation of the three-revert rule Wikipedia has.

Please don't take any of this too seriously or close to heart, as I just wanted to explain this to you, so there is no misunderstanding. Anton (talk) 15:26, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Nothing intelligent to respond... anyway, I never apologised so anyway I'm sorry. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 16:49, 19 Jun 2014
My apologies
for just plopping in the Wikia debate page without checking. I knew it was on VFD in both places, and wanted to at least save a copy of it if someone at Wikia reverts it. Yes, all the stuff you did is better than what's in its place, I just bull-in-China-shoppedit. Aleister 22:25 19=6=14
