Love is love
Love is love, also known as Divina Articula, is an Uncyclopedia article written by Sophia on September 6, 1969. The article, containing exactly three words, is completely identical to its title, Love is love. The article contains three parts: Love, is and love; the first part, Love, has been adapted by Danish film director Lars von Trier into his film The House That Jacked Off.
Love is love is considered a milestone in the history of Uncyclopedia. Since the article is divine, it is not contained in any of the Uncyclopedias, although the fact that there is no Love is love article in the English-language Wikipedia is quite close enough. The article's themes are mostly LGBT, with the addition of some LGBT. It is considered to be inspired by Sophia's infamous romance with Mr. Potato Head, which resulted in the birth of "Weird Al" Yankovic in 1959. The article, which determines that no act of love is more divine than another act of love, was delivered to the Uncyclopedians by Sophia via EMC's WhatsApp a long, long time ago, on EMC's Samsung Galaxy.[1]
Is it comedy?[edit | edit source]
Love is love contains only the term love while simply indicating that love is love. What makes it an Uncyclopedia article is its brilliant humor. Normally, an article that indicates that something is itself wouldn't be that funny; but Love is love is funny, because some people think making love to an eggplant isn't as divine as doing it with a chicken. Or that having sex with a woman isn't as holy as fucking your brand new Mitsubishi. So the embarrassment inflicted on those ignorant people is, no doubt, comedic enough.
Take me, for example. I'm pretty embarrassed right now, because writing this article makes me feel pretty ignorant. Because I am. Ignorant, that is. But by the end of this article, I won't be, by the name of Sophia!
Let's just continue.
Me[edit | edit source]
I love writing Uncyclopedia articles, that's for sure. Let's start there. I've been doin' this shit for 16 years now, give or take. In two different languages, no less. I especially love my Metallica article. So I will just have to find another thing that I love, which is completely unrelated, and just see if it's the same love.
The second thing which comes to mind is the band Rammstein. I just love those guys. And it doesn't seem to be very related to writing articles. One is writing funny stuff and the other are a bunch of German people. That's exactly the same as a man fucking another man and a woman fucking a man.
Well, the love is the same because the love causes me to write funny stuff, and also wanting to go to a Rammstein concert and hopefully burn some stuff. When you write something funny, you usually try to burn some holy cow. So both loves are the same: I love to burn stuff.
Wow. That was fun. I recommend that each one of you try to do that. It makes you feel good.
Holy cow![edit | edit source]
So if a holy cow is actually burned in this article, it means the article is actually funny, and that I'm not homophobic.
Let's see. What's the holy cow of the moment?
Oh, yeah. Britney Spears's conservatorship. Well, that's easy to burn. I mean, is that some kind of Conservative spaceship? A Ferengi spaceship? Some Texan people building an all-White colony on Mars? What the hell is wrong with you? Free fucking Britney already or I'll hail my favorite black horror character to rape your wife.
