Hey, thanks very much!--Shandon 02:29, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
I had the KD idea last night, sorry. It was too good to pass up. I think it's between you, me and MoneySign. But who knows what they will like? Good luck to you, Mighty Hermaphrodite!--Shandon 00:15, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- D'OH! I meant Modusoperandi. Actually, I'm afraid of MoneySign. It was a subconscious slip. Don't tell anyone.--Shandon 01:22, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
My Sig[edit source]
Why is it doing that. the time stamp wants to be seperate spot when in the voting boxes. Help. --User:Tom mayfair/Sig03:42, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Alright I think I fixed it. Now, go to your "preferences", and where it says "nickname" add {SUBST:nosubst|User:Tom mayfair/Sig} with one more { on each end, and check the box that says "Raw Signatures". I think that will solve your problem. If it doesnt, tell me and I'll try again. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 03:52, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- By god I think you're a genius. Thanks a lot. --User:Tom mayfair/Sig04:06, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

No worries[edit source]
No wuckas re the barney on my page. A good stoush is always fun. But re the point you made about me being "very new" here, well sure, but that doesn't mean I don't know funny when I see it. Hell, I could be a sock puppet for Garry Shandling or Larry David for all you know. Cheers -- Sir Armando Perentie KUN FP 04:53, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
NRV on Adderall[edit source]
I don't see how you can add a NRV tag to an article that was just created yesterday. It goes without saying the article is going to be expanded, and adderall is a commonly-abused enough drug that enough people would find the article funny. MagicOgre 18:09, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- The article makes a funny point about how adderall is used. I don't think anything about it warrants a 7-day time limit for me to come up with something funny enough to expand it with. I expected other users might expand it, as I expanded the article Incoherent (before I was registered) which, if you look through the revision history, originally contained less content than Adderall. There is no reason for the article to have a 7-day limit. MagicOgre 16:44, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

How do I revert stuff? (BTW, he hadn't been banned when I posted at 00.40) -- Sir Armando Perentie KUN FP 01:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, scratch what I said, me and a few other people already reverted it all. But anyway, to revert stuff, start by looking at the history of the article. Then, click on the version before the vandal edited. Edit that version, it will say "You are editing an out of date page." Then, press save. You dont need to be an admin to make helpful reverts. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 01:20, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

I added more content to Bad Dudes, along with more pictures. Hopefully it has redeeming value at this point.--User:Baramos/sig 12:31, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Is it okay?[edit source]
I've took it upon myself to edit as many redlink pages as I can. I have done over 50 in the past two days. Can I take out redlinks on any page or just the ones with the redlink tag? I want to contribute but I don't want to upset any admin. in the process by going out of my way to do something that is not required of me. I love this place and I think I should help out. Is this okay to do or do I need permission to edit redlinks on pages? --User:Tom mayfair/Sig 03:47, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I'm done with Redlinks. Now what can I do. The one tags for redlinks are linked to other userpages. I feel accomplished. So now what? --User:Tom mayfair/Sig 23:38, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
n0valyfe[edit source]
Hello this is S_boy. My friend Aj (Ajdeman) and I have worked on the N0valyfe article together. It was marked for administrative review(no redeeming value), which I fully agree with as no notification about it not being finished was made to anyone but us, but we added the under construction template this morning when we worked on improving it. We were wondering as the http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/Uncyclopedia:No_Redeeming_Value#Removing_NRV page say we can if it is still uder construction but to ensure that we're allowed to remove it form the page as we will improving it over time. Thanks. S_boy, Main Editor of N0valyfe, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 00:42.
Link to the article: http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/N0valyfe
- I'll remove it if you can provide an explanation of what the article is about. If it is about a non-notable person, it is probably in violation of our Vanity Policies. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 01:11, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. The article is about the second best player on the game RuneScape called N0valyfe. On the game he became on of the top within a few mounths. For a short time he took first but dropped back to second. The article so far focus' greatly on the fact he became one of the best so fast (Only took him a few months). One of thing things we're trying to state is that he probbly got in bad health condition because of the time he spent on the game. We don't have anything against him, we just wanted to try an article about the second best player's life and struggles (in a funny way) ince somebody already made one about the first place player. If you go to the Runescape site: http://runescape.com/ and find the highscores ( on the left side, in the word box that says "Website Features" it should be the second in their. Once you go in you'll see a list of usernames he should be the second name down). He and Zezima (the guy in first) are very well knowm on runscape. In the article we also poke fun at a few celberties (Aj still hasen't finished the base writing so I can add what needs to be added to help improve it) who we (more me) have fun reading the articles about them. Thanks for your time and if this is not satifactory then please say so, thanks! S_boy, Main Editor of N0valyfe, Saturday, August 19, 2006 02:04. Edit: As a note of reference n0valyfe's life story is made up. We thought that should be made aware. Thanks! --S boy 02:24, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! Wether or not it is removed, thank you for all your time, aj and I greatly appreciate it! It's getting late where I live but you can respond anytime I just wont respond as fast. Talk to you later, and thanks! --S boy really happy Main editor of n0valyfe 03:25, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks dude! We will continue construction so it remains in good condition. Aj and I are terribly happy, thank you for all your time. I for all your patience and time, they better make you an adimin (actualy I thought you were one when I first came here), and I'm not just saying that. I have this page bookmarked so I will be able to see your reply (that is if you do). Once again, thank you for your time and we will work on the article to improve it more. Noob question (WTF?! Another one?)[edit source]
Is there a page listing all images on Uncyclopedia, or a way I can search for them, or both? I see way too many articles without pics, and they look shit most of the time. -- Mitch 1 2 03:55, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Custom Sig[edit source]
I was looking at some of the custom signatures people are using, and realised that they use a (seemingly) freely editable page. Does that mean anyone can hack away at your signature? (I was thinking about messing with someone's to see, but I'm not that mean). -- Mitch 1 2 08:16, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll give you a start on your sig, then make it how you like. It will be at User:Mitch 1 2/sig. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 02:54, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- I made it for you, just a start, change colors and add stuff if you like. Now, go to your preferences, and where it says "nickname" type {{SUBST:nosubst|User:Mitch 1 2/sig}}. Then, check the box that says "raw signatures", and save the preferences. After doing that, pressing the sig button will automatically produce your custom sig. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 03:05, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

NRV: Budding[edit source]
Not to dispute the NRV, but since when is the NRV tag a minor edit? Alksub 10:01, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sir Cornbread: I feel like I'm passing out the wish to spank far too easily today, but Budding in not worthy of an NRV. It's funny and all it needs is addition to the meta- or self-referential- humour categories. 20:27, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

I am, in fact, at this very moment having a beer in the winners' honour. It softens the blow somewhat. One point! I'm going to obsess about that for hours...maybe mine will make feature, it would be nice to have a VFH beside my VFP. I'm going to do something else for awhile (drink beer) and come back to it after it's unlocked and my case of Poo Lit fever subsides (it's nice not 'shopping and 'shopping and 'shopping a friggin' pic of Vanilla Ice. Have you ever tried to airbrush out a beard? I have, once. Never again). But I'm obsessing...I think I'll dig out my "Venture Bros." I demand that [[Sanyo-Uncyclopedian War not be deemed NRV a 'vanity page', this is an article on a conflict, with uncyclopedia users as it's combatants, if this level of interactivity is 'not redeeming', nor the comedy value of a war on Sanyo to kill off txt language is of a high enough level to satisfy you oh great Administrator, then I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.

Civility[edit source]
Having read User talk:Tom mayfair, I'm asking you to please consider the appropriateness and civility of messages you leave for other users in future. There's simply no reason for you to start hurling insults at people, even if you have an editing diagreement. Both MoneySign and I spoke to Tom on IRC yesterday about his "award stealing", and I'm satisfied that it was a misunderstanding on his part. I also explained to him that other users may well be annoyed at him doing this when they have worked hard for the wiki to earn their awards, and again, I'm satisfied that he understands this now. But there's no excuse for being abusive to another useful contributor. Telling vandals to go fuck themselves is one thing, but dissent within the community is counterproductive. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 12:41, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

- I guess I had better stop editting redlinks, dead ends, and redirects since I'm not a good contributor though, if you've been watching. I guess NRV, VFD, & QVFD is the real work around here.-- 13:26, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Uncyclopedian of the Year[edit source]
That picture is a picture of you voting for Sir Cornbread. That's right. He's nominated for Uncyclopedian of the Year. |
So like...you will be voting for yourself, right? --EMC [TALK] 01:16, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Why[edit source]
Don't you go and sign up for the Official Welcoming Committee? -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)

- Under discussion for a while. Still in its early stages of development currently. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)

Suburban homeboy[edit source]
In honour of your good taste and breeding for selecting a deep, socially conscious and literate satire as Suburban homeboy for featuring, I tip my cap to you. Hurrah!--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:15, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Note[edit source]
Look, I'm new. So I don't know anything about this site, except being funny, HTML, as well as uploading images.
You know what? Let's just forget this crap and start again. Hi! I'm Michael!

Double spaces[edit source]
Is there any reason why a lot of articles have two spaces between a full-stop (oh yeah, Yanks call it a period, or something) at the end of a sentence, and the first letter of the next sentence? -- Mitch 13:50, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Not exactly sure what you mean...give me an example. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 01:50, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's not that clear what I meant. Example: "This is a sentence.<space><space>This is the next sentence." Except replace those <spaces> with actual spacebar spaces. -- Mitch 02:10, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Not exactly sure what you mean...give me an example. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 01:50, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry for the driveby, but two spaces after a period was the way they used to do it. I was taught typing on an IBM Selectric typewriter, and a space-space made the text easier to read. Old school!--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 03:54, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
You'll notice the double spaces in my writing. It's an idiosyncrasy of my writing that makes it easy to identify, since I've always done it as long as I can remember. It might have something to do with the fact I learned to type in 1986, but I cannot confirm this. 04:04, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
I've already changed heaps of them into single spaces. I hope no-one minds... -- Mitch 05:44, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Regarding The Ultimate Battle[edit source]
I don't think this deserves an NRV, it's either vanity or belongs to gamespace. --Quira 05:48, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Voting[edit source]
I've removed my against vote and replaced it with a For vote. I couldn't do it earlier because I was blocked for "accidently" creating double redirects. --Micoolio101 02:53, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Micoolio101
VFH[edit source]
No need to apologize for voting against. I'd rather have an against with an "I don't really like this one" than one with "I don't get it". I think it's funny, and after rewriting part of American Fundie Magazine (with the depressing research that that required), and the (somewhat) more subtle (and absurd) Solid Gold, I needed a laugh.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 22:46, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Congrats on the back-to-backs by the way! -- Sir C Holla | CUN 22:49, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it's been a good couple of months. I went from "Modusoperandi" to "Sir Modusoperandi VFH(x2) VFP(x2)" in what, thirty days? Outrageous! It makes all of the heartache of researching, writing, retouching/making pics, and relentless tweaking worth it. That Suburban homeboy got featured surprised me, particularly as it only got nominated because Mister Nosey nom'd all of the pages that either won or got an honourable mention in Poo Lit.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:04, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

- Sadly, Hermaphrodite has fallen into stagnation...My new masterpiece will be ready soon enough though... -- Sir C Holla | CUN 23:07, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, I voted for it...and good luck w/the Grinch parody, but try to avoid calling it a masterpiece; you don't want a head that's too big for your shoulders (I, personally, submit a pic to VFP everyonce in awhile to get butchered to ensure the continued parity between the size of my melon and the rest of me. Two got featured, oddly, so my head is just a little too big right now.). If your ego got too big you'd be wandering around this wiki with an entourage, then you'd come out with a line of clothes, then a fragrance and "Cornbread: The Spoken Word Album". The rest of us don't need the hastle. "Keep it real", as the kids say. They do still say that, right?--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:18, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. But the fragrance and album sound like a good idea. What do you think of the start I have? Any suggestions? -- Sir C Holla | CUN 23:22, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sadly, you're asking the wrong guy. I never liked the Grinch and, as such, am at a disadvantage when critiquing a parody there of. You might want to change "bourbon" to the .5% alcohol drink that they're allowed to have (I can't remember what it's called, though), and try not to use Jew all the time (repetition can be comedy, but Hebrew rhymes too). That's about all I've got.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:34, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Bourbon rhymes perfectly there, so I dunno about that. But you just might be right with the Hebrew part. Thanks. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 23:37, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- I might be able contribute a couple of pics; but you'd be in line behind Shandon, so it could be awhile...--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:49, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Just a note, if "THEY" (as in the drink they are allowed to drink) refers to "US" (as in Jews) there is no problem, basically, of drinking Bourbon. William Tennent[edit source]
Hi, I'd like to ask why you changed my vanity page markings on the William Tennent Highschool page to one which designates it for huffing in 7 days? I went through this yesterday, and attempted to fix it to the best of my abilities. If you could perhaps tell me what is wrong with it, so I can better correct it, I'd be very greatful. Thank you. 68.82.130.11 22:52, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Simple. It violates our vanity policies. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 22:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Well I went through the article once again with a fine tooth comb, and, according to your history notes (I probably should have checked that before hand, but alas, I didn't) it contained names. Was this the only violation of the policy that the article was in? If so, I have fixed the only real name that had slipped by me (Randy), but, should that not be the only violation, could you please tell me what other parts of the article are in violation? Thank you. 68.82.130.11 22:58, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Just an example: "Our debate team rocks, it has me, Azrael, and FalseGods on it, and we are known to be totally insane." There's much more. In all likeliness, it will be deleted. Talk to someone else if you want. this guy is really good at helping save vanity. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 23:02, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Just delete it then. Not going to waste my time. 68.82.130.11 23:05, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
UGotM[edit source]
Thanks for helping to defend me from the foolish unhumour of a user who, by now, knows better. Hopefully. Even on a wiki with as widely varying tastes as Uncyc, it's nice to know that there's some semblance of community.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 05:13, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Just for your info...[edit source]
No, Lowee is not a sock puppet of mine -- he's Tasmanian for Chrissakes. Believe me, while I'm stoked that so many fine UnCyclopedians voted for me, I don't care that much about awards that I would cheat. Cheers -- Sir Armando Perentie KUN FP 10:33, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- I didnt vote against you, notice. I'm sure you can see why it looked a little suspicious, though. Congrats, -- Sir C Holla | CUN 03:22, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the congrats. But as for suspicious? He's Australian, doesn't have a user page and he voted for me? You'd need more than that before you could take it to the DA... Cheers. -- Sir Armando Perentie KUN FP 03:48, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, about 99.9% of socks dont have userpages...arent you Australian too? His edits were very similar to yours, making it suspicious. -- Sir C Holla | CUN 03:56, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, like Lowee I'm Australian, so it doesn't surprise me that he's taken an interest in the Australia article. And for some reason it doesn't bother me that you essentially called me a liar and a cheat on the vote page. Though if you'd asked an admin to check our IP addresses you might have seen that he lives in an island state hundreds of miles away from me. Cheers -- Sir Armando Perentie KUN FP 15:28, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

The Bureaucracy Channel[edit source]
I've changed the "listy" programming schedule to a "tabley" one, if that makes any difference. To be honest I never saw it as a list, as lists never go beyond the title+list phase (no descriptive paragraph, no excerpts, no pics, etc).--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 04:19, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
