UnNews:Massive tentacled tumor extracted from man, escapes

Thanks for the UnNews, which wins the 1-Spot on today's Front Page because of the illustration. It had a few typoes, one in the dateline; please spell-check in the future (instructions in UnNews:Style). This is based on a niche story that provides most of the weirdness--you sort of have to read the Source to understand what you did--so its time in the top spot might be limited, if someone writes an UnNews on a topic that we have ever heard of. Hey, mon... any reason you did a review on the talkpage of the article instead of the review page itself and then just blanked it? If you put it in the wrong spot, you can just copy it onto the review request proper, after all. If, on the other hand, you simply changed your mind about doing that review and hid it because of that, nevermind, although it wasn't actually that bad of a review. Could have been more in-depth, same with the Robot Ninja one, but you provide decent advice in both.

In the future, though, you may well want to say even more - with these, why was the one dull and how could that be improved, or should that section just be taken out? How could the fellow go about executing the 'instincts for humour'? That kind of thing. May help to see what other people do, too - check out reviews by the steel kidneys for examples, maybe; they tend to be good and some keep lists. Seeing what they say might give you some ideas what other articles might also need.

Anyhow, hope this helps. You've definitely got promise as a reviewer, mon. Keep it up. 1234 ~ 18:36, 11 February 2011

HowTo:Reenact History

Having only come across our article via the Noob of the Month Page, it looks ready to feature in my view. One thing I was going to say was it might need at least one more or perhaps two images to go with it. If you don't mind, I will have a look too and see if I find something suitable. Good stuff, historical re-enactment is big business. UnNews:Gadhafi vows to crush walnut

Your shoop is on display right now on the Uncyclopedia main page. Quibbles on the story itself: The first two paragraphs are background, and there is nothing about the walnut until the middle of the third paragraph! To make it look like "news," you gotta lead with the lead! which would also kill the second bird of getting to the joke faster. I loved your uNnEWS about Canada, so I was naturally distressed when I checked on it and realized that some humor-challenged IP had taken a political shit on it, and elided a couple of your best punchlines in the process. I reverted. And I guess the moment has passed, but I really should've put it up for VFH when I saw it. (Or has it passed? Should I put it on VFH?) I busted a gut, reading it.
