Random New Guy
Hello MrN9000. :D
- This is my... very.. first post on Uncylopedia.org, and after several months of browsing, i've decided your page, and the links off your page have made me laugh the hardest, and caused the most of my pupils to look over and stare at me as I collapse onto the floor. As you may have noticed, I may have to browse over the stfu&lrn2pla article.. But I will work hard to lrn2pla. This is both.. a test to see if I took in Anything while reading the help guides I can't seem to find again.. And to ask you very nicely about the Adopt A Noob Campaign.
- MrN9000. I should PROBABLY actually click on the link to find out the information about it first, but could you adopt this random WoW noob as well? <Eyelash flicker> Please?
And now I go! There are other classes I have to goto.. Tonight.. I'll read the rest of the stuff I know I probably should have before coming here.. Farewell! Thorium Brotherhood Is Not 19:16, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Hurrah, you're alive!
Congratulations, my son!
Unlike that naughty little friend of ours, the Big Bad Wolf, you have survived Ash Wednesday! As such, you have been awarded this "Get Out of Hell Free" card. You may use it only once*; use it wisely. Keep in mind there are over sixteen thousand recorded ways to sin, and the list is growing all the time. And God's just itching to practice his aim, if you get my drift. Have fun**! *Not valid for "the biggies," such as homosexuality or masturbation. Sorry. |

Help
Hi, are there any help pages that explain how to do higher level formatting?--Mnbvcxz 05:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Not sure what you mean by "higher level"? Probably the best advice I can offer if you have read the links on your talk page would be to look at articles which are doing the things you like, and copy the source code. That's what most people do... MrN
- Thanks, I meant like formatting tables, templates, et cetera. Right now, I figure out how to do most of that stuff by looking at the code in other articles then messing around until it looks right. That method (more or less) works, but it results in sloppy coding.--Mnbvcxz 05:15, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Pee Review!!!!
I spent all of yesterday afternoon devising a system by which we could archive reviewed tables without changing a single thing in the current pee review process. After a month of inactivity, the Pee Review Table will add the page to Category:Reviewed archived. This, however, will only happen if the article has been reviewed. This means that it will get off the "reviewed pee" list, into an archive page. Then, if the person wants to have it re-reviewed, they can either copy-paste a new table into the existing thingamajig or rebsubmit. And the best part is, it won't break Pee lists.-~~ Sir Ljlego, GUN [talk] 16:47, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Wow! But tell me: how is my life improved by this ingenious device? (in other words, why do we care about old pee reviews?) • <Apr 12, 2008 [16:52]>
- Well, I was teh huffing old pee reviews and putting them on talk pages. Then I got lazy and stopped. Then I spent a lot of time figuring out a way to make it work semi-automated-like. I came up with this. It's like the old forums, in a way. The ostensible purpose is to make Uncyclopedia:Pee Review/Reviewed Pee less incredibly long. Eventually it'll get all the old ones, but the job queue is a little backed up. It is working though. It'll give us an easier archive system, something like VFH has now, but differently done.-~~ Sir Ljlego, GUN [talk] 17:48, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Of course it was, Daddy. I enjoyed it, AND god got laid, so it was a win-win situation...ehem...yeah. Weird thing is it was sunny. Most of the two weeks. Ah well. Hey, He's Back!
Does this mean I can remove the pants from my head now? Also, I'm running out of Adam and the Ants songs. Anyway, nice to see you old chap. I applied for the role of stunt smith in your absence in order to keep things flowing, as it were, and some crazy admin gave me the job alongside you. However, as I said previously, there is only one MrN, so I shall keep out of your way, and only do stuff when it looks like you're not about. Or if you're bored or whatever.
Also, sorry to hear about the car man, hope you manage to get some decent replacements from your insurance (although having worked for an insurance company, I wish you a lot of luck with that one!) --SirU.U.Esq. VFH | GUN | Natter | Uh oh | Pee 19:30, Apr 17
- Hea dude. Check out this [2]. The real challenge is not getting banned too many times before people realise that you are Poopsmith. I probably recommend a post in the Ministry of Love as per mine... Oh, as per Lj in my case, don't worry about "stepping one toes" or anything, I was actually really hoping you would offer your considerable services. I guess the only possible problem might be that we could edit conflict each other if we both did the archive at the same time, but that's not really a problem. Just for your info... I normally have 3 Firefox windows up at the same time when archiving VFD, and normally cut from VFD , before saving and pasting into the archive page. I guess that so long as you do the same we will not have a problem, and at worst could edit conlict. Oh, you know you can archive QVFD and Ban Patrol also? It's tricky to know when to archive QVFD because not all the admins use QVFDc, but I'm sure you can figure it out. I normally like to leave the last day or so up at least (it helps stop repeat noms). On ban patrol I always wait for an admin to put the "checked by" tag on... New archive stuff always goes at the top whatever happens... Oh, and pick up that shovel! MrN 19:51, Apr 17
- Shovel? How very quaint. /me climbs into the seat of his pimped out earth mover. Let's get to work! Actually, I've just archived QVFD, which was something I planned to do this evening anyway - I'm estimating my time to banination will be quite short, but we'll see. I have left a message here and there, but they'll probably get missed! And the 3 tabs thing sounds like what I do when I archive UN:PIC and the like, except I tend to keep notepad open and paste it in there in case of annoyances such as that "Uncyclopedia has a problem" message I get from time to time. Oh, by the way, congrats on your second feature in absentia! --SirU.U.Esq. VFH | GUN | Natter | Uh oh | Pee 20:11, Apr 17
- Hea thanks on the feature. We are featuring articles with only 11 votes these days? Dam VFH is really slow, when I first joined up many features were getting 20 or so. Expanding my article
As you can tell, I'm new to the site, so please forgive me if this question is retarded. I just created this article here and I'm in the process of expanding it and trying to make it funny. But, I don't think I can do all of it on my own. Is there any way to let other people contribute to my article and help me expand it? – Preceding unsigned comment added by Noaxzl (talk • contribs)
- Sure dude. Submitting to Pee Review is a good way to get feedback on an article generally speaking, but I just had a look at your article, and hopefully I can offer some advice. I think the issue you have with your article is that a lot of people reading it will not know the game itself, and so might might not relate to the humour in it. I don't play the game myself, and could not really detect much that was funny. If you can find a way to appeal to a wider ordinance that might be a good idea. Personally, I think that writing a funny article about a computer game is a really hard thing to do. No seriously. I'm not sure what it is, but for some reason its a struggle... Anyway, none of this is helping you... Hmm. Well, it needs more links to other articles for sure, you have a few, but need more. Hmm, this is still not helping you. OK dude, this is what I suggest... That WIP thing you have on you page means you have 7 days to work on it before it falls under the mercy of the admins so... I suggest you consider trying writing about a different subject for a bit. Really. I helps, try writing about something else, and then maybe try coming back to this article in a day or two... Sorry I could not be of more help, but I just did not "get" your article, and I am struggling to offer anything useful. Sorry dude. MrN 03:14, Apr 26

- Well of course it'll get a hit on Wikipedia, it's a game. That doesn't make it well known. The way I would look at it is that because this is disputable, it needs to be really funny to be passable, and would require some advanced writing techniques in order to subtly get readers familiar with the concept. I've been writing for a while, and I don't think I could do that. That's why I'm saying this is probably a no-go per CM. ~Minitrue Sir SysRq! Talk! - CM = Codeine's Mum. It's basically a quick way to tell if your article is vanity. (Codeine is one of the admins here.) If you think Codeine's Mum has heard of what you're writing about, then go for it. If not, then you need to do a bit of research. MrN has already found its Wikipedia article, and you could also see how many hits you get on Google and such. But in my opinion, not enough users here will know what that game is to find your article funny. I've never heard of that game, so I didn't get it. Try writing about something that you think any random reader would understand. This isn't ED, after all. ~Minitrue Sir SysRq! Talk! - Hea, yea, it's almost sorted now, just waiting to clear a few things up. It's tricky with the insurance as finding out the "market rate" is a bit tricky. I had a look at both your new articles. They look good. Don't forget to add some links into the second though! Also... Make sure that you put links to your articles into other articles related to the subject. That's actually probably one of the most important things to do generally. If it's not linked to from elsewhere, it's less likely to be found, read and possibly edited by someone else. That after all (well for me anyway) is one of the most rewarding aspects of Uncyc. It's cool when you write something, and someone else likes it enough to make the effort to improve your work. Anyway, hope you are enjoying your editing still, I'm on the lookout for a new article idea myself actually... MrN 18:17, May 1

Really? You think the "Lord John Baloney" thing is better? Or did you revert it just to let it die its inevitable death?
I just thought the concept of a disambiguation page on the least likely possible title was kind of amusing, and it seemed obvious to me that what's there right now is less amusing than.. anything. --Hyperbole 20:07, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, it was not the greatest page in the world, but it was at least vaguely related to what it should have been about! We do try to keep articles loosely about what they should be. Maybe this article will die, maybe someone (perhaps the author) will work on it some more. Changing the article in the way you did is not helping in my view. If you want to try to get what you did kept, try creating it as a new article? MrN 20:15, May 1
