same i use ask as my default search engine and it wouldn't load the site so i typed it in on comcast's search bar and it came up but woudln't let me log in so i finally typed it in the address bar with like .org on the end and then i finally got logged in but it was a bitch --StonedJeff 00:33, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

That actually happened some time yesterday on my side for a few moments. Apparently someone didn't pay the bandwidth bill or something and the upstream traffic from the server simply went belly side up. They probably moved Uncyclopedia to a new address, deleted uncyclopedia.org, and made it a redirect to uncyclopedia.wikia.com. The only thing that would be worse is being changed to Monobook by the Head Honchoes of Wikia.

Someone on #Uncyclopedia said that to be an effective parody then it needs to use MediaWiki. So that'll never happen... S-984 00:18, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

They said Monobook, not MediaWiki. Technically, all of Wikia uses MediaWiki with Wikia's own custom skin, which I think is named Monaco. Monobook and Monaco are skins for MediaWiki, while MediaWiki is the software used for the wikis. --Sir Starnestommy (Talk • Contribs • CUN) 04:29, Mar. 15, 2009
