help deleting images[edit source]
please delete this img i uploaded as i have already uploaded and linked to another version of the image. this img is now useless. i did not know that uploaders aren't allowed to delete images. thanks. -- mowgli 12:13, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Righto. Done and done. Might I also inform you that, despite there being no problem what so ever with your current approach, you may request deletion of redundant images on QuickVFD? I mean, really, no problem with what you did. But should I not be active or so, that's always a safe bet to get noticed sooner or later. :D --~ sin($) tan(€) 12:20, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Big Bro USA[edit source]
BTW you know I didn't do that, I was just commenting to the guy who did? Been working kinda hard to get a good rep and it'd be a shame to get dinged for nothin'--Shandon 18:23, 31 July 2006 (UTC) Also, thank you for the comments & vote for NOTM.
- Oh, hah! That wasn't aimed at you... Sorry for the confusion... It's just that Mxviii or whatever his name is and I haven't been on the best of terms with eachother... Well, at least he thinks I hate him, when I don't. So yeah... I thought I'd clear things up for him... Once again, sorry for the confusion.
- Oh, and as for the comments and votes: heh, no problem. Was nothing but honesty as well... ^_^ --~ sin($) tan(€) 19:01, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
This is starting to feel like harrassment......[edit source]
O.K. so, MoneySign, you've deleted both You_clicked_YES and You clicked No but not HowTo: Hide a Dead Hooker, of which they were (I think obviously, even if arrived at independantly - see links on said pages) a part. I was probably going to further edit the You_clicked_YES one, but not the other (at least not signifigantly) - I hadn't got the 'under construction' sign on either, though, as I thought this implicitly stated. Did you realise this? If so, I can only assume you have a problem with the page itself (since the device isn't out - Zork uses it), in which case just delete it and be done with it. Seriously, you don't have to go to all these lengths to tell me you don't like me - I get it, I do. --Some Fool 01:17, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Make them as subpages of the article HowTo: Hide a Dead Hooker/You_clicked_YES, HowTo: Hide a Dead Hooker/You_clicked_No and he will probably not delete them. Zork pages are not in the main namespace, they don't appear if you hit Randome page, so they don't bother as independent stubs, whole different story. If I'm wrong, sorry to interfere.---Asteroid B612 (aka Rataube) - Ñ 02:15, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Cool, I'll do that. Cheers. --Some Fool 02:40, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Like Rataube suggested, subpages are the best way. I didn't realise they were linked to some other article until it was too late, at which time apathy had set in. I would have restored them should one have requested it, but that didn't happen.
- As for not liking you: uhm... No... That's not the case at all. I'm sorry you feel that way, but I can assure you I give users a plathora of chances, depending on their errors. Do not fret, my little one, you are not on my black list. It's reserved for only those very special users. ^_^ -~ sin($) tan(€) 06:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I just started the article based on our conversation, The article link is above you, Do you like it? --SU182 02:40, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- And you also thought it might be a good idea to translate it to other languages with authomatic tranlantion software (babelfish probably), and post it on the foreign uncycs, eh? It will certenly be deleted in each language... the Spanish one is alredy gone.---Asteroid B612 (aka Rataube) - Ñ 00:08, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Gah![edit source]
I wasn't finished with Mr. Manning! I have work in 5! :D
- Uhm... That still doesn't explain who Mr. Manning is! And besides: if you're working on an article, either mark it with {{construction}}, or work on it in a sub-user page. I'll restore it and move it to [[User:Lassaris/sandbox]]. That way you'll have time to explain who the hell Manning is, and it won't bother me in the mean time...

I'm starting to think you're just randomly banning me from the IRC cause you don't like me. I was actually being relatively submissive, as opposed to how annoying I could be. Some contest. SYSOP wins contest[edit source]
Uncyclomania Edit wars.. was fixed! savethemooses, who is also, very conveniently a SYSOP, goes in and puts his name in the spot on the board, and then of course... closes the page off, which he can do. so HE WINS! kinda fixed don't ya think?
It's like all he had to do was wait till the end, put his name and then close it off, automatically winning.
What's the point of having the bloody contest, if a SYSOP is going to decides who wins anyways? --Mcmlxxviii 23:56, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

Article Question[edit source]
Hi $, if you have a moment, I would appreciate your thoughts on this...thx--Shandon 02:18, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- well goddamnit, you can't comment on it. <ahem> What do you think of creating link to a list of the PLS judges? That would help me, because then I would not ask them to advise on work I'm going to submit. Thanks!--Shandon 00:30, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Heh... I actually completely forgot about this message... I was either really really busy, or I was going to bed, and so decided to postpone.
- As for the PLS thing: I'm not on the panel of judges... Which makes me a potential rival. Which makes my advice a potential trojan horse. ^_^
- But seriously, now... You shouldn't ask people to help with your competition entries. PLS stand for Personal Literary Strength[1], and so using other people's advice for PLS is going against its very essence.
- Good luck, in any case. --~ sin($) tan(€) 00:55, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Edit conflict yeah! Well, I'm going to go sulk in a corner. I have been asked for my opinion on stuff by others. So maybe a warning on the PLS page is in order? (OK, your adjusting the PLS page made me think you were a judge. Dredd.)--Shandon 01:00, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, nah... But I wrote the guidelines for Best Illustrated Article when we launched the competition in April. And because it was the first time, I really didn't know what to expect from the participants (as in would they know what we're looking for, or will I have to rummage through a lot of trash). Result: overly explained guidelines that scare users away from trying. --~ sin($) tan(€) 01:10, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
It's Done[edit source]
Whaddaya Think? I had to rush it a little to finish it before buggering off for a months' vacation. . . Don't think it suffered too badly. ••••• I my cat! 05:11, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sweet jesus with artificial coloring!!!! That's one he-he-hell of a long article you've got there, buddy! Uhm... Seeing as I don't really do the ready-weady thing too often, I think I'll have to use your vacation to actually get through it... Man, that's a long article!! I salute you, good sir, in any case. 'Cause from what I read before, it was written in a good style and had a very decent humor level.
- Also, if you want, I'll put in on my watchlist as to keep an eye on it from any crap edits (those thing are easy to pick out with difference-views). By "crap edits", I mean people that happen to stumble upon your page and think "lol, the title reminds me of my ex. i'll put her name on here and i'll be so cool when i show it to all my friends, lol"; or "penispenispenis"; or something equally retarded... But, of course, if you think to yourself "MAN, THAT WOULD RULE!! Hell, I'll put that penis on there right now!!!"; or if you'll check it once in a while during your bugger-time anyway, and thus rendering my offer quite redundant; or if my suggestion is redundant because you'll be keeping an eye on it whilst you're buggering off, then do tell.

If you would be so kind as to keep an eye on things, that'd be cool: I was dreading what I'd come back to in September. Hello, MoneySign[edit source]
Hello, my good friend administrator. This is the banned user Flameviper. Yes, I know. But I'm leaving Uncyclopedia. I had considered it before, editing under a different account. But it never really had the same flair to it. So I come to you to say that I will not be coming back for quite some time, if at all.
I am writing this to ask of you one thing: To delete my images that I have uploaded. Yes, I know it would be a pain in the ass...I'm really sorry. I could just give them to you as a list if you'd like. Please respond to me and don't remove this comment.
Thanks, Flamey Viper 18:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Update: I put them all in Category:Flameviper Images...
- Oh, hello there, Mister Bannedviper. I will do you the honour of deleting most of your images, but I refuse to remove those located on an article in the main space, for hopefully obvious reasons. --~ sin($) tan(€) 16:45, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Wee update from me as well now... Here's a list of images that you don't want to exist, but do (get it?):
- Image:3SSWORD.PNG, Image:4SSWORD.PNG, Image:5SSWORD.PNG, Image:6SSWORD.PNG, Image:Aybabtu.gif, Image:CircleSword.PNG, Image:Pape.PNG, Image:Quarterpult.PNG, Image:SWASII1.PNG, Image:SWASII2.PNG, Image:SWASII3.PNG, Image:SheepDrop.PNG, Image:Sporksaber.PNG, Image:Sword-E-Nuke.PNG, Image:Sword2.gif, Image:TMSSWORD.PNG, Image:TTSS.PNG, Image:ToxicGloves.PNG
- So apparently the deleted ones weren't "most of them", as I stated before... Sorry, 'bout that. --~ sin($) tan(€) 16:57, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, at least someone tried. Thanks for not going berserk on my ass and banning me for no reason. Flamey Viper 14:40, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- Trust me, I have other things in this place to go bezerk over... ~ ~ sin($) tan(€) 17:12, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well...Somehow the fire of Uncyclopedia was kindled to a slow ember inside me. Say I wanted to return? Flamey Viper 20:35, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry[edit source]
Sorry I lost my cool. Not that I had any to begin with. I'll try harder to behave. Again, sorry. --Premier Tom MayfairBabelContribF@H 04:11, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Heh... That's ok... But consider this your second and thus final warning (first one was our little "run-in" when you started contributing).
- Also, a little something for you to keep in mind: when someone leaves a message on your talk page, they are very likely watching the page for a reply. It's also not because they don't reply immediately that they didn't take notice... Sometimes they just don't feel like replying, or they find there's no further reaction necessary.
- Mkay? ^_^ --~ sin($) tan(€) 16:44, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- What are you saying about the watch option? You lost me. I don't remember being paranoid that I was being silently watched and not being replied to. I may do a lot of little edits but usually the more recent the edit, the more likely it is to fix something. The new ones are when people should be worried. Have a nice day:D.
- --Premier Tom MayfairBabelContribF@H 04:11, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Errr... I said nothing at all about being paranoid, first of all. I just meant that it would have been better if you had replied on your talk page (where I left the message), rather than fragmentate the conversation like it is now. Should I, for example, require to reference to this conversation at some point, I'll be all like "Oh... uhm... hmmm... errr... geee... Why did he apologize?" --~ sin($) tan(€) 17:41, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, I can see you're not yet fully aware of how things work. And that, my good man, is why you should seek help before applying the error. There are numorous ways of testing things (the sandbox, your own personal sandbox, the preview button,
voting pagesother stuff, etc.), and you, dear soul, have utilized none. Anyways, yeah... I should have the whole timestamp thing covered now... Check the differences out between the revisions and learn. (Though note that it was Sir Cornbread who added the first set of small-tags) --~ sin($) tan(€) 04:57, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
PLS Judges[edit source]
Just thought you'd be in the know as to who the PLS jusges are going to be. I'm just wondering whos sense of humor my article will need to relate to. Is it just admins, or are some trusted members judges too? Thanks, -- Sir C Holla | CUN 04:49, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Uhm... I don't see how that should make any difference what so ever, to be honest... Do you think admins have a totally different sense of humour than the picked-at-random Uncyclopedian? Heh, despite all evidence pointing to "yes", I must inform you that we're no different in our opinions when it comes to articles and their quality. However, I will do you this little favour and tell you that indeed, not only admins, but "trusted" members make up the panel of judges. No details as to who is on the panel, though. For legal reasons, you understand? --~ sin($) tan(€) 05:02, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
2 flye boyz[edit source]
Hello,you deleted my article 2 flye boyz. I come from New Zealand and they were actually a group in the late 1980's. I dont care that you deleted, I was just wondering if their was any way to get a copy of it.
- Ok, first some things you ought to know... First of all, I'd prefer it if you'd sign your messages... Makes it easier for me to help you. One signs by placing 4 tildes (
~~~~
). which results in your nickname (as defined in your preferences) and a timestamp. Secondly, I'd also really love it if you gave your new message-topics an equally new message header... For this one, I've now chosen [[2 fly boys}}. And lastly, what I'd like you to know, is that apperently your article was one of the many victims of Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week, so don't worry about not being given a fair chance or somethng with an NRV-tag (I know you didn't say that, I'm just explaining stuff). - Now then, as for a copy of the article: Sure, but there's no article history (so you only have one revision, namely the last one before its timely death). Check it! ~ ~ sin($) tan(€) 17:10, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Fisher price thingy[edit source]
Hey Sir Moneysign, the fisher price article is about to get its turn, soo, what's it gonna be? In the talk page we got a +5 pro original-with-link,.. so I guess that means that's where public opinion's at (if you count that as swaying enough...) --Gubby 01:26, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Uhm... Featured article is tonight. I thought Rcmurphy was back to do these things, but it seems he hasn't done the whole Featured image one... Ugh... And I don't want to do those anymore... :( --~ sin($) tan(€) 16:17, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry! I'm back now and I'll resume the featured stuff tonight. In fact I was going to update stuff last night but my power went out. No kidding. —rc (t) 18:54, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- You didn't answer the actual question! I mean, I could obviously wait and see, but the reason I asked was so that I could draw attention to the fact we have a +5 vote saying "do the controversial thingy with fisher price and a link to the retrospective", and then have a chance to argue with you if you came up with an answer I didn't like. You're doing a great job at banning multiple people for infinity. Or so Rcmurphy tells me.--User:Tom mayfair/Sig 20:52, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I banned an unknown number of people for 6 months, actually. And that'll probably change into like 2-3 weeks, because it was an AOL range block, and those things tend do nasty things to good people. But hey, at least I got it all in one clean swoop, as opposed to RC's little one-by-one escapade. ^_^ ~ ~ sin($) tan(€) 21:06, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- You actually made that template for the occasion?? You know, I should just move it on over to your user space and let you fix all those little talk pages you placed it on....
- But in any case, yeah... congrats 'n all that. And I don't go to that danged Reefer Desk, because you lot give me enough stress-related hair loss as it is! --~ sin($) tan(€) 07:58, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Of course I made it just for this occasion. It's the first time I've received...anything. You could move the template if you wanted to, but I wouldn't fix it. Instead I'd ask you for help on fixing it (it being the problem that you created just so I'd ask you for help fixing the that problem you created. Kind of a geek munchausen-by-proxy). As a user, it's my job to cause baldness in admins. Also, it's not the stress that's causing the baldness, it's the head vs desk that causing it. My tip to you: buy a softer desk. It's worked wonders for me in my job as office drone. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 09:13, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- I wouldn't help you correct danged thing (other than mentioning that one can link to sub user pages as if they were templates by following the example code
{{User:Username/Subpage}}
)!! And on top of that, I'd make you receive the hard end of my banhammer (albeit for only a few minutes or so)!!! Ignore text between the brackets for full effect. - As for your supposed job as a pleb: haha! Joke's on you, boy! Many a hair lost can be attributated directly to actions performed by sysoptic dieties. In fact, I might go as far as to say they can cause the most intense sessions of disowning my scalpal fur. So ner ner. --~ sin($) tan(€) 11:07, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Ah! Template advice heard, understood and acknoledged. Also moot, as I find templates kind of irritating and don't plan on making anymore (as writing or 'shopping more fun that figuring out what does what in a template).
- Too bad they didn't tell you about the side effects of admining before you accepted the role, eh? There's always combovers...--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 14:07, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Templates are a bitch to get at first... And then, when you think you have them pretty much figured out, they throw new Mediawiki version in your face... Not that you actually did have 'em figured out to begin with... The slimy little devils...
- And yeah, no, maybe... I dunno... Maybe I shouldn't fret so much. I'm sure that none of the sysops have ill-intentions for Uncyclopedia and that the real cause of my keratinized filaments' decrement is none other than my over-protective self... Meh... Think I'll just shave my head and have the NRV-stamp tattooed onto it. ^_^ --~ sin($) tan(€) 14:56, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
As a user, it's my job to cause baldness in admins. Also, it's not the stress that's causing the baldness, it's the head vs desk that causing it. My tip to you: buy a softer desk. It's worked wonders for me in my job as office drone. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 09:13, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Template:NFSWImage[edit source]
Did it accidently.--Jtaylor1 07:39, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- What, you mean not click that little plus sign next to the edit button when you wanted to leave me a new message? Or did you create some kind of template that I should delete? --~ sin($) tan(€) 07:43, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
It was the NSFW Image Template I messed up by accident.--Jtaylor1 07:47, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, so you did not click that little plus sign next to the edit button when you wanted to leave me a new message on purpose? That's very mean of you... I specifically noted to all to click that little plus sign next to the edit button if you want to leave me a new message... :( I don't like you...
- And another thing: What the hell is Not For Safe Work? You mean like... not for whores who won't do a customer without a condom? --~ sin($) tan(€) 07:54, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, Sir.--Jtaylor1 08:18, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
WHY? Oh, WHY??[edit source]
(;_;) My feelings are hurt. I thought we were buds. Where did we go wrong moneysign? What came between us?--Gubby 18:29, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Awwww, you have feelings? I... I didn't realize... :( Is there anything I can do to make it up to you? Anything at all? Could you ever find within the bright, warm realms of your gentle heart some way to forgive me...?
- Ooo, I know! I could ban you again, only for like.... a year or something! That would be cool!! \m/
- Heh, nah, I'm just yanking yer chain... The reason I banned you was because you removed a VFH-nomination, when the rules state that only admins (who pay attention to that sort of thing) are allowed to archive/remove failed noms. Does missing this rule warrant a 1 day ban? Not necessarily. But because you appear to have little respect for maintanance-figures (as demonstrated by your popular HowTo: article), I thought I'd serve you memory-stickler.
- But not to worry, little one... I don't intend on keeping a close eye on you and I won't start/continue banning you for unfair periods of time... It was a one-off action to teach you a valuable lesson: jelly-fish do NOT make for good kissing practice! --~ sin($) tan(€) 18:47, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- You.. you identify with Wikipedia maitenence figures? This is fraternizing with the enemy!
PS the thing I deleted... well, you saw it!--Gubby 22:44, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Where have you been?[edit source]
I miss your sarcasm, bitterness, and warmth. I miss YOU! Well, sort of... I've noticed you haven't been around lately. Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 21:03, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've not been too active, but I have been around... Observing you all and your little do-thingies... Wish I could say the same for you, though... You seem to have some kind of horsy thingy on that renders you blind to stuff happening next to you... (note: referring to only one thing, really... Don't actually think it's a general thing...) ~ ~ sin($) tan(€) 21:27, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- Anyways, yeah... No problem, I guess... ~ ~ sin($) tan(€) 10:52, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
Well I hope to know who are they in the two photos in your Breastfeeding article.. Thanks in advance --219.77.116.57 17:49, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- The first one (the one without any part of the face visible) is an American actrice who uses the performance name Noa Deyer (did a cameo in Clueless (1995)); whereas the second one (with the black hair) is a Jugoslavian model called Bea Tchmemait. ~ sin($) tan(€) 19:25, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply, but I can't find them in yahoo nor google, well...
Secret Project[edit source]
Hey man, sorry bout being largely absent. I was out of town over the weekend of Sept29-Oct1 and was sick all the following week (and still am sick). What would be best is for everybody involved to try and get together on irc for a directional meeting at some point. -- 15:09, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Lisa image[edit source]
Can you tell me where you found the image Image:Lisa simpson holding dildo.JPG. Thanks. Weri long wang 10:24, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm... I don't seem to remember how it came to be, but I'm not the one who found that image. I even see here in the deletion log that you were the first uploader... But then, after that, it seems to be User:Gfox22's work... What I THINK happened was that I was deleting a bunch of images (Gallery Fire Week), and then I noticed that there was an image missing, so I reuploaded one of the back ups... But you can't quote me on that... Like I said, not sure at all how it came to be... Sorry, mate. ~ sin($) tan(€) 18:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
IRC question[edit source]
Bonjour (or Goede Midach, don't know from which side you are from :) )
Remember that little debacle I had in the IRC? (re: /SHOW ALL MY PASSWORD) well, I changed it then, but I don't seem to recall it, anyway I can set a new one or restore the original? Thanks. And how are you doing btw, you're still mighty quiet...-- Brigadier Sir Mordillo GUN UotY WotM FP UotM AotM MI3 AnotM VFH +S 12:32, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
