bitch. lol, joking. Witty Guy bitch at me 23:54, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah.. Been meaning to ask you, buttwipe... What the hell was that supposed to mean? I suspect it was a bet between you and another toddler. Am I right? --~ sin($) tan(€) 19:44, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Can you kill Mcgrue.jpg for me? Don't kill Mcgrue.gif, that's the new version (see Image Talk:Mcgrue.gif for the explanation of this comedy of errors. I hope that we can still be friends...no, wait. That's the end of a different speech. My bad. Modusoperandi 19:35, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Will do...I'm keeping the panties.I'm stopping this now, before this gets creepy. Or, rather, creepyer. But I'm still keeping the panties. Modusoperandi 22:24, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help. Now that I finally have everything where it should be, can you kill Mcgrue.gif for me? Don't kill Mcgrue.jpg! I know my request is the opposite of what I asked for before, it's just that the only reason the jpg was replaced with a gif was because I did it during my lunch break at work. Work computers only have MSPaint and MSPaint doesn't o/p in jpg format. Again, thanks for the help, and you can have the panties back. Modusoperandi 03:44, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- and while you're at it please kill Blurrycrappic. I made it but have since renounced it, as it sucks (and I'm still learning how to use MSPaint). Thanks again. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to start giving you my gonch. Modusoperandi 11:37, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think I'd want your gonch anywhere near me... Don't know what it is, but I think I got arrested for a similar practice back in '98. --~ sin($) tan(€) 11:48, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't know gonch was a nation specific term. Gonch, gotch, gaunch, gitch, ginch, gotches are Canadian slang for underwear (male). Now you know. Let us never speak of this again. Modusoperandi 12:17, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

You're a spoilsport, you know that?
There isn't any rule that says I can't create articles about the Carlow Crab, so blocking me and calling me a troll just cause i tried to create articles about him is unfair. And BTW, some people like the Carlow Crab, so just cause you don't like him doesn't mean you should be a jerk and delete every article about him. That article I was working on was gonna be good too if you and the other admins hadnt ruined it.
- Guess what, no one has ever cared about Carlow Crab on any of the wikis you've tried this on. --Splaka 05:26, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Not looking for trouble
I'm not looking for any trouble, but why did you delete my articles?PanjabiMC 05:15, 16 July 2006 (UTC)PanjabiMC
- Well, to be honest, it's probably still a bit of Forest Fire residue inside me... Made me all... Trigger-happy, I guess... But other than that: you seemed to have a recurring theme to you articles. And the fact that you created them all in rapid succession, caused my alarmbells to go off that you were more of a "stupid troll with a one-track mind", rather than "a genuine user who just happens to like cheese".
- However, you did seem to create a few useless redirects. I would advise you to read some of the links I put on your talk page, so you can understand what makes a good redirect, and what makes a "that's just silly, and not in a haha-kind of way" redirect.
- In conclusion: Awwww... I know you're not looking for trouble. I'm sorry if I came across as angry. It's just... You know... Been at it the sysopping too long, or something... If there's an article you really care to expand (like Cheeseball because that one wasn't too bad, just too short), just ask and I'll restore. ^_^ --~ sin($) tan(€) 05:25, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Sorry
Sorry about the "gay" stuff. I was just... you know... kind of mad when you... you know, deleted all my articles and what not. Made me all... Homophobic, I guess. Just so you know, I am not obsessed with Cheese. The articles like Cheeseball, the Bhagavad Cheesah, and the Cheesish Presidential Voting Ballot were all related to Chuck E. Cheese.PanjabiMC 06:38, 16 July 2006 (UTC)PanjabiMC
- Hmmmm... Fine... I'll give you another chance. Just remember not to do anything similar to that ever again, or I'll have to give you a double time-out.Good luck with your future edits, then. --~ sin($) tan(€) 06:53, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

So... can I re-post those articles? (it's okay if I can't)PanjabiMC 18:00, 16 July 2006 (UTC)PanjabiMC
- Errrrrrr... I'm not sure about all of them... Which ones would you like? --~ sin($) tan(€) 18:10, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Any of these: The Bhagavad-Cheesah, Cheeseball, or the Cheesish presidential voting ballot.User:PanjabiMC 21:56, 16 July 2006 (UTC)PanjabiMC
- Uhm... Fine... I guess you may... Just make sure they're long enough to stay. I won't delete them myself, but I won't prevent them from being deleted by other sysops either. --~ sin($) tan(€) 10:14, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for moving that for me can you help me by finding some pictures for it like the official presidentail pictures. Cab you also sugest some more names to add to the list. cheers.--Lucy-Marie 19:27, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- No problem... As for what you're asking... Uhm... Can I ask you why you would want such a thing? I mean, there's a perfectly fine Wikipedia out there. And look, it even has what you're trying to make: Wikipedia's article on Presidents of the United States
- Unless, of course, I've got it all wrong... :S --~ sin($) tan(€) 19:42, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Perfect Woman
Hey dude, just wanted to ask you what you thought of my solution over the "perfect woman"-thing. The links work, but it doesn't redirect to Elisha Cuthbert, instead it links to a somewhat philosophical page over the subject of the "perfect woman"... I hope you like it and may be able to improve it. --Pilaf
- Well, despite my still thinking you have an unhealthy fascination with Elisha Cuthbert, I think you handled the situation very well. Big kudos for that. As for the quality of the article: it doesn't read very fluently. You might want to work on that. Perhaps add a bit more male chauvinism as well? In any case, you have my blessings.
- Oh, and one more thing... The Elisha Cuthbert article... Erm... It's really not that good an article, seeing as you took wikipedia stuff and just switched some words or sentences... Those hardly ever work out good. I'd consider a rewrite, if I were you. --~ sin($) tan(€) 10:21, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Actually, the personal life was mostly written from scratch. The career overview was copied, and had boring tags around it, but someone removed it. Anyway, no article has to be perfect. It's a wiki, so feel free to improve wherever you see fit. --Pilaf
- Boring tags aren't an excuse for it to be badly written, though. And sorry, didn't notice the Personal life" section. Didn't read it all, see. As for the improving... Well, leaving aside the fact that my writing skills are as crap as a monkey on laxatives, rewrites are best done by people who know something about the subject. I have heardly ever heard of Alisha Coltheart, or whatever her name is... --~ sin($) tan(€) 15:29, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

"Twist Ending" on VFP
- Against. Maybe it's because I don't get it, or maybe it's because it's too big right now and will be too small when it reaches the frontpage... Who knows? --Sir Mon€¥$ignSTFU F@H|PLS|NS 17:19, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- If you voted "agin" because it would be too small (illegible?) on the front page: I made the text/pic specifically so that, on the tiny chance that it didn't get horribly shot down in flamey horrible flames (note to self: buy thesaurus), it would still be at least as legible as Thermopylae is when it appears there. At 360px the text is still legible and gump/ghost don't disappear. I can't, however, do anything about it if you voted "agin" because don't you get get it. My point was that Shyamalan movies are all the same. They follow the same arc: the first 2/3rds of the film drag you in (or not) with interesting, well acted characters. Then near the end there's twist and suddenly you realize it's too late to get your ten bucks back...if that needs to be explained I must've failed badly somewhere...
- Sigh, I'll get it right, someday. The sun, in fact, will come up tomorrow...run, I'm breaking out into Annie! Modusoperandi 20:02, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
... My god... You're not taking this well at all, are you? I'm sorry, bub, but it defo doesn't radiate humor. Don't fuss about "getting it right some day"... Just let it happen. I, for one, have never nominated any of my own works, and now look at me: I've had two images featured! And one of them even has the highest score on UN:PFP! ^_^ So, what I mean is basicly don't try to force anything... Credit will be given where credit is due. --~ sin($) tan(€) 20:15, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Disregard transmission. Mostly I'm just really bored. Blame my agitation on cabin fever. My roommate left on vacation and her giant dog promptly got the squirts. You know, funny thing is, I knew you were male, too. I think the name MoneySign just reminds me of Moneypenny from Bond movies. My bad. It makes me smile that you took time to re-read my deleted article though. Mrthejazz 18:08, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Haha! I'm vain like that sometimes... An article inspired by my Forest Fire Week reason for deletion! WOW! But, for the record, it's a lyric from one of Muse's latest album-tracks. --~ sin($) tan(€) 18:13, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

- After you're done actually reading the stuff linked to in your first and second welcome, you should know that if you create an article that's crap and/or short, you should tag it with {{construction}}. That way, admins' lightning-reflexes won't tell them to delete the mofos right there and then. Instead, they'll give the mofos about 7 days before even thinking about deleting them. Raymond Stereo
I made the "Raymond Stereo" article that you added an NRV tag to. The joke is from an Internet meme known mostly to wrestling fans, where a guy refers to the former WWE world heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio (damn you, King Booker!) as "Raymond Stereo." In fact, I showed the article to some online friends, and they loved it. So I believe that the article is not at all deserving of an NRV tag.
Remember, just because you don't get the joke doesn't mean that the article has no redeeming value.– Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.245.173.222 (talk • contribs)
- Just for the "record", NRV isn't used to say this article should be deleted, its there for the articles that have a chance to grow into something worthwhile, and to give contributors seven days grace to achieve that. Articles that are truly without value are just deleted out of hand. Get writing..... -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
- Shut up, Mhaille. And thank you for your fine reply. :D
- As for your article... Believe it or not, I did try to do some research on the matter. And like you mentioned, I mostly got wrestling stuff. Not being a wrestling-fan myself, I glanced over your article and found very little wrestling references other than "heavy weight" stuff. Clicking on a few suspicious google-links, I figured it was either vanity of the unallowable kind, or it was something I wouldn't understand. And so I gave you the benefit of the doubt and just NRV'd it. (that's a good thing)
- So, yeah... Like Dr. Mhaille said, the tag doesn't mean the patient is infected with Crapitis, but rather that it has a shortage of certain vitamins and minerals. Knowing what I do now, I can safely diagnose that the patient has an acute case of sizemia and is a chronic sufferer of formathritis (symtons being a pale and boring complexion). I'm going to prescribe AddTent 50mg (this'll add a little bit of content) and BuenoFormato (experimental drug from Mexico that should give the patient a more pleasant appearance). Next! --~ sin($) tan(€) 18:33, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Care to offer a suggestion or three?
I've been pondering an article for awhile now, and got around to actually outlining some of it, and even filling in some bits. If you'd care to offer any comments/suggestions/zany ideas, it'd probably help the puir wee beastie. Thx, Tooltroll 03:40, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- And this is your first article? Hmmmm... Wow... Not bad... Not bad at all... In fact, it's pretty frickin' great.
- I'd offer more than just that comment if it wasn't for the fact my is currently experiencing technical dificulties. But as soon as that's been fixed (they said on the phone they'd be here by noon, but you know how that goes), I'll get back to you on the matter. That is to say if I don't forget... Which I'll try not to. Unless I forget that too... --~ sin($) tan(€) 07:42, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Heh. You forgot, didn't you? ••••• I my cat! 20:47, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- You bet your cute ass I forgot! Sorry 'bout that... I've been doing so many things lately, that there were bound to be a few slip-ups... Maybe you should try joining the chat once in a while and kick me in the face so I won't forget as easily. Oh, or have you considered Pee Review? That place was made for people with questions like you... Though I'm not sure how it does in actually providing constructive critisism or something, as I never go there... But I'm in the chat all the time... :D --~ sin($) tan(€) 20:59, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Chat, eh? Hmmm. I could waste huge amounts of time in there. I'll pop in once in a while, but must. . . control. . . urges. I've considered Pee Review, but I don't think it's quite ready for that: I'd like to have the skeleton fleshed out a little. Besides, I've read your stuff, and we seem to have similar sensibilities, so your suggestions would probably be more in line with the spirit of the thing, than random others. But I will do the chat thing. Gotta go to work now. . . ••••• I my cat! 23:01, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Why not?
Was it that bad? What was wrong with Tap?
--~~tom_mayfair
- Heh, not really that bad... I was just being... somewhat agitated by the fact you boldified every single frickin' occurence of "tap", "tapping" and "tapped". Especially since I recommended you do something about that on the article's discussion page.
And fact that you signed an article and not your post here... Well, that doesn't do you any favours...Try signing with 4 tildes (~~~~
)You see, one needn't sign one's edits in an article because the histroy does that for you. It keeps a record of who did what. Signing it is simply attention whoring, really (though I'm sure that wasn't you intention). Signing your posts on the forum or on talk pages, however, is preferred because they are for discussion purposes and so it wouldn't be practical to have to go over the entire history to see who said what. --~ sin($) tan(€) 18:13, 25 July 2006 (UTC) - P.S.:Have you read the beginner's guide?

- Sweet bajesus, that's excellent!! Only... A bit short... Can you put a {{construction}} tag on it instead of the stub thing, and like... expand it? Doesn't have to be that much... Just.. You know... Like another paragraph... Perhaps another section? --~ sin($) tan(€) 21:00, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Sure I will do that as soon as I come up with something.
Okay, I've started another seciton but it is incomplete, however as my muse comes to me I will add more to it.– Preceding unsigned comment added by Turbolover (talk • contribs)
- Excellent... Just watch out for excess use of memes, and an abundance of ED -humor... Oh, and also be sure to sign your posts on talk pages and such, simply by adding 4 tildes (

). ^_^ --~ sin($) tan(€) 22:55, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
What do you mean by meme's and ED humor? There is not one iota of Erectile Dysfunction humor in the article, but if you mention it, i suppose it must be a big problem on this site. Also I was trying to add the big {{unchristianity}}to it without it screwing up the alignment of my picture. Is there any way to align it to the left or the thumbnail of my picture to the left so they do not conflic? Also, is it complete enough for me to take off the construction tag? Turbolover 23:51, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- So many questions... Ok... Let's see here...
- Memes are things that have been over-done to a point they're not funny anymore. Examples of such are including Grues, Chuck Norris and/or Oscar Wilde as a significant contributor to the subject at hand (that is not to say you shouldn't add an Oscar Wilde quote, though... That even is encouraged).
- ED humor (ED being an acronym for Encyclopedia Dramatica) is kind of like potty humor with a strong hint of vulgarity. This is because ED (a real wiki) has the famous goatse picture on a lot of pages (even on policy pages). One type of ED humor would be to use a plathory of swear words and politically incorrect terms. For example: That fucking nigger kicked that shit-filled faggot in the ass so hard, his rat-infested foot got stuck!
- To align an image to the left, you simply follow this general example:
- It's still a bit on the short side, but I guess you can replace the construction tag with the stub tag again. I won't touch it.
- There we go. Hope that tells you all you wanted to know. However, I'm sure most of this information could have been learned from the beginner's guide, which is linked to on your talk page... Please do give it a read, if only a quick browse... --~ sin($) tan(€) 00:24, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for the helpful information. I understand I could have looked on the help page which I did but I guess I missed it and that is partly why I asked you. (Mainly I have fallen madly in love with you since you are paying attention to me and want to have your babies.. j/k). One more question though, is it funny and not stupid or somehwere bordering inbetween? Any suggestions on refinement?

- No problem, it's all in a day's work.
- As for the quality of the article... Hmmmz... To be frankfully honest, I'm not liking it... There are some bits on bobs that aren't bad, but I think the biggest mistake you made was your angle. See, your main article bit speaks mostly about how it's not "King of the jews", but "King of the shrews". I think a better approach would have been to just not mention "King of the jews" and write it as if it were the only truth.
- Leaving that aside, here are the things I'm not liking most of all in your article:
- The kitten huffing reference due to it being a meme.
- That in any thinking region = nowhere was kind of a groaner... Not very strong, humor-wise.
- The AIDS and homosexual blood bit due to it being ED-humor.
- "Farted the Red Sea" is a bit of a weak play of words, not to mention farting being kind of childish humor to begin with... And adding Greenday to that didn't help.
- I know that wasn't the response you were hoping for, and sorry if I somewhat dented your confidence, but I feel I have to be honest. But as to not deminish your hoped entirely, I'll tell you the aspects I did like:
- Calling Jesus as being a shrew rather than being hook nozed (shrews seem to have somewhat hooked noses themselves). I'd suggest changing the rest in this trend. Something like "Jesus was actually a shrew, and not the hairy, hook nozed little rodent that the bible describes him as being", only better.
- The claim of shrews being an very advanced race.
- Fact that you brought in Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew", though it can be applied better. (perhaps describing it as a play about Jesus' struggle).
- There... I think I'm done with giving out crappy advice for now... Once again sorry if I disappointed you... But whatever doesn't kill you, can only make you stronger. --~ sin($) tan(€) 02:40, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Hiya $, can you please check-see this & see if the rewrite is good enough to remove the NRV tag? Thx--Shandon 23:17, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Hey
I changed your "construction" template to "WIP" on my Santa Banta page thinking I had forgotten to put the "WIP" banner earlier but then i checked "history" and saw that you had gone "-WIP + Construction." What gives? Leave a message on my talk page if you need help. -- mowgli 20:15, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- If I need help? My good man, you're the one needing assistance here...
- Leaving aside the fact that WIP is being deprecated, you did not even apply the template correctly. 'Cause when you see a little
{{{1}}}
or something on a template, that usually means you've forgotten something. And in this case, you forgot to put a timestamp. The correct usage of the WIP-template would be as followed:{{WIP|~~~~~}}
- But now taking back into account that WIP will at sometime be removed, we believe it is best to discourage its use and encourage {{construction}}. Sure, it's more to type, but it'll save us from encountering timestampless WIP-usages, which would otherwise prompt further consumption of server-resources by having to check the history as to whether or not the WIP has expired. I'm sure you understand that as we're growing from our still delicate size, it is imperative that we make the fluency of our services a stable and reliable one.
- I shall now proceed to copy this message to your talk page. But please also learn that if you leave a message on one's talk page, it is assumed you will take notice of any reactions to it that would be placed on the page you posted it on. This allows whole conversations to stay together, thus making it easy to reference to them should that be desired.
- Thanks, and have a good one! --~ sin($) tan(€) 20:36, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- so i was right after all. you do need help. :)
- thanks for showing me the correct discussion protocol here. i was going by previous orkut experience. this piece of info. may be added to the Beginner's Guide?
- thanks, I did not know WIP was being discouraged. I suppose you learn these things by just moving around - i'm still a newbie and perhaps will always be one.
- thanks for showing me the "timestamp" error. so that's what 1 was all about. ok, now i know.
- i'll go over and check if you haven't revert reverted construction. if you haven't i will.
- speaking of encouraged/discouraged, i suppose it's a good idea to NOT start as an article as a stub and major edit later 'cos that way folks who regularly check new pages added will always miss your article. am i right?
- lastly, even if i fall in line with the above method of practice, i notice i cannot help editing the article some 20 - 30 times for small small typos I ALWAYS miss even after proofred the article before posting it. is that ok or do you think i need help? TIA -- mowgli 05:05, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, yes... But the doctors aren't too optomistic... They said it's a brain cload or something...
- Anyways... Let's go over your bullets.
- You are whole-heartedly welcome, good sir. As to the adding to the beginner's guide: I should agree with you on that, but I'm somewhat a believer in struggle is life's way of strengthening. Being told or shown these things actively will ensure a much more effective lesson than having read it in the manual. Don't you agree?
- You are whole-heartedly welcome, kind newbie. Life is toughening you up as we speak!
- You are whole-heartedly welcome, nice human. Yes, that was Templates 101 for you.
- You are whole-heartedly welco... Oh, guess not. And I suppose it is too late to spare you the trouble. See you in a bit!
- It is not a good idea, nor is it a bad idea. It is basicly just an idea. Different people have different preferred methods of creating an article. There are people who write it out in a wordprocessor first (format coding and all), and then simply copy/paste the result (possibly correcting some uncaught errors shortly there after). There are others who create a sub-user page where they can work on their article undisturbed by other users (it's your space, after all), yet has full access to wik-codes and resident templates. Then there are others who create the article like you did and build it up from there. Whatever suits you best is what you can call "a good idea". Just be sure to follow the rules and guidelines. Oh, and as for the "new pages added" thing... I doubt many people besides sysops check that page for actual new articles that are made. Most of them are too lazy and rely on the Recent Articles-box on the main page to do their bidding (note that these article-links are added by the users, not by the software, so you can add yours after you're pretty much done with it)
- You would be surprised how many "more experienced" users miss typos, even after proofreading. In fact, I'm starting to suspect the typos aren't there when save is pressed, but manifest themselves afterwards, thinking the coast is clear. In any case, don't overdue it. Preview button is your friend.
- There we go. Did that make sense? If not, must be that danged brain cloud again... And why am I reminded of vulcanoes? Meh, take care!! --~ sin($) tan(€) 05:58, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- so i was right after all. you do need help. :)
Sig
Not here to argue about striking the VFP votes, just about my sig. I have {SUBST:User:Sir Cornbread/sig} in preferences, and "raw sigs" checked. Isn't that how its supposed to be? -- Sir Cornbread The Great [SHOUT] [MUN] ~RAP(+16)!~ [GET IT FEATURED!] 05:43, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Were the orders not clear? Did someone spill his milk all over the code again?? *goes to check* --~ sin($) tan(€) 06:03, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Odd... I can still read it perfectly... Must be your eyes... Here we go:
- PUT THIS AS YOUR NICKNAME IN YOUR PREFERENCES:
{{SUBST:nosubst|User:Sir Cornbread/sig}}
- Hahaha! I'm just being a total jerk here... Just kidding, seriously... Allow me to explain... SUBST makes any template to which it is applied, copy its entire code to the page, thus rendering it very static (!= dynamic). This was thought by Mediawiki to be the very essence of signing. Static proof that you did sign at that time. However, we don't care about "essence". We want our edit-boxes to look clean! So we introduced the template {{nosubst}} to counter them terrorrist views! And that's why you should put the given code into you preferences. ^_^ --~ sin($) tan(€) 06:09, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- I see now...not too experienced w/ all this stuff. I make my templates from copying others & changing sizes and colors etc. Thanks for the help. I saw what u put, I just wasnt sure why. Thanks for explaining. This should look better eh? -- Sir C Holla | CUN 06:15, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- It almost makes me want to jump you and make babies... ^_^
- Oh, btw, hope you're not upset or anything about the VFP-thing... --~ sin($) tan(€) 06:23, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Eh, no worries...our votes cancelled out anyway, so its not like it makes any difference. I wasnt trying to argue with Prettiestpretty, just being a smart ass. As I've always said "Better to be a smart ass than a dumbass" :) -- Sir C Holla | CUN 06:28, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah... At first I wanted it to be just a joke (how banning the two of you from voting on that image made absolutely no difference), but then there were all these things to add to it, and so the joke got cloaded... Ah well... You should see a hint as to whom the ban was directed at most of all. ;) --~ sin($) tan(€) 06:41, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Why was Hot Chocolate deleted?
Why? i was just about to edit it...
--master5o1 08:55, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Didn't you see the reason for deletion? Because it was absolute cruft. It took off from an ED point of view and kept it up for the rest of its 3 lines... Call it a knee-jerk reaction. --~ sin($) tan(€) 08:57, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
You've done a bad thing. Naughty, Naughty!
You deleted the Image:Php logo.png used in the PHP article, citing it as "unused". I DON'T HAVE A BACKUP. I hope like hell you can undelete that, because you may have done irreparable damage to the article! Pay more attention before you go around deleting crap. --BubMark2 14:08, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Sorry I jumped on you like that. I was a bit peeved about the only copy of the pic being deleted. I'm cooled down a bit, but I would still like to know what ever possessed you to delete an image that was in use? Is there any way to get it back, or do I need to go create a new one? --BubMark2 14:57, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- If it hadn't been for Mhaille, you would now have been blocked for 3 months for that little spectacle. However, despite still having your image, I decided to make one myself that was infinite monkeys better than that piece of cruft you had a hissy-fit over. I hope you like it. In fact, you're going to like it or lump it. JUST for that little spectacle. --~ sin($) tan(€) 15:08, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Seems I was right the first time. Now I'm sorry I apologized.
- By all means, please ban me. I only created this account to find out what happened to the article. My old account has been long locked-out for unknown reasons. (Probably a system hiccup of some sort.) I have no idea who Mhaille is, but I can tell from your history that you seem to have a long-held practice of deleting first, thinking later. I sincerely hope that you're not a "fine example" of Uncyclopedia editors. Good day
, and good bye. --BubMark2 15:52, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

- Oh, and one more thing! I still think you're a jerk, and you responded exactly as I predicted you would respond to ANY request (which was what compounded my anger to begin with). i.e. You brushed off the user as unimportant. But I came across harsher than I had intended, and you didn't deserve that. I compounded your f**k up with my own f**k up, and for that I'm sorry. I still don't care if you ban me or not (especially since I don't believe that you actually have the image; or if you did, you just blew it away by uploading your humorless garbage), but I do have a duty to apologize to those I've wrongly offended.
- Yeah, I'm hopping mad. Especially since it takes two seconds to look at the *(explicitive deleted because this is a family site -- pssshh, yeah right! :P)* linked-by list to know if the file is actually in use or not. As amatuerish as the image may look (which was an intentional part of the humor), it was still creative time spent that you've wiped out. All I ask is that you be a bit more careful next time.
- As for the article, it's a complete write-off now. I was hoping to smooth out some of the long-term Slashdot damage (geez, these guys have childish senses of humor) and perhaps improve it, but it's just not worth bothering now. It should probably be rewritten. With any luck, maybe you'll find someone with a good sense of humor who can do a better job than I did.
- Again, I'm sorry I came across as harsh as I did. It was disrespectful, regardless of my feelings on the issue.
- BTW, I saw Mhaille's post. Mhaille, if you read this, thanks for your advice. I realize you were trying to help.
- (Oh, and I'm still mad. You may want to ban me for a few days before you brush me off again. I might decide it's better to write nasty-grams all over your "replacement" PHP logo.) --BubMark2 20:41, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- From this edit 'til this one your image had not been in use due to vandalism, which tells me 4 things. 1) Admins didn't do their job too well. 2) The image was listed on Special:Unused files during Galery fire week. 3) You apparently didn't care enough about your article to keep an eye on it for a LOOOONG time. And 4) You did NOT research before going off at me.
- Believe it or not, Bub, but I do my best to keep the site going at a normal, happy pace. Just like all sysops do, I'm sure. And what particularly gets on my tits, so to speak, is when users think it's best to come on my talk page and act all "holier than thou" and throw all kinds of shit at me. What do you want me to do then? Hmmm? Go "Hey, user, you're right. I'm a moron. I'm crap. I deserve all your true insults. Excuse me for a while whilst I go request my desysopping. That should be beneficial for the entire community"? Well sorry, but as stated, I know I do my best for the site, and, as blasé as it may sound, I'm not sure it would be beneficial for the site should I stop aiding to maintain it.
- As for why I refused to re-upload your image: your initial reaction. In fact, fact that you almost wrote an entire essay on how I should check stuff first, and how I reacted in the way you expected me to... Well, I still refuse to re-upload you logo. Maybe some day I'll change my mind when I come to see you made an honest mistake and you have learned from it. But up until now at least, I see nothing to support even the notion.
- The one I made is crap, yes. I kept in theme, I s'pose, with the one you had, only added a bit of "open source meets corporate evil" by using Wordart and clipart. If it discourages you from rewriting the article in its entirety, then frankly, you may not be fit for a wiki. Leaving aside the fact entirely that I made the logo, the point is really a joint project. Not being able to work with other users stuff comes across as simply wanting a place to show off your own work. Mind you, I'm sure that's just an impression and not really the case here. But you know... I'm just saying.
- In conclusion, I'm not going to ban you. You've sufficiently calmed down and even appologized for that. But should you not react (as in adjust your attitude) to this message, then ... well, then I will be able to make a conclusion as to what kind of user you really are.
- Sincerely, --~ sin($) tan(€) 01:16, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Yo yo you, I have rewritten this article entirely. (I really have to find better things to do in the middle of the night than fix other people's crap.) Good enough to -NRV? Thx--Shandon 10:55, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

a question
queries typed in the 'search box' do nottake you directly to the article and instead take you to a list of articles in which your searched word appears at the top of the list and it's the same word you typed in the "search box," down to the "case/capitalised". Even redirects don't seem to work (they do not throw up the article redirected-to as the first result). I compared it with Wikipedia Wikipedia seems to work just fine. Is it just me or is their a problem somewhere? TIA -- mowgli 13:31, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Uhm... Well... Depends... If you press <ENTER> or click on Go, and you've got the title right (down to the caps 'n stuff), then it will take you to the article. But if you press Search (or are on the search page and look for a term), then it'll give you search results... Of course... --~ sin($) tan(€) 13:48, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- i see what you mean. but a slight correction - it doesn't work the way you describe: a) take the case of Deli which has two redirects from Delhi & New Delhi. Now let's confine ourselves to the main page. Delhi + GO takes me to Deli. Fine. Delhi + ENTER takes me to a list ?! as does Delhi + SEARCH. Wikipedia works exactly they way YOU describe above. Uncyc. doesn't or isn't (working). am i mistaken? b) in Wikipedia, i never see case-sensitive redirects proclaimed as being being redirects on the page redirected to. I guess Wikipedia isn't case sensitive? I know Uncyclopedia IS case-senitive (see no reason why it should be tho.) and redirects are necessary to make searches for your article case-free. -- mowgli 14:18, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Odd... Delhi + ENTER takes me to Deli... Try going to the search page and have a look at the preferences... I had a look, but I really couldn't see anything being influencial... Might be wrong, I guess... As for Wikipedia... It actually does work with redirects... Are you sure you're not seeing them? I'm starting to suspect you might not be from this universe, but somehow your messages end up here. ;) --~ sin($) tan(€) 14:27, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
