I don't know, but we should. Wikipedia has a lot of lawyers to update these policies. See here. Same day I made a frivolous here but it took 13 months for a reply. JJP I know you want to edit it but protecting warning/block templates is not all that uncommon at Wikipedia (which we are kind of the same in in this regard). Oh and I forgot this. Because this will be used extremely heavily over the course of the next while, until we make a better spambot template, the protection should stay, Widely visible templates like this are generally template protected at Wikipedia even if not vandalized.     Gale5050, seriously, please try and understand, that does not constitute "persistent vandalism" on any wiki. I know you like wikibureaucracy, and requesting page protection is a form of participating in wikibureaucracy, but ideally we should have fewer pages protected, not more. This makes it more fun for everyone, especially new users, something we need more of right now. There are a few examples of pages that do require more protection, this is obviously not one of them.     In my opinion, any featured article should be ECP'ed. Especially one vandalized 3 times. While Kakun full protection them probably isn't a great decision, there is a reason why he does it, and ECP'ing all FAs would keep them in there feature worthy form, semi-protection won't.
