 Against. While I like the idea and the overall presentation, there are too many little things here. Comment. Abstain per Romartus. Nobody thinks much about this until they get pregnant. Then they worry like hell. Only a billion things have to go right to get a "normal" baby. I really feel sad for people with retarded kid. Too much of a pity to laugh about. - Comment. Worrying like hell doesn't take away the fact that this is funny. I have a 2 yr old. If I had read this two years ago, I would have found it funny, I promise you. In fact, because I have a small child, I think I find it funnier. Also, it's satire, and well written satire at that. Did people complain when Swift said, "Hey! Let's eat the poor!" Yes. - Comment. My mother almost died giving birth to a baby that came out mentally and physically retarded. He died about 5 hours later. It crushed her, and she almost died. And even I'm not voting against because of that.--HM (T)
