WJU Wiki

I must admit that the idea has crossed my mind before. Unfortunately, the half-dozen or so of us who were the primary architects of the universe as it exists here on Uncyclopedia have since graduated from WJU, making the tasking of liaisoning with relevant officials difficult. I'm sure you've probably gleaned that WJU is not a big school my any stretch of the imagination (about 1,200 undergrads), and I think you'd agree that there would have to be a pretty strong response from both the undergrads and the IT guys/administration for a WJU Wiki to be vibrant and not dead. Although Uncyclopedia's WJU articles are very popular with the regular Joes at the college, I can't say I'd be convinced that an entire wiki devoted to WJU would be anything more than the work of two or three people and unheard of or unread by everyone else. Also: I deleted that image because someone was uploading tubgirl/goatse porn several times in a row and I didn't notice the filename matched an old one (but I reuploaded the pic of lenin, which was the last admin upload to that filename).

Realised but need to check where it's linked to before hitting huff on images.

Not when it is tubgirl and in a serial vandalism spree and I am trying to hit delete without letting it load ^_^. We really need an indication in the upload log when it isn't a new file being uploaded.

As you wisely suggested, I'm going to try to remain involved around here but in a semi-retirement capacity. I'm not sure what that will look like yet, given my obsessive amounts of editing at times. I think that it means I will continue to disappear peridically, but not advertise it. That's probably what I should have done this time, but I needed to make a very clear break from it in order to avoid crawling back to the assembly line after a week or so. As a matter of fact, I do see a pattern forming!

And it's the same old predictable pattern I've seen far too often here, Elvis. Is this supposed to be Wikipedia? Instead of simply ending the conflict, quietly, neatly, and permanently, you escalate it. Why do you do that? I really wish someone would tell me... It isn't funny anymore, is it? In my opinion, it stopped being funny 10 months ago.

The only effective way to administer a community like this is to always take the high road, no matter how much you resent having to do it, no matter how much you want to continue "sticking it to" the problem user, and no matter how much that user deserves it. There will always, always be people who disagree with you, and escalating the conflict isn't going to change their minds - just the opposite, in fact. As odd as it feels to do this (I should be in your order, not the reverse), I owe you a large debt. First, there's all the work you did before I ever arrived to make this place as magnetic as it is. Awards and recognition probably turned this place from a fledgling startup to the booming operation it is today. Elvis,

I was recently going through Category:Articles to be merged and I ran across the article Darthvader which has been requested to be moved to Darth Vader. However, from what I can tell from the article, it seems to be a copy paste of Wikipedia's article on Adolph Hitler. I'm assuming this should be nominated for QVFD ? MadMax 04:51, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
