You've missed un petit détail - the poisson d'avril about la désencyclopédie holding a référendum to separate from us is not a parody of politics in France, but of politics in Québec. There have been two référenda (one in 1980 and another in 1995) in which 40% and 49% of québécois voted to separate from Canada. --Mario Dumont 21:38, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
