Hello, Yoinxxer Trar. You now exchange stuff at the UnCyc, the Yoinxx based store and take part of Top Chop, the Potatochopping coni-test. Or make a store of your own to make even more Yoinxx than usual. You can also buy stuff from the Ystore and preorder things for the Yhouse (Coming soon). --Sir General Minister G5 FIYC UPotM [Y] #21 F@H KUN 12:19, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Oops[edit source]
Yeah, sorry about the crap I put up recently. Too late I realized that the marco polo and hoth win/sibling pages fell under the catagory of "retarded and not remotely funny." I'll try not to do that in the future. And about the sibling page, I dont have a broth - well I do but he doesn't visit Uncyclopedia (or use the internet for that matter). I seriously dont know what I was on when I made that page. And I would love to join the DEV TEAM, with your blessing of course and provided I didn't screw up too much already with those godawful attempts at humor. Well have a nice day Gruekicker 22:20, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'll try to do you proud, but yeah spelling has always been my weak point in all my online ventures (which is kind of wierd since I'm a great speller IRL, or maybe they're all typos :/) Unfortunately, if it wasn't made apparent by my constantly changing IP addresses, I don't actually use my own computer (It's broken beyond all repair). I use the computer at my school and library, and they both don't allow .exe files. Since I know next to nothing about IRC, might I ask if there's a way to use IRC without the exe file? If not, I guess I'll need to wait till I make enough cash to buy a new computer (Probably will be around the Febuary-March time period, although this is just an estimate). Well, thanks again for letting me join the DEV TEAM, and long live GS! Gruekicker 15:41, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- By the way, do you want me to delete the Marco Polo page? I noticed it's still up Gruekicker 16:14, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, that sounds like a good idea to me! I use to do that when I first started playing, but now I only do that for suspicious (Read: Grue) related situations. Gruekicker 15:24, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Being The Death Page Specialist...[edit source]
...would be AWESOME! Thank you for bestowing upon me this honor! I'll make a template for it later. You can never have too much death (and despair). Gruekicker 21:02, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Heh, well I know it's not THAT big of a deal, but then again, every game at my school is blocked and flash doesnt work on library computers, so Grueslayer is basically my only source of computer related entertainment. Sure there's probably other, better games on the internet, but can you freely customize them and contribute to their greatness? Nope. Which reminds me, I still need to play The Abyss. Oh, and I'm gonna change the Grue Death Page Specialist template to a grue image. Hope thats ok. Gruekicker 04:08, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, back to the salt mines then! Gruekicker 15:29, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry it took me so long to reply, and the fact that I havn't edited Grueslayer lately. I've been sick with one heck of a cold, and getting on the computer was the last thing on my mind. I agree with you fully, I guess I just wanted to create a deep story and add some new concepts. But now I know that I need to repair and polish the existing easy mode content before I can even think about taking the plot anywhere (If at all). Once I reach the end of the easy mode plot and theres nothing else to fix/improve (Fat chance) then, only then, will I leave a message here saying so, and asking whether I can add (blank concept) to the plot. Have a good day. Gruekicker 15:55, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes, hello, mate. You don't know me, but I really had to drop you a line because...well, to be blunt, I've made several completely unauthorised edits to Grueslayer, and will most likely make more if I'm not put in a straight jacket and locked up. See, I couldn't find any details anywhere about asking permission first. So, my question is, do you mind me doing so? If so, how badly am I going to get beaten? And, if not...may I put that 'This user edits Grueslayer' userbox on my page? And perhaps...put my name on the credits?

Grueslayer[edit source]
Why is it that Grueslayer and Grueslayer PvP aren't complete? Examples for both follow:
Grueslayer[edit source]
Once you defeat Bryce and call for the fire to be put out, once you get to the dinner cart, the only option leads to you being eaten by a grue.
- Hm? That's not true, there must be some mistake; you get to the dinner cart, then you go into the room, then you put on the Britney Spears records, then you go down the stairs and you get to the boss fight. I might have made it a bit tricky, but it's definitley passable. BlueYonder - CONTACT
PvP[edit source]
You cannot fight Agent U, because there is no secret agent password.
EDian's battle's only option is to play the EuroiPod, which makes you lose.
At least a quarter of all fights either are uncompleted(which means they're unwinnable), or haven't been created at all.
GODDAMIT, MAN, ARE YOU DEAD?!![edit source]

More on Grueslayer[edit source]
This is the guy you messaged about creating the new pages on the medium difficulty path earlier. I have just made an account after hearing of your interest in my activities (if the IP is different, it is due to my typing this on a different computer). In response to your message earlier, I have been creating a new storyline off the Medium difficulty path that would involve time travel. The train ride and everything up to he crossroads in the pages I created are mainly there to weed out the abysmally stupid like the pre-jail pages in the Easy section would do. Though I don't have a storyline all planned out, I would eventually have it be an alternate path to the endgame of the Medium difficulty path. And yes, I would be honored to help with writing the rest of the game after the hiatus.User:Darth Moose/sig
Your return[edit source]
Since you've come back, I have a task for you. Can you help me finish 2012 II? If you need any help you can play the first game in the series, or you can ask me, Puppy, or Another n00b for troubleshooting and help. Cheers. -- Lollipop 14:09, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Plans for Grueslayer?[edit source]
Trar,
I recently came across a plan to huff most of the Grueslayer game and recreate everything just about from scratch. Is there any possible way to simply start a "Grueslayer II" or "Recreated Grueslayer" for this new project? It seems so wasteful to let all that work slide down the drain, especially since I spent so much of my time adding content to that game. If you have your heart set on starting over why don't you just let some other users like myself keep and maintain the old game, while you and your team start on a new one? I think this is a reasonable proposal. Let those who like the old game keep it, or at least, store it in some form or another.
The point of the game is to "have fun", not delete hundreds of pages (Which have taken painstaking years for various editors to put up) because grues are technically only supposed to appear after dark. Come now, you've practically reduced me to begging. If you simply create a new version of Grueslayer but still leave the old one intact, it'll save you and others the trouble of deleting all those pages, as well. --CEDA 19:13, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
- That plan was written up my me. I really don't want to create a whole new game just to make Grueslayer the gem I always wanted it to be. I'm afraid we're not going to be keeping most of the original content; it will be huffed as soon as I actually get around to it, which probably won't be soon. Got mountains of other stuff to do, see. I, and lots of others, have expressed disdain over the current state and content of Grueslayer, and we made a plan to...restart it if you will. If you really like the game the way it is (you're in a minority), then feel free to download all of the HTML files to your computer, or look through the Internet Archive, or make a new Grueslayer yourself.
- It's good that you like the game, though. Once we huff the current game, feel free to join the team in writing a new Grueslayer that is actually funny and enjoyable. (not that your edits are crap, but i haven't seen them, they're all going to get huffed anyway and they're probably actually quite good) Look, why don't you save your ideas and effort from the current Grueslayer while it's still here. Once we've rung out the old and rung in the new, feel free to pitch in with the stuff you saved before it was huffed. By the way, the entire plan is on the GS talk page, under the header "prepare the chest paddles". Read it bro.
- The reason we're going to do the plan is because we want to start over, see. (or at least I do) The current game was started about 5 years ago, and it was saddled with bad management and design decisions and sub-par writing. Most of which was my fault. I realize i'm almost never around, but that's because I have to walk to a library to get on the Internet, I have other things to do and i'm lazy. You, meanwhile, poured a lot of work (at least from what you're telling me) into the game without knowing that it would be started over (and that's not going to change). Try saving your best edits and ideas, and using them when I finally get around to starting over. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) 22:28, June 4, 2011 (UTC)
- Keep all the save games. Love those. -- 22:43, 4 June 2011
- We're probably not going to. Unless there's a real good idea in one of them that we could keep. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) 22:12, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
- Trar, I created 218 pages for Grueslayer. No kidding. It's in my contributions, and I just spent ten minutes counting it all. While at first I thought I could just save it and store it somewhere (As you suggested), after seeing all those pages I made I have decided it would take a lot more work just to salvage it, and even more work after that putting it back up into a new grueslayer game. Having thusly spent literally months on these grueslayer sub-projects, here is what I propose: All the pages I created will be placed in a User: CEDA category. Kindly inform all the editors who are going to huff the original game to specifically leave behind the ones in this category, and my hours of hard work will be saved. --CEDA 01:51, June 7, 2011 (UTC)
- Along with helping Grueslayer, i'm planning on making another game that has to do with being drunk and nightlife. It will be called "Night Life". CEDA, Trar, anyone can help out. -- 03:20, 7 June 2011
- Special:Export helps if you want to preserve things. I made an xml dump out of every page with a title containing 'grueslayer' and shoved it here, though, if you want a copy. ~ 04:31, 7 June 2011
- I don't think we need another Grueslayer. Are you sure you can't help Grueslayer itself when the time comes, with all the edits you made? We could put your stuff to good use. I REALLY think that making another game would not be the best option here. What we did with the main game was look through the entire game, cherry-picking good ideas and things like that worth saving and using again. Then I put the links in a document and discussed their merits with another editor. The only reason we haven't finished with this yet is because i'm STILL WITHOUT HOME INTERNET, and thus I have little time to devote to this, especially when the other editor in question lives 3 time zones away. What we should do with your edits is to look through them, and pick the ideas and things that are good and that we could use. I realize that with the current state of progress that would take ages, and I can't blame you for running off to make a whole different game in that time period. All i'm saying is that I do not think we need another Grueslayer.
- Keep all the save games. Love those. -- 22:43, 4 June 2011
- Also, when did you start making these pages? If it was after I started forming the revival plan or after I combed through the game, you honestly should have checked the talk page and saved your effort for the new game. If it was before I started, I can't blame you for trying to do what i've been trying to do. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) 18:45, June 10, 2011 (UTC)
- I made most of those pages, if not all of them, just a few months before you came up with the revival plan. I stick by what I said earlier: If I put them in a User: CEDA category and remove the Grueslayer tag, then I do not expect them to be deleted. When the new Grueslayer comes up, I can re-incorporate these pages into the game. Do you think that this is acceptable? --CEDA 14:28, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply, you know how it is. It looks like you're just going to stick for your guns, so you can just go ahead and swap the Grueslayer category on your pages for User:CEDA. We're not going to delete those if e don't see them in the category, but we(and by we I mean myself) cannot be expected to help with the transfer itself. As for incorporation in the new game, I'll look them over when the time comes and decide what exactly we should put in. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) 19:07, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

- It's been over a decade since I was involved with any of the games here. I don't remember anything about passcodes. If you're talking about Grueslayer, the game was moved to my userspace and that may have broken some links. Either that or that part of the game wasn't finished. One day I'll actually start making (and finish) a proper Grueslayer game, maybe soon since I'm currently not working. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) 19:48, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- I should also mention I came back out of nostalgia and to do a little dusting. I still have effectively no desire to actually return return. --Trar (talk|contribs|grueslayer) 14:35, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
