  1. Symbol for vote.svg For.They say every great comedian writes what they think is funny and just hopes the audience also thinks it's funny. Well, I don't know about the wide appeal of this story, but it's funny to me, dammit, so I'm nomming it.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 00:47, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
  2. For. Per what Brad said. The only question is whether or not he'll be back next year... —Unführer Guildy Ritter von Guildensternenstein 14:16, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

  9. And BOOM here comes a voter who puts a vote in the article and therefore votes for the Brett Favre. Do you know that Brett Favre is the best quarterback ever ever ever? Boom! You didn't know that. But now you know and the voter voted the vote! Kaboom! Fantastic job, Brett Favre and now the score is 9 to 5! Brett Favre! 1. Against. The only line that made me laugh was the last one. Just not enough laughs for a feature IMO. -OptyC Sucks! Icons-flag-us.png CUN00:18, 27 Jan
  2. Against. Failry mehpic in my opinion. It didn't make me really laugh, but I chuckled... twice. Solid article, but sorry, not a feature in my eyes. ~ Readmesoon 01:36, January 28, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Against Funny in parts, but not feature worthy, unless he does in the future kill himself--User:Claudius Prime Sir Claudius CUN VFH (carpe diem) 18:06, January 28, 2010 (UTC)
Huh? Can someone from illogicopedia come by and do-in a feature nom here? I wouldn't think so, but I'm tech. still a noob for a day or so, so what's with this? And on the Anne Hathaway nom I had an in-and-out blindside user vote "no" then run off, leaving a trail of damaged nom behind him. Fuckers, imnho. Anyway, is this a legit vote? Aleister in Chains 1:51 28 Jan. MMX
It should be, given I was active here a while ago. It's just that I've been gone for a while. But yeah, way back in the day I voted and wrote and yada yada yada. So I think this vote counts. ~ Readmesoon 02:07, January 28, 2010 (UTC)
Well, then come back home. Why go to the minors when you played in the majors? Steroids? Banned? Lose a bet? Come back to us, oh prodigal son, and then vote. Fucker. At least go give me a yes vote on the Anne Hathaway nom, balance your off-site karma. Is that you Clemmons? Cheers, Al still chained 2:28 28 Jan. MMX
OK, I've read your stuff and history here. The fact that you signed in under your new-home flag threw me. Maybe when you come to the big city you can use your account name here. So, vote counts as a full vote. Aleister in Wonderland 11:32 28 Jan. MMX

  5. Against. Bizarrely, I saw this football game - the only game I've seen in probably five years. So I get it. Thing is, there's not a lot of satire here. I mean, the joke is, "Brett Favre did something stupid and he should kill himself," or perhaps, "People are overreacting about the stupid thing Brett Favre did." And that's sort of more an assertion than a joke, I think. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 00:42, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • Comment. I see Favre looks just like Kemal Ataturk . Expect problems with your Turkish readers! Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:05, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
Easily explained. Favre is French, Choctow Indian, and Turkish. I think Ataturk was his grandfather on his mum's side, so the resemblence is uncanny, as is his lookalike in the War on Drugs article, where the photo first resided, yes. Al, still in chains 1:55 28 Jan. MMX
  • Comment I think this nom has run its course. The jokes on the page were best in the heat of the aftermath of the event, and as time goes by they lose their immediancy. It's one of those "you had to be there" articles, and this long after the game it no longer works like it did the next day. Thanks for the yes votes, appreciated, and for the constructive criticism as well. Aleister in Chains 1:18 2 Feb. MMX
  • Comment. It's a weirdness of mine, but I don't find diembowelment funny. But this seems to have references that might be quite funny but that I don't get because I'm a non-fan, hence my abstention. King of the Internet Alden Loveshade??? (royal court)  00:08, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
    • Disembowelment not funny? I don't follow that logic, and am puzzled. How is it not funny? All good writers have used the disembowelment before a cheering crowd of thousands of people who were your biggest fans just an hour before. Hemingway's spin on it was hilarious (bullfighting), as was Burrough's (both Edgar Rice and William). And who can forget Anais Nin's sidesplitting (literally) short disembowlement piece? The one-act David Mamet production? And, ah, the sweet memories, Kurt Vonnegut's namesake opus? Sigh, and Oh well. Aleister in Chains 00:43 3 Feb. MMX
