Uncyclopedia's Article on Its Article on Itself
“In Soviet Russia, Uncyclopedia's Article on Its Article on Itself Writes YOU!”
Uncyclopedia's Article on Its Article on Itself is considered by many to be a rather superfluous article, even by Uncyclopedia standards. It details the history of the writing and publication of the article which details the history of the writing and publication of the website on which both articles exist. Theoretical scientists have hypothesized that it is possible there are an infinite number of articles relating to Uncyclopedia, articles relating to other articles relating to Uncyclopedia, articles relating to articles relating to articles relating to Uncyclopedia, and so on, ad infinitum.
Uncyclopedia's Article on Its Article on Itself was originally written as an NBC sitcom pilot, but was passed over in favor of the television adaptation of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It eventually arrived in the hands of Uncyclopedia's creator Mel Gibson in 1997, ironically before either Uncyclopedia or Uncyclopedia's Article on Itself were published.
