Hey guys was just checking in and found this forum. The short story and probably to much information is that my oldest friend just attempted suicide after long battles of drug addiction. So I flew out with him out of state for advanced rehab. I am currently on a laptop I have minimal access to. I miss you guys all ( as gay as that may sound) and can't wait to come back. I will make a less than glorious reappearance sometime in late August or September. Sorry to suddenly abandon this place for a while, and neglect my few jobs around here, but what I am doing is very important to me and time consuming. So ya, that's about it. I am sad to hear of your friend attempting suicide. I lost a lot of my friends who had been addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and they killed themselves. I tried to be there for them, but they shut out almost everyone and then attempted suicide. One of my best friends died that way in 1999. Most of them were Generation-Xers like me, and we are called the suicide generation. I've attempted suicide myself in my life, but now I am learning better coping skills and am on the right kind of prescription medication. Learning Meditation and Mindfullness is helping me, but each person is different and needs to find a way to cope that helps them. Good luck. --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 02:45, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Strangely enough it was all over a girl he fell in love with who was actually a slut and he found out what she had been doing almost nightly. Kinda like that song by the Killers Mr. Brightside... To an extent I guess. Drugs were also naturally involved in the mess. And when I told him no girl is worth dying over my girlfriend slapped me because she was behind me :/ haha. Oh well...
