When nominating an image, the template Template:VFP should be added to the end of the entry using {{VFP}}. A featured article should have the template Template:ImageFP, using {{ImageFP}}.

DO NOT place multiple versions of an image in a single entry. Should the original nomination fail, nominate the revised version after it has been deleted.

Removal/archival of failed/expired candidates, as well as the decision on which have reached failure, must only be performed by the sysops who have nothing better to do than look at pictures all day, so leave it to them.

• Against Gang of Four = Mao's revolutionist group (including his wife, I think). I get the joke, and it's amusing, but the image could be better done. • Nomination and for. I had the last version of this pulled because the cropped version wasn't as good. Before anyone complains about re-nominations, the other nomination wasn't finished and it had a positive vote score, but I pulled it in favour of this one. It can be resized down to 275px (or 250px if absolutely necessary) without losing much, although I've tested it myself and the width of this one doesn't interfere any more than, say, the Truman Torch image did (it was 250px, and quite a lot taller). --Sir Volte KUN Talk (+S NS CM Bur.   • Comment. Yes, I think it could have worked with a "disappearing Jesus" themed caption, especially with the facial expressions. However, it should be tied to Nobody cares somehow, as that is what I made the image for. Since it's so far into the nomination, I will leave it as it is; changing the nominated item, even if it is just the caption, is not a good idea.
