1. Puppy: 7.1/10

• Concept: 1.5 . Somehow I missed the news about Greg Ham. Good idea, linking everything in together. It reminded me of Michael Jackson died!and so did Farrah Fawcett.
• Humour: 1.2 If anything it's just a little short. It's a few good one liners, but needs more cohesion for me.
• Prose: 1.4 I've adjusted it up slightly for non-English background. Getting an English native to proof read it would be a good idea. But it makes sense, but not fluent sense. It looks good and is well formatted too. I'm not a fan of unoriginal YouTube videos, but I'm ignoring that here - many English speakers would have no idea who he is, so there it's needed.
• Images: 1.6 I love that image of him with the rose. And the still of the YouTube video (surprisingly) works well.
• Misc: 1.4 Good start. Needs a little polish though.

1. Puppy: 6.5/10

• Concept: 1.6 When I saw the original news story I knew exactly the UnNews that should be written. It was this. Good idea, and some nice touches in there I didn't expect.
• Humour: 1.4 While there's stuff I didn't expect, there are jokes I'd love to see that weren't included. I'd love to see a reference to Keith Richards, who actually has been dead for years but stays alive in a weekend at Bernie's type of method.
• Prose: 1.2 It's not bad, but it doesn't flow like well written prose should. Imagine reading it aloud in an anchorman voice - if it doesn't quite work, change it. (Which would have been an advantage to recording it - it improves the writing).
• Images: 1.0 That second image is nasty 'chop work. I know that limited you to not using RadX, so you did what you could, but it's now too busy. Strip it back to Tupac, Jacko and Hendrix, and try to make it look more natural.
• Misc: 1.3 Just a little something missing from this. Maybe another revision or two (and a better 'chop) would push it to feature quality, but it's just a touch short.

• Humor: 8/10 - This could be funny to a limited audience. I certainly found it at least humorous.
• Concept and Organization: 9/10 - "Article has a well-defined concept and is organized in a logical manner."
• Prose and Format: 9/10 - "Article is written in the style of a news article. Sophisticated vocabulary is used. Article contains many wiki links to other articles. There are few to no spelling, grammar, or formatting errors."
• Images: 7/10 - The first image is unclear but relevant, and the second is funny and relevant but scaled too large. Consider shrinking it to less than 400 pixels wide.
• Misc.: 6/10 - "Article is of good quality, but may not yet be ready for VFH."

1. Puppy: 7.8/10

• Concept: 1.3 Odd concept. It shouldn't carry much beyond the title, unless there was a twist in the tale that took it further. I don't think there was, and the article was fleshed out by randomness. Which means that it's half a good concept, and half no concept.
• Humour: 1.5 Where you stuck to concept it worked. Where you veered off slightly it sort of worked (Turtle semen and Magic Johnson - especially as johnson = dick). Where it went right off it died (Hitler, Naked Pope). Futurama may have worked if it hadn't diverted so much before.

Side note: There is a treatment for MS that is made from an extract of hamster semen - as far I've been told. I don't know how true that is, but I wonder what MS sufferer was blowing hamsters and discovered it.

• Prose: 1.6 Well written, good phrasing, and flows nicely. I'm happy to say that I didn't pick up any issues, and format and overall appearance work.
• Image: 1.8 Perfect. Juvenile enough to get me to giggle, but not gross enough to put me off. Caption is a gem.
• Misc: 1.6 A little tweaking to remove some of the more random jokes, and adding in a bit more relating back to the main theme would be good. Good final line. Dick jokes are funny when they are clever.

1. Xamralco: 5/10 - Dick jokes are way overused, and writing an article about Dick Clark's dick just doesn't strike me as funny, though this is much better than what most people would put out. • Concept: 1.4 There are three good paragraphs here, and one that doesn't work. I'd scrap the third paragraph. We don't need to know how he will be hosting for the joke to work, and leaving that question unanswered makes it funnier.
• Humour: 1.1 Good humour (3 out of 4). I just want more of it. It's the difference between a hand up top over clothes and downstairs under clothes.
• Prose: 1.3 Well written, and looks good.
• Image: 1.5 The image could score higher but it doesn't fit with the article. Don't change the article to fit the image though - change the image to fit the article.
• Misc: 1.4 I may have said this already, but dump the third paragraph, and add in three more paragraphs that fit the rest of the article.

• Concept: 1.7 This idea has been used a fair bit, but with good reason - it works. It's classic Uncyc satire - partially factual, cleverly written, funny, but actually get people thinking of the reality.
• Humour: 1.6 I had a few good laughs here. The way the humour is wrapped in the very straight delivery - almost as through it came straight from minitrue - is well done.
• Prose: 1.6 I have no complaints except that you do seem to have a few run on paragraphs. A tiny trim here or there would improve this.
• Images: 1.6 I lolled at the second image. Very clever, and well captioned.
• Misc: 1.6 The only amendments I'd make is a little trim here or there, and something at the start as an announcement like "People rejoice. The good news of the empire is being brought to you direct from the department of information." Or something along those lines to set up your narrator.

• Concept: 1.7 I read the headline and wondered "How the hell have we never done this before?" It's the UnNews to start all UnNews.
• Humour: 1.5 If this is only the second article you've done, it's amazingly good. It's a little dry in parts - possibly over-egged the German angle a little - but it's minor nitpicking.
• Prose: 1.6 Possibly written at a level more broadsheet than tabloid (which is where we generally sit). The image is too small for my liking.
• Image: 1.4 It's a dull image of a dog. I like dogs, but this one doesn't really do much for me. The fact that we don't see the face does help with the concept though
• misc: 1.6 Bumped up slightly because you're new, but to be honest it's rare that I would score this high, so consider it a standing ovation. (And I'm gutted I can't vote for Dali yet.)

1. Puppy: 7.8/10

• Concept: 1.4 It's rare to see what would normally be considered a business news article in UnNews. This is probably because business news is predominantly dull. Taking that and making a good article was clever, and different.
• Humour: 1.4 Pretty good. No stand out belly laughs, but no wasted space either.
• Prose: 1.6 Well written and very newsworthy in style. Formatted well. Possibly cleaning up the quotes from the interview to be in their own paragraph would be better, but minor point.
• Image: 1.0 It is really just a clipart style image. An image of any of the characters, a real phone, a graph of the comparative sales - all of these would be better.
• Misc: 1.4 Overall I enjoyed it. Well done.
