Comments

This will make a lot more sense if you've seen or read 'A Clockwork Orange'.

  • Comment: Well 655321, I really want to say yes but the intro (only) looks like it needs TLC. There's a few places where I differ with the choice of words but it's a real horror show despite my being anal--DRStrangesig5.png Sherman.png Fingertalk.png  22:50, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Abstain Topic is too British for me to judge it, and it probably could use some polishing. (It was nominated directly from pee review without a final cleanup by the author.) --Mnbvcxz (Annoy) 05:29, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Comment - Actually the digital divide is a very American thing, and has chiefly come off the back of the Blue Chip boom of the late nineties. I have had a look at it since the Pee review. Should there be any specific point I'll take a look. Also the film is actually American as well. — Sir Sycamore (talk) 12:57, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
    • The film was originally banned in Britain because (like the American film "The Warriors") it was feared that it glorified gang violence. I've met more than a few British subjects in the states who've never seen the film. When you look at the long list of cultural references to "A Clockwork Orange" you really can't play the "too obscure" card on this article.--DRStrangesig5.png Sherman.png Fingertalk.png  12:48, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
  • I think this article is really well written and I actually like it an awful lot, so I can't vote against it. However, I don't think it is suitable for featuring, so I can't vote for it. Quite the conumdrum, I am sure you would agree. IronLung 04:43, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
