  1. Dig its been a long time since I've read a piece and instantly THINKER'D it, but I really liked this one. Basically its an article about Ireland, written by a German, updated and nom'd by an American Jew. I call us the United Colors of Benetton. --THINKER 06:50, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
  2. For. I saw this when it was created and loved it. Nothing has changed that, and I'm happy to vote for - by crikey, it's proper satire! --SirU.U.Esq. VFH | GUN | Natter | Uh oh | Pee 08:38, Jun 16

  8. For although I have some reservations, honestly, about featuring UnNews. It's not like this hasn't already been up on the front page for a week - most of the time, with a picture. Honestly, I think UnNews needs its own featuring process instead of this "Hey, why don't you go ahead and stick your crappy article up on the front page for all visitors to see?" thing we've got going on. But this is funny, and if this is the only award it can win, let's give it to it. --Hyperbole 17:07, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

  12. wFor Only weak because it seems rather forced in areas. Other than that a good read. -RAHB 08:05, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Hyperbole - The UnNewsRecent template is fully editable and I totally encourage policing it. Though there is not a written standard to go by, I asked in the forum if it could be left up to individual discretion to remove poor articles and those who responded agreed it was fine. So if you see something on there you don't think is up to par, just delete it from the template; won't delete the article, and the author can continue working on it. UnNews does have its own featured section on the UnNews hub page, but FA'ing UnNews is meant to highlight those pieces that use the format with exceeding excellence. Same as we feature UnBooks, etc. Plus, generally, I'm pretty sure that if a person who reads UnNews sees the article in the FA box they'll either gladly read it again or overlook it and move on; having it in the template and in FA isn't that big a deal. No one is going to read a word of this because it's so ridiculously long, and yet I continue to make it longer with these word. And these words. --THINKER 05:02, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
I read it. Proved you wrong. -RAHB 08:05, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
