- Not in the week's top five; a workmanlike but ordinary spork-and-randomize effort by Funnybony, massaged by Aleister. All the absurdity--of a posthumous pardon--is in the original (CNN). What Morrison would do if he appeared at the Board of Pardons in the flesh is obvious; alternative directions such as whom they will posthumously pardon next, or what Charlie Crist will do next to get attention after crashing and burning in politics, are untouched. (But he will not utter, "they should be found guilty of being innocent.") The nomination is a celebration of the subject matter--rock 'n' roll and vulgarity, so gratuitous as to make it read neither like news nor like a feature--not of good UnNews-ing; for that, compare either Funnybony's or RabbiTechno's competing treatments of the Egyptian shark attacks. - ROCK ON DUDE!!! Jimmy!!! (maybe Funnybony can add some of the stuff you said, and expand Crist's role. How often has an American politician done something even halfway radical?
