A famous mathematician and inventor of the rainbow, Roy G. Biv is considered a genius. He is the chief authority on Colo(u)r and his decisions on it are always right, or at least that’s what everyone believes.

Youth[edit | edit source]

As a young boy, Roy always was fascinated by ants and would abduct queen ants to form several colonies just so he can watch them go to war and drop tiny little hydrogen bombs on each other. Aside from those sociopathic tendencies, he was a rather smart kid, the smartest in his Chicago school.

Inventing the Rainbow[edit | edit source]

On June 1st, 1980, he invented the rainbow. He combined water vapor, light and color to create a set of 7 hues, which he named after his sister, Rain, said it looked like a pretty bow for Mother Earth. The name stuck and he got famous. He then labeled the colors on it as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Current Life[edit | edit source]

He currently lives in a mansion at Beverly Hills with his wife Sheryl and three sons Ed, Edd and Eddy. He uses his various online accounts to talk about color, which he is an expert in.
