Welcome!
I see you came to us from the Wikia uncyc, so I'll spare you the welcome template : )
Otherwise though, nice to have you here. I'm enjoying your edits. They're spicy and savory, like a plate of mini-quiches that I stole at my sister's wedding reception. In my defense, nobody else was eating them and that was just a plain shame, because they were delicious for the three weeks it took me to eat them. Anyway, welcome to this place! : D -RAHB 23:45, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
Images for Kitty Store?
Hi Llwy. I liked your recent article. If it helps, here's a few orphaned images from Special:UnusedFiles. There's also a gallery here, here, and here.
It's been a little slow at RadicalX's Corner lately but if you have an idea for something more specific and I'll see what I can dig up. MadMax (talk) 19:20, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Yo Llwy
Any time you want:
- to collaborate on a single article or a series of any kind
- me to draw an image for an article in my, uh, "style" (see for instance Neighborhood watch for some of the less offensive samples)
- to tell me to quit harassing you
you're welcome. -- Style Guide 20:25, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oh yeah - and about that offensive material bit you mention on your user page... seeing how a great fat lot of all comedy is based on excrement, violence, sex organs and sex in general - because those are some of the smallest common denominators - I should say fighting against those factors on a comedy site is more or less doomed to failure. If you want to try, go ahead though. -- Style Guide 20:49, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hello. Thanks for the offer; I may take it up. I might need somebody's help, maybe yours, with User:Llwy-ar-lawr/43 and Link Not - I'd like to figure out how to fix whatever's wrong with them. You aren't harassing me though.
- I only really clean up a minimal amount of offensive material because anything more would be contested. I suppose I'm a bit of a rule stickler. I believe in rules for a comedy wiki, however strange the concept may seem, only because it makes it clear what content we want. Shouldn't we make that clear?
- Also, not sure if this is the right place but I'm sorry about your one month block on the mirror. I wouldn't have gone that far. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 21:21, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- Nah I knew I had it coming on the mirror. About clearing out offensive material and "what we want": you probably know by now those things are a bit problematic. Where do you draw the line and why? My wife, for instance, told me that when she was a kid there were old wankers all over the place near her playground. If those men had been caught they would probably have been beaten - but what did seeing them do to her? Nothing as far as I can see. If she had seen a beating there she would probably be far worse off for experiences. There are many similar examples near me. So I for one mostly fail to get the point of waxing hysterical about a few dicks or twats - particularly when the whole Internet is full of them otherwise. There are few contributors here who wouldn't know for themselves when that shit isn't funny, so it might be a good idea to take it easy with your cleaning-up campaign. You apparently are planning to take it easy in any case, though. I just wanted to bring up an angle since you're new and I would hate to see this develop into an issue with anyone. Note: this is just an opinion, not a reclamation of what "we" want. But just so you know, the place is full of nice dudes and dudettes who don't have overblown sensibilities about sexual content and stuff like that, and many of those are ready to defend that lack tooth and nail. -- Style Guide 04:41, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- I thought I remembered a policy about how Uncyclopedia's humour was supposed to be appropriate for the whole family (i.e. including children). Now that I look around though I can't find any such thing - I must have been imagining it. I did write this (which, by the way, is in some need of translation - it shouldn't be in English) but it's a pretty liberal interpretation of the English Uncyclopedia policies and I'll probably have trouble getting everyone to agree to it assuming there ever is an 'everyone' to be spoken of. The sexual/offensive content is just there and, it seems, can't very well be just removed like that. In the end I'm not sure where you draw the line. I've come to the conclusion that all non-copyright-violating, non-shock/gore/porn/etc. forms of humour should be represented equally or something so we can keep everyone happy. So we can have some mainly 'dirty' articles, some mainly or entirely 'clean' articles and some in-between, but not too many or few of any category, and the 'dirtiness' should be kept to some sort of minimum. But the question still remains; where, indeed, do you draw the line? I can't say.
- And if I were to draw the line on Uncyclopedia Cymraeg as strictly as I've laid it out in the aforementioned policy, I do wonder what would have to happen to things like this (article about an apparently fictional porn show). A tricky subject it is.
- Then you run into swear words, and I have no idea what one ought to do with them for Welsh...but you wouldn't know, would you, and I'm getting rather off the topic. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:53, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah. Well, my opinion is: don't kill comedy with rules, and don't kill it with dropping it into a shithole. It's a fine line at best. I'm glad you're not stuffed up about your idea because that would be a killer as far as I'm concerned. Let's work something out: we're different enough to make something interesting I'm sure. Meet me on IRC; I'm hanging out there quite a bit. Right now for instance. -- Style Guide 18:59, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

About 43
The idea of the article is, of course, not terribly funny. Lacks human interest. If I tried to make it funnier, I would first of all add at least two antagonists - made-up or real mathematicians or whatever - to fight over an issue they may have with the number. I hope this helps. If you want me to actually write it with you along those lines, maybe. But it will come out nonsensical, violent and/or a bit offensive (to the most sensitive ones) if I'm on. No images of dicks or twats though: the article doesn't merit any. Meet me on IRC some day and we can have a think. -- Style Guide 04:50, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds all right enough. I was thinking maybe an image of numbers arguing - how's that sound? Nonsense is fine; it's pretty nonsensical as it is and I can't imagine it could be made much more so. I'll have to figure out IRC before I can meet you there I suppose. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 19:02, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

please
reconsider your act on reverting Wapanese. I rewrote it because wakkoswish123 (AKA NeXT)'s version is hardly an improvement and it has been FFW by denza (which is another gigantic troublemaker) once and i rewrote it just to save it from FFW. secondly, the old version, or wakkoswish123's version is blatant nonsense and you are NOT supposed to kill weeaboos with sun or garlic. Third, you must know that wakkoswish123, AKA NeXT is a trouble maker who is specifically against me and what you are doing is just promoting his acts. I will revert you right now, and you can express your opinion in my talk page. I am not discriminating furfags or weeaboos right now, it is not a personal grudge, but my version is way better and logical or so i think.--WELCOME TO UNCYCLOPEDIA HELL!!!! 10:19, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

regarding this I am not a black shithead, I might be Manticore but I have never created a sockpuppet on Uncuclopedia or Uncycccpdia. I am however glad you think that I write maturely. Much love and kisses, yours forever Madclaw @ talk 17:09, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- P.S. Not that there's anything wrong with being a black shithead, I mean some of my friends are black, and my father is a shithead. Madclaw @ talk 17:11, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- I see. I didn't mean to call you a black shithead, Black Sikhhead was just the username of the sock user. Glad it isn't you - you've been blocked more than enough as it is. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 19:07, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Question
Not to be rude or anything but are you a guy or a girl?
- The latter. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 18:39, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
- Just making sure. User:MagicBus/sig6 21:02, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
Hey there!
Let me get straight to the point: I don't mean to say that you're using sockpuppets to vote on articles you nominate because I'm sure you wouldn't use that way to feature your page but all of Sedona's edits were For. votes on articles you nominated. Now you may say that this is just a coincidence and I partly agree with you but it's highly unlikely that a new user's first edits are votes on VFH. So, I am just saying and I don't want to accuse you for anything. It's just strange is all. --Mimo&maxus 14:55, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for assuming good faith, though I can't say I didn't see this coming. It's not entirely a coincidence; I suggested voting on VFH to Sedona as something to do here, and happened to give links to pages I had nominated. That's all. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 15:14, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- By the way, I'm not sure it's all that rare for non-sock users to make their first edits on VFH. Example. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 15:19, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

VFD
Hi again, Llwy! You seem to be watching Uncyclospikia, as you call it, and so if you are actually rewriting VFD rules, what Pup did there (uncyclowikia) may be helpful for you. Anton (talk) 14:00, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Anton. I did see Pup's forum, and I liked his ideas but ended up significantly modifying them. Do you think his rewrite is better than mine? – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 00:49, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
Email contact?
Hello, is there a way to contact you privately. I would prefer if it was not viewable publicly and would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. It's in regards to the edits I attempted to make Aznddrdude (talk) 18:07, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
- Well ok, if you really want - there's an 'email this user' link on the left of this page under 'Toolbox', and if you click it there's a way to send me an email. You have to have specified an email address in Special:Preferences first, as I have. I'm not sure why you'd like to contact me privately, though...? Other users also are wondering about your edits, so for their benefit I may paraphrase your mail on-wiki if not directly quote it. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 20:24, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
Tigerhuman
I didn't know that pages with construction added to the page means we can leave it as is. Sorry. MagicBus 21:29, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- It's ok. I guess it does mean that - the standard thing seems to be to leave the article alone until a week has passed since it was edited, and then if the template is still there either delete it or userspace it. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 21:48, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks for telling me that! :) MagicBus 22:16, 13 November 2013 (UTC)

Wikia link policy
I assume it hasn't changed then. Nominally Humane! 08:59 18 Nov
- Changed from what? As I understand it, fullurls that are not directly relevant to the fork or the URL change and are not in forums are to be pointed to the fork because ... and here I will try to rephrase Frosty's explanation that '[we are changing the links] so it makes a bloody bit of sense'. If diffs or logs that date from when there was only one Uncyc point from here to wikia, they are misleading because they are relevant to 'Uncyclopedia' but they point to what is now a different site - one that is also called Uncyclopedia, but is not the same as this one. It would be a little like if those diffs and logs pointed to Wikipedia and claimed to be about something that happened on Uncyclopedia; I can't think of a plausible scenario where that would happen, but it seems like a reasonable analogy.
- On the other hand, if a diff or log explicitly (in the text as well as the URL) points to Wikia, I think it is allowed. I do not know of any policy preventing this, or indeed any (explicit) policy here about wikia links at all; if you know of one you are welcome to show me. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 21:15, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. The link I changed recently was ambiguous as to where it was linking to, and was likely to be broken, so that was a valid change, according to the above. Nominally Humane! 09:58 18 Nov
- I don't know what link you changed, so I can't comment, but it was probably fine, yes. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 22:01, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Uncyclopedia Wikia Account
I am puzzled to know why you wanted to use a sock account at the other site. Users can only have one account per user. Sometimes a bot account is created by admins for other work but it is identified as such. Your three month ban has expired on the wikia hosted site. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 15:51, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't want to use the account, just log in with it. I had noticed that accounts created there worked over here and I thought maybe it worked the other way, but now I understand why it doesn't. I know my block has expired and I have no intention of coming back under any name. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talk • contribs • logs) 15:57, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Moving pages into user's userspaces
- I'm not sure why you have been doing this, but it is not something we typically do. I just went to delete a bunch of shitty pages only to find them moved to userspace not by the user who created them but by you. If you could stop that would be great. Thanks, -- The Zombiebaron 20:27, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

- The 4 pages I saw today were QVFD material. For pages that show effort and appear to still be being written add a {{construction}} tag. The {{ICU}} tag has been depreciated in favor of the {{construction}} tag because the {{construction}} tag is superior. Pages can also get either a {{Fix}} or a {{Expand}} tag, which will expire in 30 days instead of 7. If you are unsure of how to tag a page I recommend asking an admin on their talkpage or getting on IRC and asking there. -- The Zombiebaron 20:35, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
