Questions about why my entry was deleted
Hey I was wondering why my entry for Avalon Benifeddy was deleted? I can understand the fact that there are no hits for google, or wikipedia, but i followed the rules in creating an entry, and I used proper spelling/grammar, linked to other entries in uncyclopedia, put in more than one line of text, and included pictures. Also what counts as a vanity page because that's the reason that was there and it wasnt a "OMG IM sO K3L visit me site now111" page? And it was not about me, despite the username. Also it was under construction so there was still more to add and I had been slowly editing more onto there. Plus, half of the Jesii on this site I've (and wikipedia, google has but it's mostly from here) never heard of. Yet they are some of the funniest pages on here. So then uncyclopedia is only supposed to have misinformation about REAL things? Also it was under construction so there was still more to add and I had been slowly editing more onto there. Thanks - User:Benifeddy_The_7th User:Benifeddy The 7th (keep on forgetting those internal links...doh.)
- Well, most of the time when it's a person.. that wikipedia or google hasn't heard of it is considered as vanity because it just could be a page about someone that you know. Jesii is different, because they are different versions of Jesus. Plus, if it is vanity, a construction template does not stop it from being deleted. Check here for info on vanity rules. —Braydie 20:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
--Thanks and ahhhh so I see, so purely fictional is no no, aw well, may he live on in my userpage. On the other hand if I made a different version of a Jesii or well-known people who DO exist, that would be welcome?? -Benifeddy The 7th
- Nah, purely fictional is ok... but there's a very fine line as to what's made up.. and what's vanity. Sorry. —Braydie 20:48, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
-Well do you mind saying a short summary of what constitutes as made up or vanity? Because I completely made up everything that has to do with Benifeddy, really, it all started as a report for a class and snowballed outta control from there. Would it have been vanity if i didnt write it using the username "Benifeddy the 7th" ya think? Thanks for your help thus far.
- Well, vanity is classed as a Non Notable Person (NNP) - we got rid of these because they are normally in jokes, so people that know you or the person you are talking about will get it. So, I can see this article being very in jokey to your friends etc. Therefore would be classed as vanity. —Braydie 21:14, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Question thyme .
I got 2 questions . 1 i still got no reply to the cyberbully bit i posted above . 2 What on earth is a cowbell i found some templates to do with articles needing more/less cowbell i don't know what the hell a cowbell is .
- Richardson j 22:28, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- The cowbell thing is like a joke.. It means the article needs to be expanded a little bit. —Braydie 22:31, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Blocked ?
I'm probing Uncyclopedia to see if I want to move here. So far I've been blocked for asking questions, and had to wait for these things to expire. Can you keep me from being blocked ? Hell of a Welcome message when one gets blocked for asking questions. 65.173.105.125 00:38, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

- Okay, so I just had an idea regarding the Hall of Shame Logo, but since I am on vacation, I decided to use this account to tell you. Basically, when the contest is over, you do a choose tag with the four logos as the options, and make their weight equal to the amount of votes they get.

Question on Good Form
Is it common practice at the Village Dump to alter other people's stuff? Cause I had an entry on Off-Topic in "Fuck Uncyclopedia" near the bottom that had been massively altered. Is such a thing common practice? I don't think I could have written such a diatribe if I wanted to. Or am I just being paranoid and I wrote the thing during a psychotic break? They're not at all uncommon. Just asking an admin to get the straight poop. Thanks, Braydie.--Schizo Master 01:16, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. I guess I did do it. I mean the history never lies. I'm terribly embarrassed at such a vulgar display. Can signatures be forged? It's just so strange that I don't remember.... Or could it have been altered from somewhere else and copied and pasted? Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I mean that's what schizophrenia is all about, right? Who's Spang? Thanks anyway, Braydie.--Schizo Master 13:14, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, anyone can copy any signature and put it there. But the history never lies. Oh, and Spang was just passing though, I think. —Braydie 19:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
So someone else might have created that message and put my signature on it?--Schizo Master 19:57, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, no. Because the history says otherwise. You definitely made that comment because it lists your account as the edit. It is possible that someone else was using your account if you honestly can't remember making the edit.. but it is very unlikely. —Braydie 19:59, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi Braydie
I'm trying to help someone with an article but when I go to the Editing Talk:Dick Vitale page, it says that this article doesn't exist. But it's on Pee Review. Does the talk page say this only because no one has enterred anything onto it? I'd like to place my review there and let Crazyswordsman keep his official review for someone more qualified and helpful. Do I just edit the page to enter my stuff? I'll check back later. Thanks again, as usual, Braydie. You're always a help.--Schizo Master 13:54, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, if you click on the talk page and it says the article doesn't exist, that just means that no one has made a talk page about the article. Feel free to create it. Oh, and sorry for getting back to you so late with this request and the others, my internet connection has been a bit dodgy lately. —Braydie 19:30, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- And how do you create the Talk page, just put some stuff in the box and save it? Please excuse the ignorance.--Schizo Master 19:59, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's exactly how you do it. —Braydie 20:01, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Something that i'm concerned about
I'm here to discuss something that i'm concerned about . A few minutes ago i typed in child in the search box and comes up a list of articles that i think in bad taste with titles like " child porn " " child abuse " ect. i wonder if you could look into possibly seeing what you can do and possibly even deleting them thanks Richardson j 07:57, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- The only article that comes up for me is Child —Braydie 07:59, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- The list only came up when clicked the search button not the go button Richardson j 08:12, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hm. Well, from me reading over them for a second, didn't really find anything in huge relation to the type of title they have. Just stay out of their way, I guess. —Braydie 15:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

I tend not to watch pages as closely as I should, and
only now noticed that you huffed African American. I'm seriously hoping that you do indeed have access to its history, because… well… I put a lot of work and thought into that article, and didn't consider backing it up because I didn't think that would happen. I take it (or am hoping) that someone converted it into a redirect and you didn't look at the history. If you did, well, I would like to know why the article was worthy of speedy deletion. Thank you for taking the time to read, and understand that I harbor no ill will to you. — Lenoxus 22:43, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- I restored it, looks like Braydie just forgot to check the history before deleting the broken redirect it was replaced with. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 04:15, 17 Mar 2007

Schizo Master asks
Is there some template I can use on the top of my articles so that I can take my time editting them (the ones still under construction)? Something like "being fixed" or "under construction" cause I'm not going to be able to get to them for awhile? Thanks Mr. Braydie.--Schizo Master 18:57, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
If they're articles that you have wrote, you can move them to your userspace.. Just click the move tab and put "User:Schizo Master/" in front of the page name. If you're going to be able to edit them in under 7 days time, you can add {{WIP}} on the top. —Braydie 18:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey I have one more question. How do you know when you've truly made a good page? The alligator page is made by a friend and i've made my own and i want to know when it would be safe to take the construction off--Joseph5626 14:50, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, once it looks finished really. If it looks finished it shouldn't be ICUed. Most pages have a good idea behind it but just aren't finished. Any idea that stands out will be moved to Category:Ideas though. —Braydie 14:54, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Well it hasn't been ICUed in a while so it is probably safe. Thanks again.--Joseph5626 14:59, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Well it was tagged VFD immediately after i took construction off. Is this normal, because i would've expected an ICU or something along those lines first and I wonder if the guy even read the whole article or if he saw Nazi and put it up for deletion the page is The Fascist tiger Armies of Nazi Germany. Get back to me thanks.--Joseph5626 15:23, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey I know I'm kind of annoying right now and that this is a lot of trouble to ask you to go through, but do could you look at my page The Fascist tiger Armies of Nazi Germany and tell me if you think I can still save it or if it is a waste of time. Re: Humboldt State University
Howdi, if you lived in the united states you'd know that humboldt state university is rather famous for its reputation as a marijuana school. it has many pop culture refrences (from cypress hill snoop dog and others) and really ought to be included. what happened to the world-wide viewpoint? the article was way more clever than most of the stuff i've seen here, so maybe just get off your high horse and try to find a sense of humor (notice the american spelling).
if we're going to be nationalistic about things, i'd say the only thing good about england is its view of ireland.
Fanoftheelipsis 22:31, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ahh, I see. I'm not on any high horse, all I was following was the rules. However, thank you for coming to me about it (some people just get in a huff and run round the site doing bad stuff). To be honest, because I had never heard of the place and it had "school" in the title, I deleted it - so I did not see any humour even if there was some on there. The thing is with schools is that people's names start creeping on there and as soon as this happens it's breaking UN:VAIN. But, if you can assure me that no one's names get onto that page and you keep it themed around the pop culture I'll restore it for you. —Braydie 22:36, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Pee Review
Hey Braydie can you tell me how to put an article up for pee review. I mean I know it is probably easy, but I'm kind of new, so don't laugh too much. I hope it isn't too much trouble, but it was a suggestion I got to get reviews on my articles, so I find that it could be quite useful. Thanks a lot for the help you've already given me, but I think that a little more wouldn't hurt too much.--Joseph5626 05:27, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Marc Reynebeau
Hi! You deleted the topic about Marc Reynebeau, one of belgiums most brilliant persons. For the reason of vanity. Can't really imagine why it got deleted. It is an extra for the ugly topic and the Belgium topic. Me and my friends thought it was a good article, but of course it's easier for a belgian to understand the jokes. Reposting the article would be much appreciated, but not reposting would of course be respected and understanded.
-patatclanner
- Well, there is no english wikipedia article about it. So that's why I deleted it for vanity (Non Notable Person). If you think that lots of people would get the jokes around the world, not just Belgian people then feel free to recreate the article. If you need me to restore it, just say. —Braydie 21:14, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, it would be greatly appreciated if you were so kind to restore it. Many thanks! And I do think non-Belgian people can understand the jokes as well, because you don't really need to know who he is.

My page was deleted as a wiki copy
I had pasted in the wiki article, I won't deny that; but I was in the process of editing it. - Sure, you are allowed to do that. But most people add the {{WIP}} tag to it so that they know that the article is under construction. I would also like to see some change, and from what I saw there was none. —Braydie 12:05, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

- Ah. There's no way to restore it, is there? Aliveoutofhabit 04:25, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
You huffed my article!
I'm not a user, but what happened to Bazooka? You huffed it! Why?
- Just because of the Chuck Norris references, it's just that we're tired of all the memes. Try reading HTBFANJS. —Braydie 15:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Non GIFted text flashing.
Is there anyway you can produce flashing text without resorting to gif files Richardson j 06:08, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, click the little edit thing next to "Non GIFted text flashing." (the closest one to this) and copy the code that I put. —Braydie 19:11, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
You Huffed My Article Too
The Moonbat Dictionary: Israel Edition
Sure, I copied and pasted it. But it was from my own blog, The Atheist Jew. I just thought it belongs on the Uncyclopedia. Am I guilty of plagiarizing myself? - Baconeater
- Well, if it's from your own blog I suppose you can recreate. —Braydie 21:49, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Bristling Bristol
Thanks for un-buggering-up my move of that article; do let me know if I'm being presumptious in moving it to make room for mine. – Preceding unsigned comment added by Wyattj (talk • contribs)
- Hey, that's no problem. —Braydie 18:59, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the tip Weasel 3689 00:58, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- No probs. —Braydie 06:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Starnestommy?
May I please ask what the banning of him was behind?-- 08:56, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think the block reason was pretty self explanitary. —Braydie 15:05, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Another pain-in-the-ass article subject
Hi, uhm, I know, those complaints must bore you to tears. But you recently put a 7-days Ringu-like countdown on the article LATUAULTUKA. Well, since it still needs to be revised (and I could need a little help from other users), do you guys accept a construction tag as an excuse?
- Heh, no worries about the topic. Sure, if you put a construction tag on the article that will give it 7 days. Once those 7 days are up (along with the length of the article) it will be moved to the main contributor's userspace, so that it can be worked on there (with no chance of deletion). —Braydie 18:04, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Hm, alright. And it "automatically" lands on the authors userpage when the article is being CRVed (or whatever you call it)?
- ICUed? Well, no. But I don't think you mean that. If it goes 7 days without being edited, I'll move it to your userspace, and tell you on your talk page where to find it. —Braydie 15:04, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Serial blanker asks
A few usernames have been given the Sock|Serial blanker tag that are not mine. You reversed my attempts to remove the tag and blocked the username I used earlier tonight (understandably I suppose). I have added those sock-puppets of mine that weren't listed that I can find (I have no written record of my sock-puppets and am going from memory). Please will you remove the following:
User:Blanking is good for the mind, body, and soul
User:Braydie, will you marry me?
User:Electrified mocha chinchilla
Also I apologise for serial-blanking, including:
a) Lying by adding the indefblockeduser tag to accounts that are not (and probably never have been) blocked. Lying by adding the Sock|Administrator-name tag to other administrators' accounts. Also general userpage-vandalism, especially to administrators userpages.
b) Concentrated blanking of articles such as God, Evolution, Evilution and Jesus.
c) Copying-and-pasting Wikipedia articles to replace the Uncyclopedia article.
I promise to stop stupid edits.
Serial blanker was not my first account name. I accept it is a fair name for people to refer to me by as it sums up my actions.

- Hey there. Erm, just a warning - other users may see this as "OMFG SERIAL BLANKER LETS TALK TO HIM", so if you want to stay sane (assuming you still are of course) just listen to me. I'll do that for you. Although, I think the Electrified mocha chinchilla one is supposed to be a joke, as he is a serious contributor.. well, not serious, but a major one. What were your motives behind it? Oh, and what was the first account name you had (good to know these things). I kinda understand if you don't want to talk back. —Braydie 22:46, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
My actions haven't been sane, but I am a lot saner for quitting blanking here. I accept that it's best if I don't enter into discussion with other users.
My blanking was mainly motivated by irrational hatred of Uncyclopedia, specifically the mocking of some of my beliefs. I am not prepared to go into any more detail on this.
The first username I can find is User:Blanker (blocked 17th January, whereas User:Serial blanker was blocked 31st January), though I can't say for sure that was my first username. I did make edits by IP before that (I don't know which). I don't think I edited at all before this year.
I'm going to look for more of my sock-puppets (in Special:Log/Block) and mark them. Then I'm going to take some time to grow up before I even think of editing here again.

- Ah. Well, I suppose that the humour etc can't be accepted by everyone. You've got quite the reputation around here these days, was good fun blocking you.. sorry for that :P. At the end of the day, edits can be undone etc, so no lasting damage was done. Feel free to drop me a line here when you decide to edit here again. —Braydie 17:45, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
