UnNews video[edit source]
Understand that the crap I uploaded was the begininning of my "training" in video. I've never done anything video before, so I bought Pinnacle Studio Plus with some other crap and started fooling around with it. I'm hoping to make it more better somehow. It thrills me to the gall bladder to know I've inspired something evil in you, as does it kaizum me to get all this ranting from such an esteemed... ahem... scribbler as yourself, to be precise... shit... sorry, my brain is re-kaizuming itself in the way of the zimizm. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, and sharing your sexual excitement. Cheers! Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 22:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Sig[edit source]
I didn't know where to put this, so I'll put it here. It seems that there is something wrong with your sig. It leaves code everywhere (well to me anyway) Put in the nickname box on preferences {{SUBST:nosubst|User:Hawthorn Peebles/sig}}. Then check the Raw signatures box. That should fix it :D . —Braydie at 16:35, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

- No, your sig is, indeed, spilling code. It's hogging the edit window. On the edit window, your sig should look like {{User:Hawthorn Peebles/sig}} when you've saved the page. Good evening! I was just wanting to thank you for reviewing my article laughter. I also was wondering if you would consider rechecking the misc rating you gave me as my article was not sporked from Wikipedia and I feel it makes for an unfair review when it is an untrue statement. Date/time stuff[edit source]
Hey, I saw you doing stuff with dates and times using magic words and switches and stuff, and I just thought I'd point you in the direction on the #time parser function instead. It's a bit hard to understand at first, but you can get it to work out any relative dates and stuff for you and output it in any format you like, and is much better than switches and magic words and stuff.
So, for example to get the date one month ago, you'd do {{#time: M j| - 1 month }}
, which would output Feb 28
. The instructions and codes for stuff are all on the parser functions page I linked, but it's basically {{#time: output format | date to convert }}
. In this case, it's different from yours as instead of displaying the 30th again for previous months that don't have a 31, it skips on to the first of the current month.
I could have put all that in myself, I suppose, but I'm not familiar with all the unnews templates and where the problem is. Just ask if you didn't understand that, or want me to do it. Or ignore it if you don't care :) • Spang • ☃ • talk • 07:04, 31 May 2007
- Yeah, the red-link date error was there for about a half-year (or longer)...and I just couldn't stand it anymore. So I broke down and did a quick fix. But, cool and big thanks, I look into it to see if it will match the date formatting UnNews does!! — H. Peebles - D - HS 19:25, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
