How well do you HTML if any? You can basically copy the code of one of the existing templates and place your image in it. Look at the forum that Famine send you over to at Mhaille's talk page. A word of caution: before you start placing your template on multiple articles, I'd suggest you consult with one of the admins, (after you create it...for example in your name space:user:Gaberou/template) to hear his/her opinion.
