Tower of Babble

The Uncyclopedia Babel Project, sometimes called the Blabbling project aims to unite Uncyclopedia by creating wiki projects that revolve around different languages. It is a non-profit non-organization which founded many of the other-language Uncyclopedias, and the Babel language templates, which became one of the most popular templates used on this website.

The name originated when some guys built a huge tower in the center plaza of Uncyclopedia. Chronarion looked upon this, disatisfied, angry that the world could speak one language. He then sent a plane to crash into the tower, and forced the Uncyclopedians to speak different languages (but most commonly English, because that's the most fucked up one.)

Babel namespace[edit source]

Main article: Babel:Main Page

The Babel namespace is a remnant from the 2005 Uncyclopedia, back when it was hosted by Wikia. It was the starting point of what would be the rest of other-languages Uncyclopedias, such as Inciclopedia, Hikipedia, Nonciclopedia, Désencyclopédie, etc., etc. Nowadays it isn't of much use and it mostly is kept for archival purposes, although it still contains some pages of alternate versions of the Main Page such as Babel:Em or Babel:APPL.
