Our new AFT would be a parody of this thing Wikipedia created.

My two cents: We're basically a parody of Wikipedia. So we should create a parody of Wikipedia's Article Feedback Tool that exists just in case we become popular again, so that we can get feedback from our audience as to the following criteria:

  • Humor: Was the article funny?
  • Concept: Did the article make sense to you?
  • Style: Is it well-written?

This would be a great way to learn from our readers what they want from us. Talkies. --Clicky! Sir CuteMewtwoOnTheRadio [CUNPBJ'12PLS(0)Stuy'16] 15:26, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

Other language uncyclopedia's do something along that line and it seems to work. Sounds like a good idea to me. --Talk to me! Sir Xam Ralco the Mediocre 15:40, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
But I don't like users giving me constructive feed back. It demoralizes me and makes me feel unwanted and unloved. Is there any way to make sure that users who criticize my work are permabanned from the internet? --ShabiDOO 01:16, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

I'm a voting guy

Talking is overrated. For or against having a parody of Wikipedia's AFT?

I'm pretty sure Wikipedia's AFT uses a GNU license. I'll check. Even so, Wikia can make a (proprietary) version for us and possibly other wikis. --Clicky! Sir CuteMewtwoOnTheRadio [CUNPBJ'12PLS(0)Stuy'16] 00:12, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
    We don't give a fuck about licenses in Uncyclopedia. AimsplodeL A B O R A T O R I E S 17:21, 28 June 2012
I'd have to disagree. See also John Scherer/Outrage!. --Clicky! Sir CuteMewtwoOnTheRadio [CUNPBJ'12PLS(0)Stuy'16] 17:23, June 28, 2012 (UTC)
  • Symbol for vote.svg For. On a trial basis. We used to have a 5 star article rating system on articles, a long time ago, but too many articles weren't getting rated at all. Some people just prefer to be entertained than to give feedback. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 21:12, June 28, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, so? There's lots of Wikipedia articles that have no ratings too. I think the point here is less getting articles rated and more ripping off Wikipedia.

  • Symbol comment vote.svg Comment. AFTv4 didn't even work on enwp, which has a far larger readerbase, and AFTv5 is coming out soon anyway, so what would be the point of a mimicry of AFTv4 when it won't even be used anymore on the subject of the parody? And from a more practical standpoint, how would it help supposing folks did bother to vote on the articles? What would the scores be used for? And who would implement it? Wikimedia's version would not work with on a wiki with as antiquated software as this, so we would have to write our own, and even if we did, would wikia be willing to add it to the wiki? They haven't been with other extensions we've proposed, and those were ones written by more established developers and already used on other wikis as well. Please don't overrate talking; when there are issues with the thing in question, the vote can be essentially meaningless before they are cleared up. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 05:24, 29 June 2012
  • If the whole thing about a new system to parody that Lyrithya says is coming out is coming out, then let's wait until that comes out to do something similar. Or just not do anything at all. I mean, we have Pee Review for a reason, and people are pretty distracted from that already. --Littleboyonly.jpg TKFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFUJewriken.GIFCK Oldmanonly.jpg 05:43, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
  • And besides, Wikia has let us not implement some of their features, for example they let us create our own skin instead of conforming to Wikia's crappy skin. The down side: we now don't have access to Special:WikiActivity. --Clicky! Sir CuteMewtwoOnTheRadio [CUNPBJ'12PLS(0)Stuy'16] 16:10, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
