Welcome![edit source]
Hello, Zheliel, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:
- Beginner's Guide
- Our Vanity Policies - why we don't care about your friends
- How to be funny and not just stupid
If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:
- About Uncyclopedia and The five pliers of Uncyclopedia
- How to get started editing on uncyclopedia
- Help Pages - if you need help with a specific issue
I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button () above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.
At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Zheliel/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you want to write and don't know where to begin, browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! --Sycamore (Talk) 13:48, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hi fellow weirdos :) Anyway, I basically know the rules for uncyclopædia, it's the same as wikipedia except the content is meant to be a lot more intruiging and weird? The wiki-markup is familiar, and yes. haha. Wait... haha?

Congrats on entering:) - Just passing by with paperwork crap, you can only enter the one category. Since your a bit of a noob still, I'd enter that one (you can always try another category later, or at the next PLS). Nice article as well.--Sycamore (Talk) 14:34, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

THANKS[edit source]
Thanks for reviewing my first article!! You gave me lots of help with what to change, how to change it and how I could improve specific areas. I have even managed to add pics to the article!! Thanks again for your awsome review :D Johnrofl123 05:57, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Johnrofl123
Sig[edit source]
Your shiny new sig appears to be putting a line break between the sig part and the date part, can you have a look and try to do something about that please? Check that all open tags have a matching close tag, that tags don't overlap, and that you haven't put anything extra in the sig box in your preferences that doesn't need to be there. It's breaking counts and the like, which makes me feel all funny. Thanks! --UU - natter 10:27, Mar 13
- Or Modus could just fix it before you even read this - that works too! ;-) --UU - natter 11:47, Mar 13
Welcoming users[edit source]
Please don't welcome users just for the sake of spamming welcome messages. You just welcomed a infinibanned vandal. ~ 12:46, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ooh. Okay. Sorry about that. 12:48, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- And yet you managed to welcome another vandal today. ~ 15:37, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh. Erm... How am I supposed to know who is a vandal or who isn't? I need help. Thanks! 15:44, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Simply take a look at what they're doing before you welcome them. Someone who put an edit summary "MrN9000 can suck my cock you fucking nigger" is usually up to no good. For these people you can use the {{Oh Dear}} template. ~ 15:47, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Hope Mordillo does not mind me butting in here, but I remember being a lot more experienced before I started welcoming people. There’s a few who regard it as a bit of a mission to welcome people as it creates lot of links to your userpage, sadly its very petty behaviour and despite being a massive proponent of it, I would say that I want to discourage it. Its debatable whether we should welcome so much, as many who do get welcomed often have little or very few contributions, or ion this case are vandals. Speaking as your adopter, I advise you stay clear of this, that’s not to say taking an interest in the maintenance aspect of the site is bad, I’ve seen you about on VFH and VFD and that’s a good thing, but this is just a sure fire way of wasting your writing time which looks very promising:)--Sycamore (Talk) 15:55, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Understandably, you voted for my article for featuring. Although your "for" vote was not extraordinary, as the article's genius was beyond question, it is still appropriate to acknowledge your dutiful participation in the process. So, in gratitude for your vote, I will dedicate the next time I hit myself on the head with a heavy object to you. Thank you. The following heavy objects are available for this honor. Please indicate below this template which one you would like me to use in dedicating my head-bashing to your user name. |

Thanks![edit source]
Neil thanks you for voting! Obviously by Neil I mean 'I' cos you know that people who refer to themselves in the third person like that actually tend to be kinda narcissistic and I'm not - well I mean I wouldn't say I was - so from now on I'll say 'I', I just had to say Neil so you knew that it was me and not somebody else. So I came here to say thanks for advertising my daily torment I hope that now more people will have a greater understanding of why I'm so dysfunctional. Thanks, did I say that? |

IC reminder[edit source]
Hi Zheliel, just dropping by to let you know that we haven't seen you at IC in a couple weeks. Maybe you've been busy, maybe you've been on a two week bender, but regardless of your excuse, we need you. Imperial Colonization is all about participation, and being a Colonizer requires an active commitment. If you're not up for it, there's nothing wrong with that. Just let us know. But if you do wish to continue calling yourself a Colonizer, get out there on the front lines, maggit! (If you do not participate in this coming week, we will be forced to remove you from the roster.) Cheers! 14:13, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- I have been using IC though only giving minor changes to the articles. Guess that doesn't count... 06:53, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Now it counts. User:Zheliel/sigz2 10:34, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
