Forum:New site, first month almost over. A sincere letter.
Hi, are you aware? If you're not, then I'll make you aware. Uncyclopedia has recently moved from the original website after a hard time with Wikia. Some big screw-ups Wikia did was 1) Enforced censorship, and 2) Ignored us and did things without discussion to the forum.
The move team (AKA Move cabal) has even did the right thing by starting a move with light notice since Spring of 2012. Even further back you can go and still see plans to move the site. Luckily, we did it and are here today. Many trustees have returned, and we are the Uncyc we once had back in... well... the first two years of Uncyclopedia's existence.
Before I revealed to you guys here my young age, I had trouble deciding whether or not you would all accept me. Luckily, you guys did and I am fortunate for that.
Being bullied my entire life, I have finally found a place I have the will to dedicate myself to... and that means even giving up some things I wish I could have done just to be here.
And with that, I wish to share with you my advice I have in-store for you noobies out there.
1) One of the most attractive things you will first notice here (unbelievably not Hotadmin4u69) is the Vote For Highlight. I saw attraction with this and raped the site in nominations (full of rather poor quality) and was scolded heavily for it. One advice, this makes you look bad and untrustworthy. It makes you more likely to never get anywhere here. Eventually I did it just because it pissed off SPIKE and luckily nobody gave a grudge to dress me in. (I think) The only reason I still tend to flood VFH is because it's "my thing". Lyrithya was famous for mass bans and deletion back in her active days and I still tend to carry this trait around. Luckily, I don't do it anymore unless I am joking around. (Like 7 noms at once, is my joke. I would only have 1 or two serious noms in those 7)
2) Don't ask to be admin. It's rude. It makes you look like you think the job is a joke, and it's not. I won't ellaborate on this, because chances are if you still want to be admin, you will have better luck hiding your ambition rather than plain out f*cking going; "Nom me biiittccch!" Seriously, DON'T ASK TO BE ADMIN.
3) Be understanding. You get negative reputation for being a dick. See How To Be Funny and Not Just SPIKE or simply HTBFANJS for more details.
4) Learn. Watch what others do. Take advice, be open for opinions, work work work, and most importantly; read this.
5) Also read this. Understand consequences and the compensation for ratio of FUNNY:DEATHPENALTY. If you are more drawn to the DEATHPENALTY side, you're not doing it right. Please, try to keep censorship concerns to a minimal. (don't uphold the titty pictures you no-sex-life heathens) AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST ABSOLUTELY NO BLANKING! DAMN TROLLS!
6) Don't be afraid to ask. See users who are active and who are most likely to respond, (Go to recent changes, hit recent 500 changes, you will get a good idea. Also look around the site's recent activity) and see the active po-pos for help.
7) Bring things up in the community. See Village Dump for these discussion forums.
8) Don't take anything personally. This is a comedy site. We are aren't racist, and we don't wanna kill your family. Without consent.
9) Don't break the law. This is a no-brainer.
10) Have fun.

Wikia bashing
