Fat Americans

Sorry if I sound mean, but that was a shitty reason to vote against. Of course it treats fat people differently. Do you really think it's going to treat Fat Americans nicely? I'm not sure you know this as you're new, but a lot of the articles we feature treat things or people differently (and this is Uncyclopedia, not Wikipedia, it's a joke place) Some examples include Holocaust Tycoon and several others. It doesn't really stand firmly as you've made very few contributions outside of your userspace, sig and vote. Ya know the place very well based on your contributions which gives me suspicions that you're a sock. Explain this to me.--Æ 22:44, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm not a sock because I'm new, I'm building my userspace and I'm rewriting an article right now. But the aricle in all it's glory isn't featurable per say. That's why the vote is firm. As you said, you're new. You don't really know how this place works yet and therefore shouldn't vote against the hard work of people's, that is until you know how the place works. You haven't written yet and so don't know how much effort it takes for one to write an article. How would you feel if I were a n00b and voted against your article that you put a lot effort into? Ok, AE. First of all, don't bite the noobs. Don't take the date a user joined as a sign of how much respect they should get - everyone's opinion is equally valid. Some people pick up wikis faster than others. Also, don't accuse people of being sockpuppets unless they're actually doing something wrong.

Okay, maybe I just got over the top, but it pisses me of when I put a lot of effort into writing something just for someone to vote against while on the other hand, respected, notable writers write a crappy article and it immediately gets features, no question asked (not to mention 3/4 of the voters didn't read the article and are judging their vote on the author).

I agree that everyone’s opinion is equal regardless of date, but you haven't written anything as of now. Therefore, you don't know how much effort it takes into writing. So you should be more cautios when voting against. At least be constructive - saying "not funny" doesn't really help me make it funny.--Æ 23:52, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

AE, bugger off. The boy voted against. Let's leave it at that, shall we? I realize it's been resolved, but come on now. I'm tired of seeing you go wherever someone has voted against your article and throwing a fucking hissy fit. Against votes happen. They suck. I've been there, believe you me. Several of my articles failed many many times on VFH before my first feature. That doesn't mean you stop trying. And that doesn't mean bullying new users so that they decide to vote in a fashion that's more "in keeping" with your agenda. As of now, this is my noob, so I'm taking charge of his situation.

@ Insignia, do not change your vote. If you felt the article wasn't worthy of the front page strongly enough to vote against, then by all means vote against. As for you AE, as I said before, kindly keep the talk page badgering to an absolute minimum. It's rude, it mongers drama, and it causes the chakras to go all out of whack.
