Now here's one for you...Yesterday I was going through my upload log and QVFDing any images that were unused. I stumbled across a couple of old subpages while I was at it and got an idea; lets everyone do the same. Go through out uploaded images, clear out the unused ones and do a purge of any unused/unwanted subpages. If we don't want to crap up QVFD we could post them here for an admin to delete when they have some free time. Thoughts anyone? -- (Bonner) (Talk) 19:15, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Some users do it I agree but there are certain people that create stupid and useless subpages and then forget about them. I mean take a glance at QVFD; Kip listed a metric shitload of useless subpages for deletion, and so this is for people like him. -- (Bonner) (Talk) 20:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Actually, I made a subpage with all the old subpages I wanted deleted, then linked it on QVFD, promising cake template awards to admins that deleted them. Wouldn't you know it, Zombiebaron deleted that page. NO CAKE FOR YOU! -- Kip the Egg Talk Works 19:52, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Eh, I don't think useless subpages detract much from the site...it's not like anyone ever clicks "random page" and lands on a subpage. But what the hell. I'll put all my old, useless subpages on QVFD tomorrow, or the day after. --THE 20:56, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

There's no particular reason that I'm aware of to delete user subpages. They can't be reached via "Random page" and it's not like we're running low on space. If users want to purge their subspaces that's fine and dandy, but it doesn't improve the wiki as a whole. I'm going to have to rush in here and say that RC is wrong. Well, he's right that there's no reason to delete your user subpages, nobody'll ever go to them unless they're looking for them, and deleting them will save approximately no space. I'm all for keeping subpages that will help contain crap to one page while a decent article covers for it in the mainspace. Subpages are good in userspace to a certain extent as well. I'd hate to try and run Unsoc absolutely and completely through the website since it's hard for people to update policy. ~
