The Order of Uncyclopedia has come to a point where it will have to evolve in order to survive. The order, created in August of last year by User:Elvis has steadily increased in size (espessially in the CUN department) over the last (almost) year. However, as the title states, it is becoming full. Let me first read from the page:

"The Order is limited to 20 Knights and Dames Grand Cross, 20 Knights and Dames Commander, and 200 Commanders. There are no limits on the total number of members of the fourth and fifth classes, but no more than 200 Officers and 300 Members may be appointed per year."


Well this exerpt raised my eyebrow when I first read it. I'm sure we get over 300 members a month, and capping it at 300 is obviously a joke. So is the op cap, as we seem to only give sysop to one person every month.
However with UotM we make a KUN a month, and with WotM we make a GUN every month. At last count we had 19 KUNs, and 16 GUNs. This means that we will have to make changes before the end of next month (when we will have 21 KUNs).
Finnally I think we need to premote some people to Knight Grand Cross. Elvis created the Order, and deserves to be more then a KUN. Insertwackynamehere has done innumerable good deads for Uncyclopedia and also deserves to be given a Grand Cross. When I asked if I could put Feathers in these two gentelemen's caps, I was told no. So I propose to vote them into in the GUN seat, as is allowed in the rules of the Order. Please vote below. --The Zombiebaron 01:02, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

I think having WotM as the sole (well, almost) means of getting GUN works well and reinforces that the writers are what makes the site. Easy for you to say, I can hear you remark, since you're the only one with a non-WotM GUN rank (except for Chron, who gets all the awards anyway, and TheTris, who...I don't really remember much about TheTris, actually). Granted, but if people wanted to downgrade UotY to make WotM the only top award, I wouldn't argue. Though I would be sad. —rc (t) 22:39, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Leave it. We actually ran out of GUN spots some time ago. I changed it from 12 GUNs to 20 when I became GUN #13. And no-one said boo about it.  :) Also, I want to go on record as saying that I fully support executing TheTris because I also have no idea what he did here, and plus, it would move me up to #12.
