The most anticipated contest of the year is nearly upon us. On November 27th the entry phase of this year's Aristocrat's Turkey Day Ball will begin. The three categories of the competition will remain the same as in past years: The Aristocrat's Turkey Day Ball, Best Bad Taste Article, and The Master Goa Tse Award for Digital Imagery. We will require 3 judges for each category, if more than 9 people wish to judge the extras will be made backup judges. Before you volunteer to judge please note that the judging period will begin on December 11th and last one week.

GET FUCKING EXCITED YOU GUYS! The Aristocrat's Turkey Day Ball is the one time a year when we come together as a community to celebrate the best of bad taste. While you cannot post material you wish to enter into the contest on the site before November 27th, start writing now in WordPad or TextEdit or an email addressed to your closest friends and family. The two week entry portion of the contest goes by very quickly and it's easy to procrastinate. From the time of this writing you have over 3 weeks to come up with an aristocrat's joke, a bad taste article, or a bad taste image, or all three. Everything you enter in the contest will be reviewed and scored by three of your fellow Uncyclopedia users. Typically the top articles and pictures are voted for feature quite quickly after the contest ends, so I'm very excited to see what everyone comes up with this year.

I haven't updated the official project page yet, but here is what last year's rules and aftermath looks like. I expect this year's rules will be nearly identical except for date and time changes.

I force feed my chickens a litre of blackberry jam every day and then I force them to regurgitate it. When it comes out it sort of has the consistency of blackberry jam but a foamy kind with the taste of chicken stomache acid. I know I said I didn't care what I judged, but last night I started writing an article that would best fit in bad taste, so could I please judge the Aristocrat's Turkey Day Ball instead?
