Talk Page Archive #4
Kick it old-school with Hinoa's Talk Page Archives! This archive dates back to 24 June 2006, and continues all the way up until 1 August 2006. Vandalism strictly prohibited here (duh). If you want to vandalize something, get a can of spray paint and tag some bathroom stall. Violators will be shot on sight. I have a banstick and I know how to use it. This page is only here because I am a packrat and can't bear to part with my old stuff. Anything here isn't current. If you have to leave me a message, do so at User talk:Hinoa. NRV Removal Request #4802[edit source]

Hey Hinoa, i dont kno how 2 put my name in and stuff, but my acc is BrainDead. I'm just wondering if it would be ok if I take the NRV sticker off this article im making called history of poop. I put a Construction template and put a whole crapload of additions on it since it was put on it, but does that justify taking it off??

Yes, it does. Actually, just the construction tag alone merits removing the NRV. And for further reference, you can add in your name at the end by typing in 4 tildes (looks like ~~~~). Thanks, and I hope you enjoy Uncyclopedia. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 05:05, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Kk, thanks 4 the info, just didn't want to get banned for doing something i didn't know that's wronf --BrainDead 15:20, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

I know I already thanked you, ok? I know![edit source]

Newcookie.gif Somebody has awarded you a cookie!
Now go play in traffic.

I just felt like thanking you again. :D It means a lot to me.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 01:28, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Umm…[edit source]

Why did you get rid of my ratings for Pokémon/text? --FlareNUKE 05:46, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Because a.) they were stupid and not funny, and b.) half the joke is that they're all the same. Having a >choose< tag in there will cause some differentiation, and therefore ruin the joke. Does that work for you? Maj.png Major Sir Hinoa (Plead) (KUN) 05:49, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

UnNews[edit source]

Someone else usually handles the UnNews awards SO JUST GET OFF MY FREAKING BACK OKAY. —rc (t) 05:48, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, but when you are the "someone else..." Maj.png Major Sir Hinoa (Plead) (KUN) 05:49, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for confirming your order[edit source]

... um, I mean, thanks for putting the comment on my user page about having won the E G A E D M. I'm so excited, my forehead is bulging!

Blessings be upon you. Zimbuddha.jpg Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 15:37, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

You're a real piece of s***, you know that?[edit source]

And banning me for saying that will just validate that statement more.

You're not likely to get banned for making a statement about your thoughts on a fellow User or even an Admin, however you are likely to face a ban for Trolling. If you have a disagreement, make a case for your action or what you would like to see happen, but be ready to accept that you may or may not see things turn out your way. Don't just go around attacking people for having an opinion different to your own. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

Oi[edit source]

Hello, I'm a new user. Account Name: CyberHarpie. You seem to have banned me. Unfortunately, your comment was that I had been banned twice before. That's not so. I just signed up like ten hours ago, for God's sake. And I did not blank entries. In fact, I was doing some cleaning up on the DOTA page when I realized you had banned me for no reason. Please check and get back to me.

(My talk page's not up yet)

I think I know what the problem is; there's some idiot that's also using the IP you were registered under. That's the problem with IP addresses; they're not absolute. Though, you shouldn't be able to even edit this talk page while blocked. I think the problem is that the ISP you are on uses a range of IP addresses, so that block is moot anyway. I'll go unblock it now, but any disruptive activity from that IP will result in it being banned. So be sure if that happens to give whomever might be doing it a swift kick in the ass. Requested Move[edit source]

Final Fantasy Five to Final Fantasy V. Regretted move. --~~FlareNUKE (Page Talk Contrib Final Fantasy II) 01:57, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Done, though I think that page is now a casualty of Burninator week. And as far as I know, you don't have any special restrictions on moving pages, so why couldn't you do it? Just click the "move" tab at the top. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 04:05, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Because I couldn't move it back. I'm not allowed to move to pags that already exist. ~~FlareNUKE (Page Talk Contrib Final Fantasy II) 04:38, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Deletion Complaint #203[edit source]

Is there any reason that your deleting my C23A4B32ES8 article --SU182 10:11, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week should explain in gory detail why. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 22:08, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Deletion Complaint[edit source]

Why were my two recent articles on Brianna Banks and ear sex article deleted? They both follow the standard of Uncyclopedia and are quality articles that do not deserve to be deleted for Forest Fire Week. Thanks for getting back to me on this, I appreciate it. Sunshine 03:24, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

As I recall, the Ear sex article consisted of two sentences, neither of which were funny, and a crude depiction of an ASCII penis being inserted into a photographed ear. Brianna Banks sucked equally. I'd recommend reading "How to be funny and not just stupid" and the Beginner's Guide to Being an Uncyclopedian. Though, have 3 cookie points for mentioning this on my talk page instead of some less mature response. I hope you enjoy your time here at Uncyc! —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 03:29, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the input. I am a (obviously) new user and would like to know how tags such as "Construction" and "NRV" are added. Admins do that right? And if a page is designated as under construction, is there still a possibility of it being deleted? I have read HTBFANJS but not all of BGBU. Problem with HTBFANJS is that half of the suggestions are something along the lines of, "you shouldn't do this, but sometimes its funny" and "do this, but if you overdo it, it sucks". I'll try harder next time though, haha. Sunshine 03:35, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Uncyclopedia:NRV explains all about NRV usage and deletion, though I would recommend against using that template during Forest Fire Week (they were first against the wall). The construction template is used by putting {{construction}} on the page. It follows similar rules to NRV: if it isn't expanded into a good-sized article in a week's time, down the hatch it goes. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 03:43, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Ok, thanks, if I have any questions in the future, I will be sure to contact you.

Poof, it's fixed. All you forgot was one little | symbol. Oh, and I don't think you needed anything beyond the filename (none of the http:// and such). Anyway, it's fixed. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 02:32, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

ah yes that works.. .looks better. pictures not very clear, needs to be larger to be clearer, but thanks for that... whoops. forgot the 4 ~ ONX 02:33, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Oh hey, its my first post, why delete it?[edit source]

Hello Hinoa4, i was just wondering if there is the slightest chance that you might reinstate my article 'if you want to read somthing really scary, dont read this, i am out of ideas(abridged) I mean, the article was up for less than an hour and you killed it, please tell me why you would do this, you made my cry, its not like i was tryin to completley fu*k up the entire site, i was just giving my creative input and then wooosh gone, pray tell oh great one, why?... --TEABAG 18:31, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, I'm in a good mood today, so I'll restore it to your user space. I'm sorry, it just wasn't that funny. You can work on making it funnier there. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 18:36, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

thank you kind sir, it wont happen again...--TEABAG 18:39, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Jeffrey Rowland[edit source]

Could you at least put the Jeffrey Rowland article on my user space? It was a sporked article and you deleted it before I thought to put the work in progress template on it. Nora 02:35, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Oh. I didn't see the spork template. I'll restore it to your userpage. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 02:37, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Should it be someplace other than the very bottom? I was going by the one on the Wikipedia entry for where to place it. Nora 02:39, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
I'm not finding it at http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/User:Nora/Jeffrey_Rowland or anywhere else, could you tell me where you put it? Also, where am I supposed to put the spork tag to avoid getting deleted by admins who didn't notice it? Nora 18:31, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Er, that was a spelling mistake on my part. User:Nora/Jeffery Rowland is where I restored it to because I can't speel. User:Hinoa4/sig1M 20:17, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi[edit source]

It's great to be at Uncyclopedia. Thanks for welcoming me- red links to my talk page SUCK!

Canada[edit source]

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! I was trying to connect to this IRC thingy to warn the IRC world of pesky anti-Canadian vandals, and before I'd got connected you'd already protected the page. Thank you.

Mean people suck. Modusoperandi 06:46, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Front Page[edit source]

Hinoa, I noticed that you're on, and since you're an admin, take a look at the front page. Somebody vandalized it, and it just says O CANADA over and over, covering up all links. Take a look and you'll see what I mean. Thanks, -- Sir Cornbread The Great America...Fuck Yeah!!!! [SHOUT] [MUN] [GET THIS FEATURED!] 06:49, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Sannse took care of the vandalism, and I took care of the dick who did it. Now, to find Codeine's "Durr" template... —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 06:51, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Alright, thanks. Just thought I'd tell you in case you didnt know already. Good that it was solved quickly. -- Sir Cornbread The Great America...Fuck Yeah!!!! [SHOUT] [MUN] [GET THIS FEATURED!] 06:55, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Papercuts of Doom vfd log[edit source]

My ulterior motive for the first move (direct to the source) was to guard against another mindless deletion by any other clueless admin. On the talk page is fine by me; however we will need to watch the original article more carefully now. Any objection to upping the protection levels on both? --DW III CUN.pngOUN.png 21:31, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

I see. I'll go put a notice on the main article. And I don't have any objections to protection. Remember, kiddies, always wear protection! —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 21:37, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
That'll do.  :-) --DW III CUN.pngOUN.png 21:44, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Stupid bear...[edit source]

Thank you. I had removed it before, but then Mhaille put it back. Stupid cabalers!! Anyways... Thanks for removing it... Saves me from a lot of whinging... (though it did only have -4 when counted correctly, but let's sweet that bit under the rug, shall we?) --~ sin($) tan() 00:27, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I can't log in[edit source]

I'm curious, Why can't I log in as SU182?, Whenever I try to log in it says Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class skintemplate in /usr/wikia/source/wiki16svn/includes/SkinTemplate.php on line 1008, Can anyone help me. --70.89.254.126 03:33, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Ooh, I have no clue at all. If anyone would know though, I'd bet on Sannse or Splarka—or anyone listed here. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 05:04, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Aw man..[edit source]

Come on...redirecting Better Than You to Everybody is FUNNY. I didn't even have time to spamlink it across the cosmos. You realize that you're just forcing me to link every instance of "better than you" to everybody just out of spite, don'tcha?--Ichthus.svg Jayrod «Speek MUN WH» 22:09, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Bolo Yeung[edit source]

No redeeming value - but... but... it's Bolo Yeung! He's the Chinese Vin Diesel! He should have his own meme: 'In the African bush, an elephant can kill you, a leopard can kill you, and a black mamba can kill you. But only with Bolo Yeung is death certain.'; 'In Bloodsport, when Bolo Yeung threw salt in Jean Claude Van Damme's face, it wasn't cheating. It was seasoning.'; 'Bolo Yeung refuses to fight Mr. T because... fuck the white man!' Any advice? BlueRhythmJohnny 00:16, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

By the way, for the record, I AM THE ONE WHO INVENTED "Vin Diesel owns all cars, and invented the Vin number to keep track of them." Ha! Ha ha ha! HA! BlueRhythmJohnny 00:18, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

There it is bi-a-tch, that is my edit, I am a fucking comic genius!!!!!!!! Give me my props yo! BlueRhythmJohnny 00:25, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
