User talk:Hinoa/archive/3
Kick it old-school with Hinoa's Talk Page Archives! This archive dates back to 22 May 2006, and continues all the way up until 24 June 2006. Vandalism strictly prohibited here (duh). If you want to vandalize something, get a can of spray paint and tag some bathroom stall. Violators will be shot on sight. I have a banstick and I know how to use it. This page is only here because I am a packrat and can't bear to part with my old stuff. Anything here isn't current. If you have to leave me a message, do so at User talk:Hinoa. That's the page I pay attention to. You can return to my archive index by clicking here.

(Because people seem to like splicing discussions, the bulk of this is at User talk:PiOfFive.)
I dunno...kicks? --PiOfFive 17:25, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
I s'pose it's not..I just finished my Computer Science Final....A lil bored I guess. It's random humor (both literally and figuratively) --PiOfFive 17:30, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

Would you tell me what exactly sucks in my article so I can improve it? (Parthenogenesis) Cheers! User:Eli

Frogturd[edit source]
Hey, if you do throw your monitor out of the window, make sure you get a photo.
I saw your reprieve for poor old Aled Jones, it's no fun being a has-been. I'm sure he would cheer up if he saw the article.
I see you removed all those votes. I swear, all those people were queuing up outside my office to use my PC, even the Queen and her entourage.
Last time I heard she was muttering something about the Tower of London.
--Frogturd 14:04, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I just commented them out. They're still there; they're just not visible unless you look at the source. —Hinoa KUN (talk) 14:06, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Can we have them back? I was hoping for a Knighthood. Besides, I don't fancy spending the summer poking pieces of bread through the bars of a cell in The Tower.
Thanks[edit source]
Thanks for your vote on Identity Theft. I'm glad to see that you don't discriminate at your diminished baud rate, 14.4 kbps or whatever you get. You must live in the woods or something not to get at least DSL, which is just a fucking con by the telecom's. GOD Captain Morgan is good, never mind, I'm glad you voted, for real, no one seems to give a shit either way, and that's almost worse than voting against it. -- Sir Severian (Sprich mit mir!) 01:46, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Threat to remove "Hava Nagilah" article[edit source]
You said the article sucks. Do you know what the hava nagilah is? Maybe this certain piece of knowledge is irrelevant, but I think it's rash to threaten to huff it based singly on your opinion. Either way, I'm afraid there's not a lot that can be added to it to make it insanely hilarious. Maybe the 'schitzen' was lame, I'll concede that... but as a Jew with a self-deprecating sense of humor I quite like it. Ninja Fish 22:00, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
My userpage[edit source]
Thank you for reverting the vandalism on my userpage. I knew how to revert it but I didn't do it because I wanted to have an administrator on the edit history. --Sbluen 23:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Emmanuel Goldstein Thingie[edit source]
Thanks for your vote and your comment. I've actually been thinking about that for some time. I'm torn between a certain amount of inconsistancy and the sort of thing I hear on such notable news broadcasts by NPR, BBC, and my mom. I'm leaning towards tha latter. Thanks! Rev. Question[edit source]
Would it be ok to remove the nrv tag now that I expanded the article on eragon or is it still crap. grovel bow grovel.
--Bobspelledbackwards 09:00, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

On "The Great 0"[edit source]
Could you give me tips on how to improve my article The great 0 so that i dont loose it?
- First of all, you should go check out How to be Funny, and Not Just Stupid and the Beginner's Guide to Being an Uncyclopedian. They're better than any advice I can give you. Also, keep in mind that if you significantly improve an article, you can remove the NRV tag. Make sure it's significantly improved, though. —Hinoa KUN (talk) 22:44, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for welcoming me. Hope I helped improve The world cup article. If not, feel free to put the remove tag back on. Cheers. Starghost 03:05, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Please could you point me in the right direction for uploading images?
Thanks

- Of course! In the Toolbox panel to your left, there's a link labeled "Upload File". That's what you're looking for. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 17:11, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Aw, Man...[edit source]
Ya hurt me, Hinoa, old buddy. Sorry, I still haven't bothered to reclaim my identity, but considering the shenanigans a certain someone recently performed on my userpage, I felt a childish need for some form of vengeance. Plus, ya gotta admit, it was pretty damn appropriate (eww)! Plus, I only put it where it was needed. *grin* Anyway, I'll take my hits with cybernetic pride, and look forward to getting back to the business of EX-TER-MI-NAT-ING very soon! Cheers, and smile! --169.200.185.23 17:14, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- P.S. Congrats on SysOp! Sorry I wasn't around to see it happen, but you deserved it! I GOT MY MASTER'S!!! Yay me! --169.200.185.23 17:16, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, and congrats on getting your master's. Of course, I had no idea who was doing that at the time. Oh, and what's the word so far about getting your password back? I know you were having a bit of trouble with that... —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 17:21, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Eh, I heard back from JasonR, and he supposedly reset my password & emailed it to me. Unfortunately(?) I've been on a month and a half long celebration kick of drunken gaming and wanton vacationing (it's so nice not to have a novel hanging over one's head!) As soon as I get home, I'll give it a shot. I'll drop a line on Village Dump if it works, although I'm not sure how well I'm remembered! If it doesn't work, well, I can always rebuild myself
out of harvested human DNAbigger, stronger, faster, etc. It's been frustrating being a non-entity, let me tell ya. However, in light/spite of recent bannage (which I think I had coming for a while now, as I can be a right jerk when the mood strikes me,) I think I have a great "How To:" article to write. Plus, it's not like there aren't already hundreds ofslavesdedicated "farmers" mining that particular resource inBangkokBeijinngLiverpool. I think some of our snippy friends out there could use such valuable information. --169.200.185.27 17:30, 19 June 2006 (UTC) - Whoa, I just noticed that my work IP keeps changing... sorry! --169.200.185.27 17:33, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- What bannage? I don't see 169.200.185.25 on the block list...anymore. :D I'm unblocking you in case it dicks with your username any... when you get it back. And besides, it was sort of useless: I noticed your IP was changing--in fact, I kinda assumed it, because otherwise I'd be going about my business without this talking stuff. —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 17:35, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

- Heeee, thanks. :) Once again, sorry for being a vabnal, but really, after that guy dicked around with my page over an ancient QVFD entry, I just couldn't leave well enough alone. Heck, even Codeine gave him an "award." It's fortunate, really, that he was stoopid enough to upload such an unflattering picture of himself. I might have to make use of it someday. God, I'm a vicious feck! Anyway, good to see the home guard's still vigilant, and keep SMASHY alive, you admin you! --169.200.185.27 17:38, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Talk:Euripides[edit source]
I thank you for your comment Archimedes (it gave me a little more to go on) and I'm trying to bolster that talk page up a bit. If you feel like contributing anything more, I'd be most appreciative. If not, I'll just keep arguing with myself. "Stop arguing with yourself. No, you stop arguing with yourself." See what I mean? It's bad (sorry for that — it's getting kinda late here). :) -- Imrealized 06:25, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
