At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Auk/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply put {{adoptme}} on your Userpage to join. thanks for the possibly automated or copy-pasted comment on my talk page but right now i have already gotten started on writing an article... one that i am surprised nobody has done yet, and i even uploaded an image to go with it.

Gotta go see my almost dead grandparents

As the title of this section states i am going to go see my grandparents for a week starting tomorrow, you may wonder how this affects you... well most likely it wont, but for those of you who care I will have little to no internet access, but fear not! I will not be totally useless, I will pick one or two articles to write on a word processor while I am out and do some serious typing! After i get these articles worthy (or get back... whichever comes first) I will use what little internet access I have to put them up, at which point they will likely be huffed. I feel shitty

Maybe you need to read HowTo:Get a Life? I know the chap who wrote that knows a fair bit about being funny. I'm sorry you are feeling down, and hope to see you around a bit more. There are some really good people who edit this wiki, and this place can be a lot of fun. If you know how to have fun. Always remember with your writing, write what you like, and the rest will come.
