The article isn't hilarious, but it has a few funny jokes. It looks like hes taken his time with it, and it is at least not a stub. It is also not one of those articles where the person is trying to hard to be funny. On the other hand, I do think the link spamming is over the top, and it should be taken out of pages where it makes the page less funny. For example, on one page he put Rich Scanlon over someone elses name, which didn't give the page anything, it just gave him a link.
