Adoption[edit source]
Sure! Consider yourself adopted. If you like, you can replace the template currently on your userpage with the one below. As always, I recommend taking a look at the links posted in the welcome message TKF left you, particularly HTBFANJS. It's probably one of the most helpful pages around for writing. Meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or on my talk page. Cheers, - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 18:43, Oct 30
- Thanks! Well, first things first... Is there a page anywhere that lists all the codes to use in editing the font, colo(u)r etc? I can change the size, but everything else has me stumped... partly because I'm computer illiterate and also 'cus I'm lazy. thanks again...--ThisIsNotMyRealName 20:42, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, there is. I usually just search "color hex codes" or some such thing on google, but Uncyclopedia:Palette has a pretty good selection of useful colors. If you want to see the formatting tricks to get the colors, my sig uses a couple of techniques. If you like, just steal the coloring code from there. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 20:52, Oct 31
- Thanks (I get the feeling I'm going to use that a lot)... I tried doing a sig using some codes, it looked alright but the computer crashed without me saving it (damn virus[es]) so I'm not gonna bother until I've got some free time again (blame coursework). Why am I still on here? I've got work to do! -ThisIsNotMyRealName 18:18, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Classy[edit source]
Here's a handy user template! -- • <-> 20:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yay! But how do you make them? (Should probably be asking Led this...)
- Shazam, he appears! First off, don't forget to sign your posts, even on your own talk page. You gotta use four of those tildey-things. And to stick a template somewhere, just add
{{User:Cajek/Classy}}
to wherever you want it to appear. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 00:40, Nov 13- Oooh! Magic Tricks! it's so cool, it deserves two capitals. I guess I've still got a lot to learn... but how do you create the templates?--ThisIsNotMyRealName 22:21, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Basically, just steal the code from some else's that you like, and modify it until you like it even more. But, you should avoid putting templates into the template namespace whenever possible. Doing that tends to be a great way to get on Famine's bad side. I think he still holds it against me since I tried it back in April... - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 22:24, Nov 14
- Thanks for the tip... I'll just avoid Famine from now on (speaking of which, I'm hungry). I'm thinking about writing an article about Cursive (as in the handwriting and the swearing), but there are two problems. 1) I'm illiterate, and 2) I've got my mock exams coming up, which means I should be revising... now... (ah never mind, I'll still fail). So do you think it might be something you would like to expand on? Just a thought... ThisIsNotMyRealName 22:43, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- My advice will always be to give it a shot and see how it goes. Screwing up was part of the learning process for me, and it'll probably be for you, too(unless you're one o' them fancy-pants NotM people, hmmph!). Take a look at HTBFANJS and Uncyclopedia:The Creative Process for ideas and tips, and start the page in your userspace (such as at User:ThisIsNotMyRealName/Cursive). Also, when you say cursive means swearing, do you by any chance mean cussing, or are regional dialects of English just out to get me again? - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 23:00, Nov 14

- Nope, I'm not that fancy... thanks for the links. And yup, back in jolly ol' England cursing means cussing (but then again, the only people that say "cursing" are those fancy types... hmmph indeed). It's a conspiracy against you Led, run and hide! I'll try it, even though I hate screwing up (I'm one of those weird lazy perfectionists)--ThisIsNotMyRealName 23:10, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, duh! I knew cursing meant cussing, I was just a bit too "slow" to pick up on that. Of course, this doesn't change the fact that words are conspiring against me. Have you ever really looked for words? You start to see em... they're everywhere, they control everything. Like the Jews. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 23:35, Nov 14
- I think you’re right. The control they have over everything is completely wrong. It’s a common fact that Jewish people control everything and only love and care for themselves. It’s like everyone else doesn’t exist. My first censored text! How proud are you? And obviously you knew what I meant, you were just testing me (stick with that cover story from now on). I think I see the words now that you mention it... but they look harmless. -ThisIsNotMyRealName 23:46, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, be careful. The Jews are controlling everything. There are a great many of them in Hollywood, you know. Oh, and now you see that words are everywhere? Nowhere is safe from them! I don't know what to do, and I'm starting to worry. I guess we'll just have to hope they go away. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 00:13, Nov 15
- But the words gave me a chocolate chip cookie! How can they be anything but nice?-ThisIsNotMyRealName 17:55, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Ta very much[edit source]
And they could beat you up. |
Ta muchly! Under User would like to present you with a chandelier by way of thanks for voting for his hat-trick highlight article, HowTo:Fuck Off. It isn't tasteful or stylish, is in no way understated (unless you happen to live in a palace) and so forth, but it has a long chain, sturdy hand holds, and swings well, and will be an invaluable aid to fucking off stylishly in future. Place it carefully! |
You have been thanked, and now (with weary predictability) I must fuck off! --Sir Under User (Hi, How Are You?) VFH KUN 22:52, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
