- Nomination - I particularly enjoy Vincent Van Gogh's Things To Do on a Rainy Afternoon and his article on Night Court. He's written a fair amount of good content in a short amount of time, and holds a good word with some well-known contributors. All of their articles have a very relzxed tone, which is one of the things I enjoy most about them. So, in conclusion, this is a new user with new ideas, and I think that makes them a great candidate for NotM. t o m p k i n s blah. ﺞوﻦ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ วอฏม +տ trade websites 19:22, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

- Strongest Possible For. After reading the above linked article on van Gogh, I knew I could do one of two things — figure out a way to steal the credit for this n00bs genius work, or vote for said n00b. You're lucky this was easier. -- Imrealized 08:26, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

NotM Award[edit | edit source]
We have long called out for a man of letters, a man of learning, someone with the wit and intelligence to take both himself and us beyond the realms of the mundane. One day, that man may arrive. Until that time, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Shandon.

- Nom and For Shandon is one of the few here who has actually written more than one UnBook this month. Uncyclopedian
- For. Why not give this great n00b 2 awards for the month? He deserves them both. -- Sir Cornbread The Great [SHOUT] [MUN] [GET THIS FEATURED!] 01:36, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- Comment This great user has an UnBook up to be featured. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me! 17:36, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- For. I certainly think that UnBooks:The World According to Garm has tipped the scales in favour of Shandon, it is quite unique and a certain UnBook feature. On top of that, I think there must have been about five other UnBooks, and UnBooks certainly needs contributors, so in my opinion, he/she deserves to be the first AOTM. Sorry, Sonic, but your works over the past few weeks have not gone unnoticed. --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 16:46, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

- Ahh - in other words, even if there's somehow a last-minute rush of opposing votes and he doesn't win, for you he'll still be the AotM, if only for sentimental reasons. OK, I can roll with that... Never mind, then! Still, this is the sort of thing that causes me to (mostly) avoid these sorts of pages. c • > • cunwapquc? 18:53, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

AotM Award[edit | edit source]
UnBooks UnAuthor of the Month I is not a pet. I is Shandon, Author of Month July. I is respected Shakespearian Actor and prominent reporter. So why does master insist on calling me n00b? I has travelled the country to bring top quality UnBooks to Uncyclopedia, but master does not approve. What I have to do to gain respect? I is now fully toilet trained, and I no longer chew the couch. Ahhhghghghhghh.
Beautifully written (again)! I sometimes think this site doesn't deserve you or something. But this strikes me as the sort of thing that only about 2-3 percent of people are going to get - and not necessarily including myself, either. What might help would be a photo of an old, really grouchy/cranky-looking guy hunched over a typewriter... it wouldn't even need a caption, or the caption could be as simple as just the guy's name. Maybe something like this monkey on the right might work, but an old-geezer type would probably be better.
The only other thing I might suggest is that finishing with a letter to God doesn't reach quite far enough into the realm of absurdity - you might try having him write the last one to the leader of an invading alien space fleet, or maybe a cartoon character, such as The Incredible Hulk... I'm just throwin' out ideas here, though. It's quite good as-is, really! c • > • cun vfh ns pix q todd yap 05:30, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Do you mind if I steal your image (is it original?)??? I added something about the Hulk, but am sad to hear only 2-3% might get
