Atlantis: The Lost Movie is a legendary animated film purported to have been made in 2001 by the Walt Disney Company but believed to have been lost many eons ago, just like its inspiration, the mythical or legendary island empire of Atlantis. The movie's existence in the first place has been up for debate for years.

Alleged plot[edit | edit source]

Alleged cast[edit | edit source]

  • Michael J. Fox allegedly as Milo Thatch: to this day, Fox swears that he played this allegedly nerdy character who fulfills his dream, but let's take it with a grain of salt, his Parkinson's is probably causing him to make this up.
  • Cree Summers allegedly as Kida, the alleged Disney Princess of Atlantis who is adorable, sexy, feminine, occasionally super-powered by some blue crystal thingy, and a warrior instead of a damsel in distress or Mary Sue like all subsequent Disney Princesses in the 21st Century. Another reason why this film may be the stuff of legends.
  • Leonard Nimoy allegedly as the King of Atlantis

Arguments against the film's existence[edit | edit source]

According to Disney themselves, this film does not exist. Anyone who mentions it or asks about it at Disney World is never seen again.. and never existed themselves. Any mention of Shrek and Atlantis within three words of each other in a sentence will cause the Disney reps to go bezerk and turn into screeching blue crystal monsters like Rouke allegedly turned into during the alleged movie's climax.

Disney also argues that Princess Kida never existed, and even if she did, does not qualify to be a Disney Princess because she broke all the stereotypes and is "a poor representation of a female role model we want our little girls to look up to." Milo doesn't exist because "he is a nerd who becomes more confident in the end and wins despite remaining a nerd. He's also too athletic to be a nerd."

Current whereabouts and impact on popular culture[edit | edit source]

The last copies of the movie were purported to be onboard the two airplanes hijacked and flown into the Twin Towers on September 11th. Apparently, Al Qaeda was threatened by Atlantis and Osama bin Laden ordered the film destroyed along with the two towering symbols of American strength.
