Talk:The Great Aspie War of Ought Six
This article has been suggested by many, I just started it. If I invited you here, have a field day. If you know other users that would want a piece of this, by all means invite them. I think it would be best to hide this here until it's ready to spring on the little weasel. ••••• I my cat! 12:45, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Might be useful to put in a note about Uncyclopedia:Pages_for_deletion/archive35#Asperger.27s_Syndrome was this the WWI that setup the conditions for WWII?--The Right Honourable Maj Sir Elvis UmP KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur. CM and bars UGM F@H (Petition) 13:08, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Was AS actually put on VFD recently, I can't find any record of it?--The Right Honourable Maj Sir Elvis UmP KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur. CM and bars UGM F@H (Petition) 13:41, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Actually, I think the voting to VFD it kinda broke down when it became clear that Slashy was going to keep whining, no matter what. It's very doubtful, even if it does go up for VFD still, that it'll get huffed. ••••• I my cat! 13:52, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- One idea I just had: part of this should be a war game. You know, like Arab-Israeli Conflict (video game). Could help the funny and we can use real forum quotes and make fun of how stupid they are. --Hrodulf 14:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- We have a fantastic quotes section now, and I think the war game idea is actually less funny than the current format. Slashy, thanks for the memories! --Hrodulf 20:54, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Carry on![edit source]
Ug. Me sleep now. Gotta go to work in six hours. Back after work. ••••• I my cat! 14:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Disclaimer template[edit source]
I added a disclaimer template that tells true aspies not to take the article seriously, and it is also funny (which they might not really get) at the same time. Make the war game at The Great Aspie War of Ought Six (video game) please and leave this article as it is in its current format. --Lt. Orion Blastar (talk) 18:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- If someone wants to make a war game, that's fine, but I'm thinking it may be premature until this has aged a little bit and we can work out a way to make it even funnier. --Hrodulf 20:55, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Vote to make this part of UnNews[edit source]
- Nom and For Why not? This is, after all, news. --Lt. Orion Blastar (talk) 18:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

- For Sure, it's war reporting. --Hrodulf 19:25, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- For. We've commemmorated other Uncyclopedia events at UnNews, and this is much bigger than most of them.--<<>> 23:49, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- P. S. Anyone who wants can write stories chronicling the ongoing battle, giving us daily updates and whatnot. That'd be very cool. I'm just keeping myself out of it, for now.--<<>> 23:50, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Quotes[edit source]
I've added some quotes from Anon Slashy that I think are either the funniest or stupidest things he's said. I tried to pick one-liners that were either self-contradictory, or ones that a person who has not read the original forum would still find ridiculous. Some of these got included just because they show how ridiculously extreme his thinking is. So, feedback please, are these quotes funny or boring? Jboyler 19:19, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- They're great, remind me of Bagdad Bob. Slashy is like Nevada-Tan, taking on an imaginary life as a fictional character. He's our IP now! --Hrodulf 19:27, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, taken out from the rest of the huge forum, those quotes really shine. This guy makes President Bush look like Cicero. --Hrodulf 20:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Slashy nommed for GOTM[edit source]
Let's show Slashy exactly what we think of him and his ideas about how to "improve" uncyclopedia. Vote Slashy for your October 2006 GOTM!!!! --Hrodulf 20:21, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Slashy is certainly a laughing matter[edit source]
Just wanted to say great work to everyone so far. This is shaping up into quite a lovely satire not only of Slashy, but also of the war in Iraq, and war and conflict in general. Great job, Uncyclopedia! --Hrodulf 21:39, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Indeed. This is turning into what I wanted Euroipods Crusade to be when I started it way back when. Excellent work, everyone.--<<>> 23:52, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Request[edit source]
This isn't my baby, so I won't mess with it, but I wonder if you could give me a slightly less prominant role in the narrative. Or maybe not mention my name directly in the main body.---Rev. Isra (talk) 21:25, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Isra's will is done always. --Hrodulf 01:59, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Quotes[edit source]
I don't remember Slashy saying "F*CKING LISTEN YOU C*NTS!!". When and where did he say that? -- Mitch 02:07, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- When he recreated Forum:Asperger Syndrome is no laughing matter, after it was split in 3 and archived. That page is now a redirect to the archived forum. ••••• I my cat! 06:52, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- I was going to add that quote when I saw it, but got beaten to the punch. Oh well, can't win them all. --Hrodulf 17:47, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Pure. Fucking. Gold.[edit source]
I find this article to be utterly hilarious. Those who wrote it? Kudos to you; you caused my monitor to suffer no less than three spit-takes. —Xoid (MUN F@H Talk) 15:22, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Offending and Alienating Aspies (aka a three lettered word)[edit source]
You people just won't stop will you? Clearly you intend to insult all Aspie kind.
The following is exceptionally offensive: "Still attempting to gain control, the enemy, coming from an undisclosed location, must have had over-extended his supply lines;".
That 'had' (between 'have' and 'over-extended') has no business being there. The derogatory article that started this major coordinated assault on the Aspie world is one thing, but to include grammatical errors in one of your articles is obviously an intentional move in a highly planned and cleverly (well....as clever as NTs get anyhow) orchestrated campaign of aspie-alienation.
What the fuck do you mean "who wouldnt want to alienate you prim-lipped fastidious pedantic perfectionist wankers?" Do you think it is funny to spell 'wouldn't' without an apostraphe? This is exacty the kind of crap that's causing me to perform a frustrated routine of stereotypical repeatitive movements in a pique of angst. Besides which, having a sex-drive is usually a pre-requisite for masturbation.
I have corrected the poor grammar and have noted my editing here (rather than on the history/edit log keep trackie of thingie page) because my vastly superior intellect is targetted toward language orientated tasks (such as keeping track of my vast vocabularly) and doesnt stretch to mundane things like having some clue as to how to properly edit the edit log.
For the record, I'd just like to point out how much more offensive these kind of incidents would be to Aspie-kind if dyslexia were not such a common comorbid trait to Asperger's Syndrome.
(Signing my comments in the expected format is also beneath my vast intellect - no it's not because I couldn't if I really wanted, it just quite simply does not interest me). Signed OoA
NOOOO! you spelled Apostrophe with an A instead of an E! IIII KIIIIL YYOOOUUUU! "Apostrophe" comes from a Greek work meaning a turn, and it's related to the word "strophe", thus the O is UTTERLY ESSENTIAL! doom [kindly ignore the fact that I'm kindly ignoring the fact that you intentionally misspelled more words that just "apostrophe". I don't have the time to research the etymologies of each delicious bait word]

- At risk of stating the obvious (which I bet you hate), there is a red button in the upper-right corner of your window (upper-left, if you use a Mac). When all else fails, it's always better to click said button rather than get mad.
- That said, one of the things I believe Aspies have a great amount of difficulty with is laughing at themselves. Aspies (and I'd like to interject that by that, I mean most Aspies) have a great sense of humor--as long as it's just in general or on someone else. When the joke's on them, though, there's this tendency to assume that it's not actually a joke, and therefore become offended. It probably has something to do with not being able to read emotions well or something about which you probably know more than I. Trust me, being able to take a joke is one of the best things to be able to do. I spent three years in a small town in Pennsylvania, and they sucked because I couldn't laugh at myself. (That, and I was in middle school.)
- A few notes on the rest of your essay: 1.) Thank you for a.) fixing the grammar, and b.) not vandalizing the wiki. 2.) I don't know how to edit the revision log, and I'm a sysop. Thankfully, the software does that automatically. 3.) Aspies have trouble enough making friends as it is. Acting as if your intelligence makes you better than everyone else isn't going to help matters.
- Have a nice day. —Major Sir Hinoa prepare for trouble • make it double? 18:07, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it's true, we do have a sense of humour, often involving over the top hyperbole delivered in dead-pan tones. Sometimes people dont even realise when we're joking, maybe we're more silly than funny. Signed OoA

Random, uncalled-for, comment[edit source]
I must be a "tru aspee", just the other day a psychologist handed me a rather official-looking paper that said, in a few more words, "u iz a tru aspie". Previously I would cynically and sarcastically use the word "assburger" to imply that I am a bookish nerd with the social skills of a stalk of blanched asparagus . Now it's Official, I Officially am better at thinking than you will ever be and I Officially can't figure out why you're raising your eyebrows. And because of that stupid Officialism (did I just coin a word?) the uncyclopedia take on Asperger's is that much more funny. My view, all jokes aside, is that Asperger's Syndrome is nothing less than a cruel and demeaning way of saying "you're a bookish nerd with the social skills of a dead blade of grass, I don't care what you have to say about bookish nerdy things, even if I have many of the same interests as you. go back under your rock and leave me with my well-dressed friends, you're making me look bad by being smarter than me and having a funny hair-do."
