Please don't add line breaks when adding includeonly and noinclude to templates (except INSIDE the noinclude), it breaks some templates. --Splaka 03:35, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm assuming that you mean the <br> tag? I'll refrain from editing any templates until you clarify that for me. --Xoid 07:20, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, just linebreaks in the wikicode break it. For example, this version of Template:User screwed it up as multiple wikicode linebreaks are rendered as html linebreaks (<p><br /></p>). The solution is to move the <noinclude> and <includeonly> up to the same line (although linebreaks inside the noinclude are ok, as they are not included)... See the working version of Template:User. Basically, it is best not to introduce more linebreaks into a template unless you know what the effect will be. --Splaka 07:38, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- Seems like wikicode, while looking like HTML, is no where near as forgiving with its syntax. I'll bear that in mind. Thanks for the info --Xoid 07:56, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Splarka, Assuming you still have my talk page on your watchlist, I thought I might as well get confirmation that my edit to Template:Blanker didn't fuck anything up. For clarification, should the <includeonly>...included stuff...</includeonly> start on the same line as the end of the template, like so:
<div ...>blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah</div><br clear="all" /><includeonly></includeonly><noinclude> blah blah blah</noinclude>
Or would this be acceptable:
<div ...>blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah</div><br clear="all" /> <includeonly></includeonly><noinclude> blah blah blah</noinclude>
I want clarification on this because while from what you've told me, I'm sure the former will work, I've seen more than a few templates use the latter style. But I don't want to make meaningless edits. Xoid 04:21, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Should work either way. Although if the template is meant to be used inline (like Template:Monster), probably best to keep all the stuff on one line (excluding line breaks in noinclude). --Splaka 04:36, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Signatures, above and beyond[edit source]
So, it's me again... This time it's two little know-hows about sigs.
- You've left a little bit of a mess on my talk page. Here's what the code of your sig looked like:
To correct the problem, put as your nickname in your preferences—Xoid <small>(MUN F@H Talk)</small> 16:07, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
User:Xoid/sig
. That way you will counter-act one of Mediawiki's latest feature, namely adding SUBST to raw signatures (you'll see it happen after you've saved your changes). For more information on this matter, read this. - On my talk page, you left a reddy... This got me somewhat intrigued and so I did some research. Eventually I found the wiki (which is hosted independently of wikia) and had a little look at what you were doing over there. Seems your quite a lovable "nubis", ain't ya? Anyways, allow me to awe them some more with your knowledge of wikiness. In particular,
woocourtimpress Mia Kristos... Tell her to replace her sig-code with the following:
That way, her image will link to her user page, instead of just sit there... She might want to remove or replace the info-link, but I'll leave that up to her.<span class="plainlinks">http://amusing.soul-fantasy.net/miasig.gif</span>(info) (talk)
There we have it... That's all I had to say on signatures for now. Take care and have a good one! --~ sin($) tan(€) 23:00, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
You are a lesbian?![edit source]
Hello, we have never met before. 2 minutes ago I was at another user's page and it said that she was a lesbian, the word "lesbian" was in bold, blue letters so I clicked on it and it brang me to a different article. The article was a list that listed people who were lesbians and you were on it. Correct me if I'm wrong but are you actually a lesbian (I find it strange because I have never met a real lesbian in my home, Hawaii)?! Salacious 20:00, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
