The Southern Hemisphere is precise; explicit and clearly defined; known for certain to be the definite article—situated in or oriented toward the south and or situated in or coming from regions of the south in which regards to one of two parts identical or equivalent to of a divisible whole of the celestial body that revolves around the typical star that is the source of light and heat for the planets in the solar system, the planet we call the 3rd planet from the sun; the planet on which we live, more of the same, etcetera, continuing in the same way. Q.E.D.
